Over the weekend and into early this week a tooth she was having trouble with became very painful. Our current dentist, could not do anything until mid December. I researched emergency dental care and found Raynor. Patty answered the phone and was so pleasant and helpful. Patty conferred with one of the dentists, Dr. Leora Hilbert, and they were able to get my wife in later that day. Amazing! We arrived in early afternoon and met Jill who kept me informed of what was happening while my wife went with one of the hygienists to prepare for the extraction. While not pleasant, the extraction went well and my wife was thrilled with Dr. Leora and her wonderful personality & easy going nature as well as the hygienists. All in all we are very impressed with Raynor so much so we are moving both our dental care to Raynor. Our thanks to everyone at Raynor who played a part in getting my wife's issue resolved so quickly and in such a friendly and compassionate manner!

His first response to the problem was to tell me to take something like Motrin and call in two weeks. After seeing an oral surgeon and being properly treated for a jaw infection at the injection site, he refused to accept any responsibility, sending me a letter that said I was no longer his patient. As others have said, his staff is really nice and the office is modern but I can't respect a doctor that will not take ownership of their mistakes. Also, be prepared to pay $100 if you miss an appointment.

We made appointments with Hastings based on recommendations we had received. To be objective, it seemed that this dental facility was state of the art, they seemed to have the latest and greatest equipment. The staff, especially the hygienists and assistants were very nice and professional. They were on top of making sure you were always comfortable. What really turned me off (more like pissed me off) was the upsell along with the sales pressure that the woman up front who handled the scheduling. They would seat you with her as you were exiting and she would hit you up with additional procedures that were very costly and certain unaffordable. I tried to explain to them that I had been out of work, and did not have dental insurance to pay for a $1400 under gum cleaning. They eventually cam back with a procedure using a different piece of equipment for around 1/4 of the price, but still insisted I would require the original $1400 procedure within a few months. Well, all the time I am thinking that my dentist in CT had never come up with all this baloney. Meanwhile, my wife get's told that all her fillings needed to be replaced. She questioned this diagnosis and guess what happened? They sent us a notice in the mail firing us as their patients because we did not subscribe to their treatments. Give me a break!!! I'll tell you what, my guess is this dentist needed to turn in his Mercedes for the new Bently that's coming out. I guess he doesn't realize that dental health care is not the same as selling used cars. I do not recommend this practice as I feel they have very low regard for their customers and their customer's financial situations, they just want to soak you or your insurance for all that they can get.

In addition, I'm not convinced all their personnel are fully trained. The front office staff/hygienists are friendly. No issues there. However, last year I was encouraged to have a crown put in. The procedure was done in one appointment. After moving away and finding another dentist this year, it was revealed in a subsequent exam that the Perry crown was badly botched. (See attached exam image.) The crown edges were not fitted/cemented thoroughly, allowing for food substances to collect in the gaps. The crown now needs to be replaced, and repair work has to be done on that tooth. My partner was also encourage to have a crown put in due to a hairline fissure in her molar. Upon review at out current dentist, no fissure was noted and no crown was recommended.

I've been going to Dr. Sean Drower for several years now. For the first year and a half or so, I…read morewas very pleased with my experience. Dr. Drower is gentle and friendly and his staff is (was) pleasant as well. Suddenly, I noticed that there was / is a huge turnover rate among his staff (red flag) and there is always someone I have never seen before who looks at my teeth. The major reason I'm giving Dr. Drower a one star review is because for the past year and a half or two I literally have not seen Dr. Drower in person. I get my teeth cleaned three times a year. Dr. Drower does not work on Fridays, and for the past 1 1/2 to 2 years, the staff schedules me on Dr. Drower's day off. Also, there was one time that Dr. Drower was in the office working when I had my dental appointment. My dental hygienist was concerned about what she found on my x-ray but Dr. Drower refused to take a look at my x-ray, even though it showed a possible cavity; in my opinion this borders on malpractice. Sadly, I cannot recommend Dr. Drower to anyone. His practice has gone downhill since I first started going. I'm looking for another dentist, hopefully one who will actually look at my x-rays and will provide dental care for my teeth.
