Stopped here to rest on the way to the lower cape. We arrived late after 10p and the office was closed but thankfully there was a phone for us to call. A very nice gentleman named Kabal* greeted us after hours. I had called earlier to ask if there were restaurants opened late in the area but he suggested we grab a bite before we arrived or stop at a local grocery store. That was good advice as it was quiet around that area when we arrived. The room was very simple, yet clean and cozy. Flat screen tv, fridge & wifi was also a nice touch. In the morning, he was kind enough to make me a fresh pot of coffee and put out mini blueberry muffins & orange juice. As we were checking out, he thanked us for visiting and invited us back saying that there were plans for renovations. We will come back to stay here again someday because the price was right and our stay was relaxed and pleasant.

My son chilling in the room. We were very comfortable.

I bought this through Booking. com., but going forward I will call Bala, the owner directly. The parking lot is tight. I was quite surprised how neat the room was. First, I has reserved a single room to fit 2 adults. When we came to check in the owner asked me if we wanted a double bed for the same price. Of course I jumped on it. I mean I'm a soccer mom and I'm very frugal and if someone offer me an extra bed for the same price I'm going to jump on it. Mind you, he did tell me that he doesn't do this all the time. I think he felt sorry for my son having to share a bed with his mother. I always carry a cot so he doesn't have to though. Lol Anyway, I come in with my Lysol wipes and spray. As as I was quickly wiping the doorknobs down I noticed how clean everything was previously. I checked the bed for bed bugs, pulled back the blankets to look at the sheets ..nothing there so I was very happy. If you like a very firm bed, then you're in for a treat. I personally like a softer bed. But for one night, I dealt with it. Bala was very helpful with sharing the good eating spots and Captain Parker's Pub is a great destination. This is a great place to stay for the money! We'll have to come back to this area soon.

Not bad not good. Paid less than 120$ for a night in September. 90% of hotels were booked when I tried. The guest lodge was also full, every parking space. Make sure your in between the lines it is very tight. Check in and check out was very easy. The hotel did not seem to be American owned. Check in guy was nice. Gave us a run down of what was expected. The room.. From the street and pictures the place looks like an 8 or 9 out of 10. Our room was out back, not on the street. Walking in the room it smelled bad. 2 out of 10 for smell. The linen was clean I suppose but who actually knows. The bed was very stiff and the pillows were bad. The walls were dorm/jail like cement blocks painted. The a/c did not work well and no windows could open. It became very stuffy even with the door open. Sink and bathroom were quite clean. The fridge and TV seemed to be newer. The worst part was the smell and stuffiness. No wind came in from the back of the hotel. It was hot and almost suffocating. I would rather be camping. Probably wouldn't return here in the future. Have stayed at nicer places for less than 100$

Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. At a loss of words for how rude and disrespectful the 'manager' was.
