Me having to wait 2 months after I issued a complaint and asked to be switched psychiatrist is unacceptable. I still haven't heard back from office manager(grievance) for my complaint. I the patient should have a say of who I wanted to be treated by and if situation arises. I the patient should have my needs met and not be treated as an enemy . If I don't advocate for myself then who will. I'm still giving this facility a low rating because I only was able to switch psychiatrist because I wrote a review through yelp. Yes I love my new psychiatrist Jenna Vo but the faculty n facility in Anaheim hills need to work better for their patients and not for themselves. There is a reason to why they already have a low rating from many patients. I just hope that they do make a change to their practices n procedures.

She has been prescribed benzodiazepines from a variety of her providers in the past. She states that she's had a Rx for them about 20 years now. The provider she saw from this office also had her on benzodiazepines, but recently moved out of the area. She refilled my mom's Rx for 60 days to bridge the gap of a provider change. My mom's first apt with her new provider was scheduled for late September via tele-health. No call! When she asked about it she was told that she had no appointment by reception & that she didn't pay her co-pay by billing. A new appointment was set & credit card number was provided. Again, no call!!! Again, she didn't pay her co-pay. Remember, they had the card # & my mom's authorization. B U T, it gets better! Billing tells her today that they won't let her speak with a provider until she pays what she owes. What does she owe? Nothing! She has already paid the out-of-pocket max, so there is/was no co-pay!! They cancelled 2 months in a row because of bad billing management. In an effort to avoid reports of elder abuse, a 'provider' called her today. If she wants to continue seeing them, he will prescribe her a new med. she should COLD TURKEY benzodiazepines that's she's taken 20 years. Please Google the consequences of that proposition. It's not good. I read their website, the CEO boasts the practice has won awards & they spearhead new treatments. I'm left wondering what award is given to providers who direct their patients/clients to do something that countless medical sources advise can cause seizures, delirium tremens (DT), catatonia, hallucinations, psychosis, suicide, & death?????? If you're looking for a new mental health provider, I encourage you to keep looking.

You can get appointments right away, but only do it if you know what you have. I scheduled a wellness exam and they tried to charge a co-pay. When I called them out, they did waive the fee and asked me to look for another doctor instead of acknowledging their mistake. I am not someone that comes to the doctors that often and this is obviously discouraging and adds to the mistrust of doctors.

When I first started seeing him, I was trying to ween off an especially difficult to ween off antidepressant. Joseph helped me with lowering the dosages and scheduling follow ups until I was finally able to get off them entirely. A few months later when my depression crept back and began to severely affect and disrupt my day to day life, I reached back out to Dr. Joseph. He prescribed me an antidepressant that had a profound effect on my wellbeing. I don't always have the best experience with doctors. I feel that sometimes doctors lose their empathy or prescribe medication all willy-nilly to treat a symptom rather than the whole. Throughout my time with Dr. Joseph, I felt that he took the time to listen to my concerns, and cared about improving my quality of life. He was incredibly knowledgeable in his craft and vigilant in finding the perfect dose. He took the time to explain the cons and benefits of different medicines and why he believed this one was the right one for me. I don't believe I would be here today if I hadn't received this quality of care from him and his staff. Neuro Wellness Spa in general has been an amazing company to work with. They were quick to get me started during the onboarding process so that I could see someone as soon as possible. I was assigned this…read moreoffice with my insurance group and from the first visit to my last straw interaction, this office did not practice Patient CARE.. they practiced I DONT CARE! The front desk staff is so uncaring. They do not know how to exercise basic humane reactions. You walk away from an appt not even have a result. They dont even submit referrals correctly It took me 6 or more months of calling weekly to get them to submit my cpap machine properly. Literally filled out the main referral for the mask only. Called called called and finally gave them a list of codes I received from the providing facility to give them myself cause they were tired of reaching out to parsas staff to correct My last straw.. was recently. I had a stroke and after release from hospital, I was told my primary doc office needs to refer me to cardiology for a heart monitor. I call them and explain I need Tiffany, the PA to refer me to cardiology. Of course they say.. you need an appt. I say not really she just needs to send a referral in so I can get my monitor to rule out Afib as a cause .. the very uncaring receptionist say.. well we can see you on the 11th. Im like.. its the 29th.. so you see waiting 2 weeks is not really good.. I just had a stroke! She says well, sorry parsa is booked and so is Tiffany. I said its an emergency. What's your protocol? She says there is none. I said please place me on hold and ask if she can fit in a tele health visit in the next day or so.. if she literally needs an appt it needs to be sooner. She refused to do that ReFUSED stating protocol. I said so you have NO EMERGENCY PROTOCOL? She said no.. 2 weeks pass and of course.. I jave now had 4 more mini strokes.. NOT Tia's literally brain damaging strokes.. and I get my appt.. so she can refer me to cardiology and ​I forget to ask for wprk paperwork.. so I called back within three days of that appt.. to get that paperwork and they tell me You need another appt. And it has to be in person. Not a telehealth. I said, no ma'am I just had an appt and this is part of it.. she said no.. I said please just email her and tell her I forgot to ask for that paperwork she said no again amd refused my request three more times before I told her she will indeed get a message to her and if I hear from her lips she needs an appt then we would go from there. Unbelievable how they treat people who need some care and compassion. Horrible place. Yes.. they called back and said, you need an appt. I will never return. I called my neurologist and they had the paperwork I needed emailed to me within 15 minutes! This office will not even call you to give you test results regarding a previous app.. without you paying another office copay. I have never experienced such blatant disrespect for people in all my life. I am a caring and kind person and this office made me feel like a speck of dirt under their shoes.

