I have some experience in the building trades and was impressed by what I saw both in the quality of work and by the simple fact that unlike many Contractors/Subs these days, when Spane's crew got started, they didn't stop until the project was finished. In early 2025 I decided I wanted to build a 30'x32' shop at my house for my own use. I got bids from 5 different contractors and I decided on Spane for three main reasons: First, in my initial and subsequent meetings with Michelle, their designer and estimator, I learned she was very knowledgeable, personable, and very easy to work with. She took me through the entire design/build process from the beginning to the end, cheerfully answered my questions and put up with me changing my mind several times during the process. Because of her thoroughness, there were no surprises from start to finish. She made it easy. Second, Spane's bid came in the lowest, but I thought it was reasonable as I had done my own estimate of materials and labor based on current costs. (Unlike some of these Contractors around here who jack their bids up to try to make a years profit from a 2 month project...) Third, and most important, over the years I had seen for myself the quality of their work and at the end of my build, my new shop is exactly what I expected and exactly what I wanted. In today's world, Spane actually understands and pursues customer satisfaction and I can't recommend them highly enough.

At that time we did not realize that they had nailed the shingles through our gutter guards which voided the lifetime warranty on the gutter guards. We called Orlando's within the two-year warranty timeframe to come and remove the shingles with the nails in the guards and they wouldn't even come and look at what our complaint was to rectify it. They wanted to charge us to come out and do the repairs to what was clearly covered under our warranty. Very disappointing.

He kept promising a refund but never gave it, all I got was lies and excuses. The fence itself was fine at first but the construction methods were shoddy and it started to fall apart within a year. Despite making it clear that we are not interested, the invasive disruptions do not stop. This behavior is predatory and incredibly unprofessional.

Santiago and his crew did an amazing job on my project! I had some drainage issues along the back of my yard and decided to have a French drain and raised bed around the perimeter of my yard. These guys came in and dug out about a foot or more of the bad dirt, installed a drain and erected stone blocks for the raised bed and filled in with good quality soil and mulch. The end result looks awesome and I look forward to spending many nights in the back yard looking at how nice it is. The crew worked hard every day, showed up on time and were respectful of my property. Santiago did a great job putting the project together for me and I highly recommend him for all your landscaping needs.
