Terrible customer service. We were told that they were down a seamstress due to an injury but said…read morethey could have our tent trailer zipper repaired by our camping trip which was two weeks away. After calling today to find out the status of our trailer we were told that they haven't even opened our trailer yet and it won't be fixed by Friday for our camping trip. I asked why they would tell us it would be done if they couldn't even open it by now, the receptionist then passed me to barb the manager who told me that they are 6-8 weeks behind schedule and its out fault because she never wanted to take our trailer, but good luck finding anyone else to do it. This woman was rude and unprofessional. I've since called jeune brothers and they have no problem helping us fix the zipper before our trip (she believes we can fix it ourselves and said she will talk me through it over the phone once I purchase the new pull). I will never give Pete's tent and awning my business again.

Leslie showed us their large assortment of exterior shades and the options of motorized and manual operation. Given the height of our shades (12 feet), we chose the motorized version, but needed to install an outdoor electrical outlet, which they organized for us. Their cost and time estimates for an install was also much better than two other competitors we contacted. Zack and his partner came on their designated time and installed our shades with care and excellence. You can tell that they take pride in their work and were careful with all of the surroundings, and cleaned up everything perfectly when they left. We would definitely use Eastside Awning again for any projects and highly recommend to anyone who wants a beautiful product at a reasonable price.

Terrible product, no quality control, poor customer service. Disappointed all around…read more Process took 5 months in total. Blinds arrived in the wrong size for one window & damaged for the other. Valences were the wrong colour for one of the blinds. First installer had dirty hands - fingerprints on the blinds and the walls. Cords cut improperly. Second attempt, blinds were the right size but the visible mechanisms were the wrong colour. Third installation attempt had to be made to fix everything. 2nd installer was friendly and did his best. Not a surprise, the salesperson passed us off to someone else. While it appeared to be that person's job to deal with issues she didn't seem to care much, glossed over the problems and blamed it on the manufacturer. Zero follow up from anyone once the job was complete and they took the full remaining balance off my credit card. 10% off for the 3 times I had to be at home for the installs would have gone a long way. Would not recommend this business.