Call repeatedly to get them to fill my lab work for my first doctors visit as a routine but they…read morenever did and it's been several months and I still receive a bill from the lab saying I owe them hundreds of dollars. I call my health insurance company and they confirm that the doctors office never build it as a routine lab work so if that happens to you, make sure you call them and get them to provide a CPT code as well as a diagnosis code for routine lab work and make sure you call them every day to make sure it's done. Don't rely on the lab to tell you is done. You have to call the lab too and make sure that they got the submission from dr parsa's office.

I've become more confident, especially at work, and I've been able to recognize strengths in myself that I didn't always see before. Since my diagnosis, I've even gotten promoted, which is something I'm really proud of. I feel like I'm finally learning how to work with my brain instead of constantly fighting against it. By far the worst doctors I've ever seen …read more 1- she doesn't listen to you or retain ANY information you tell her so every time you see her she doesn't remember or even take notes or review notes from before so it's like she knows NOTHING about you each time you talk to her and have to explain things all over again endlessly with her 2- instead of listening and retaining ANYTHING you tell her about what you are and aren't comfortable with - instead she's just anxious to keep pushing certain medications on you as if maybe she's getting a kickback from them because she keeps pushing and suggesting the same ones over and over again even when you tell her over and over that you're uncomfortable with that medication or type of medication and even had bad reactions in the past from it and yer each time you speak to her she will continue to push it each time anyhow as if she doesn't remember you telling her no and why two weeks prior 3- she would keep telling me false information and her personal opinions on medication I was on or prescribed by my other primary doctors and trying to blame those or make me scared or paranoid on those medications making me scared and confused and worried then have to go back to those doctors and then they confirm what shiva is saying is false and to continue my medication needed to help me get healthy and better 4- she clearly just sits there and pushes her wrong opinions on you for the 15 min appt and doesn't care what you say or feel during the appt 5- Everytime I spoke to her I felt worse then before I saw her 6- she gave me one medication that I told her I had in the past that helped me , she gave me 10 pills 70 days ago and I still have 2 left . Each time that I spoke with her on each one of my appointments she offered me a refill, but I told her I didn't need one at that time because I still had some left. But when I notified them that I wanted to change Doctors because I was not comfortable with her they told me I could still get a refill since I was down to only two and I would need them and I couldn't see the new doctor for a month. So I called and asked for a few more just to make sure I had them so I can take them "as needed" or just have them in case I need them until I see the next doctor and even though she offered me refills several times she denied giving me a refill once she knew that I wasn't going to use her anymore and told me to just go ahead and go to the emergency room if I needed help. When she knows very well that the emergency room is not necessary for panic attacks. But the medication helps. It was basically her FU to me and retaliatory. Because she was mad that I was not going to want to use her anymore so she has decided that she was not going to give me a refill and basically told me to F off and go to the hospital if I needed help. Mind you that in 74 days of having the medication I only took eight. But she basically treated me as if I was some sort of pill seeker that just wanted more and more pills. When really in reality she knows very well that I'm just trying to make sure that I don't have to go to the hospital every single day and spend thousands of dollars at the hospital for panic attack attacks. She's very cruel and dismissive
