Tanger Outlets Commerce - Where Reviewers Are Many, But Enforcement Is... Selective…read more As someone who reviews shopping centers often--on both Yelp and Google--I've come to expect a certain level of consistency, especially from a well-established outlet brand like Tanger. Usually, sharing photos and feedback is welcomed. Encouraged, even. At Tanger Locust Grove, I posted a review with photos and was personally thanked by the owner. But at Tanger Commerce, I discovered something quite different. While taking a few standard photos during my visit (like I've done at dozens of malls - some with almost 100k views), I was approached by a security guard, followed from across the complex from Nike to Marshall's, photographed, and informed that photography is prohibited unless I had a press or media pass. When I identified myself as a reviewer, hoping for some clarity or even conversation, I was met with suspicion and stone-faced enforcement. My boss makes me enforce this rule I was told - leaving me wondering who his boss is, as from the owners replies to other posts it clearly isn't them. Here's where it really gets confusing: a multitude of other reviewers--on both Yelp and Google--have uploaded photos of storefronts, interiors, signage, merchandise, and even selfies at this very location. Entire photo carousels exist, ranging from fashion displays to food court visits, without a whisper of consequence. One reviewer even uploaded 14 photos on Google and was publicly thanked by management for their "great review" and "wonderful experience." only a month ago. So I ask: if photos are truly not allowed here, why is enforcement only aimed at some of us? Why the inconsistency? And more importantly--where are the signs? None were visible. No policy posted. Just a sudden switch from shopping to being surveilled. Reviewers, take note: If you're documenting your experience, know that Commerce enforces its "rules" selectively. You may be ignored like the 50 reviewers before you--or you may get followed, photographed, and reminded you're not welcome to record your visit. P.S. - I'm not being paid for my reviews, nor do I have anything to gain from this. I just enjoy helping people find great places to spend their time and hard-earned money. But this place? This wasn't it and recommend it I do not.

It is such a simple bag but very difficult to find because the popular bags seem to be those with a pop of color or patterns. I just need a simple bag that I can pair with a variety of styles and finding such a bag is starting to feel like a major chore. If you are looking for that "stand out" bag for this season, you can definitely find it in this store because their selection was great One of the things I have noticed is that many of the designers are moving away from the soft and supple leathers in favor of a harder more structured leather which is not my preference. Although you are at a higher price point, much of what is being offered is going to be something that is made of quality material and fabrics. This is particularly true when looking at the men's selection. I was interested in some of their outerwear but found that they used more synthetics than natural materials. This just doesn't work for sweaters or outerwear because it doesn't hold its shape or wear well. There is nothing worse than a cheap looking sweater that really doesn't even keep you warm. I am only interested in cotton or wool options. Although they did have some cute items, I would love to see more fashion forward basics, long sweaters, great colors and extended sizes.
