When I went into their showroom to see the different models of awning frame they clearly explained the differences and helped us make an informed choice given the functionality we sought as well as the aesthetic considerations. When they installed the awning and I later noticed the electrical wire was visible in an unattractive way coming off the roof, they even came back to find a way to hide it along the gutter, without complaint. We got quotes from a couple of other companies and their price was comparable for the same product. A high-quality awning is fairly pricey, but we are confident that we received an excellent awning, installed properly, that will last for years to come. We also feel certain that if we ever experienced any issues, they would come right out to fix them. We love the end result and highly recomment them!

I had my appointment with Superhawk Canopies in Marysville Washington today, to have my SnugTop…read morecanopy rear liftgate door skirt remounted, and also to replace the lock. Superhawk Canopies is one of only 3 SnugTop dealers in the Seattle area. But the proprietor, Gary, told me that the lock did not need to be replaced. Instead, he showed me how I was not locking it correctly (see photos). He even oiled it up to keep it lubed at no charge. Nevertheless, I asked him how much do I owe him for the lock that he special ordered for me. He said "nothing", telling me that he can resell it. Therefore, he only charged me $38.22 including tax to remount the door skirt, which took less than an hour. I previously had to have it held on with Gorilla Tape. (funky!) Gary also told me that he has been in business (I think) 39 years. And I can believe it as many businesses would have just gone ahead and replaced a perfectly good lock that I thought was defective. Hence, no mystery why I noticed award plaques for best SnugTop dealer for every year from 2010 to 2017 in their waiting room. Kudos to Gary, his wife Julianne, their two employees, and their two dogs Lily and Buddy, who helped keep me company while I was in the waiting room. BTW, there is a "help wanted" sign on their main office door as they wish to hire a third employee as of this writing (January 10, 2019).

I contacted the owner, Ante', who drove out in his fully equipped commercial vehicle to my business the same day I called him for a quote. He arrived at the exact time specified and brought samples for me to review. During the initial consultation, he wasn't rushed and took the time to explain the different types of products and how the UV blocking technology worked and how it helped block light while still providing visibility. He also used a very cool laser guided measuring tool that was a lot more accurate than the old fashioned plastic tape measure. I like supporting locally owned businesses and companies that are family owned. Ante' has been installing and cleaning blinds for over twenty years and is a true pleasure to work with throughout the process. His pricing is fair and honest. It's also a bonus to have the business owner do the installation. Ante' is extremely professional, has a fantastically positive attitude that is infectious and he communicates throughout the whole process. You can't go wrong with his service and expertise. We have received a lot of compliments on the new shades and it's helped our employees be more comfortable during this hot weather.
