Great experience start to finish , professional and friendly. I've noticed a major difference in the interior heat of my truck when I get out of work, the tinting that was added has made my truck has helped keep it cooler in the SC sun. Reducing sun glare and headlights without restricting my vision. Looking for a great place to get your windows tinted look no further. read more

I shopped around to at least 6 other tint places before coming to Guardian Window Tinting. From the minute I started to talk to Gary the store manager I was sold. I didn't get the sales pressure or we are the best. What I got was a genuine conversation. He told me about the laws that others didn't. He recommended what he felt that would be best for my vehicle. Not the most expensive film that they carry but what he'd get if it were his car. They weren't the cheapest place I visited but how he treated me & was honest and very knowledgeable about tinting.so I decided to have them do the tinting. I am more than happy & would recommend them to anyone who is looking to get their windows tinted. Just want to say thank you to Gary & the crew at Guardian Window Tinting! Forgot to say the gave me a military discount! read more

I just went to website filled out info...someone called right away to make appointment. Thanks for a perfect tint. read more

Great service, quality superior to other tints I feel I good great value Customer care was top notch

We have had 2 of our SUVs windows done here. Each time we called to make an appointment they got us in very quickly. They worked with us when we couldn't pick up until after hours and they got our other vehicle done very quickly when I had to wait for it another day. Gary at the front desk is super friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend them! read more

Simply the best shop to install Xpel Plastic Protective Film PPF. Took my Tesla to this shop for a PPF wrap on the front facing surfaces. I also got them to tint the 2 front windows. It's been almost 2 years since we got it done and the car still looks new. The installer was very skilled and the car looked perfect upon (very) close examination. I highly recommend this product and shop. These are THE PROFESSIONALS you are looking for. The price was surprisingly modest for such good quality work. Hats off to Guardian! read more

I brought my brand new 2019 Mustang GT/CS in for full window tint. Guardian was highly recommended and after speaking to them for just a short while I understood why. Friendly and professional, they explained my options based on what I was looking for. I went with Black Ceramic 30 on the side and back (legal in SC) and Air Ceramic 80 for the windshield. The work was done in a timely manner and the end result was excellent. Pricing was very reasonable for the work done. Now I did have a small issue. A few days after the work was done I noticed a couple of specks in the rear window (these things do happen). I texted Jason on a Saturday and he got back to me immediately. He apologized and asked me to bring the car in first thing Monday morning. They redid the window and all is well. Nicely handled. read more

Very quick and did an amazing job!! Highly recommend. Great customer service and very quality work

We had our condo windows tinted by Guardian and are thrilled with the result. Tyler and Naheen were very professional, completed the job in less than a day, and cleaned up before they left. We would not hesitate to recommend Guardian for someone that needs sun protection for their furnishing and floors. The views out our windows are clear and definitely reduced glare from the sun. read more

Yelp states business has 100% response within 10 minutes to a quote request. I requested 2 quotes, last night and then today without any response. So I attempted to call business 2 times. No answer. I am not sure what their business practices were in the past but as far as I am concerned they leave a lot to be desired. -Not a fan. read more

They did such a great job on my window tint, extremely professional, high quality and they make sure you are 100% satisfied with everything.

Jason and his staff are exceptional at what they do. They are very knowledgeable about window tinting and have done awesome tint work on several of my vehicles. I've owned many cars, in many states, and by far this has been the best Purchased another vehicle and again I only trusted Jason and his team. I have never felt the need to endorse a product or service that I have received, but I had an incredible experience with a local business yesterday and wanted to share. Guardian Security Films provides window tinting for homes, businesses, and vehicles, and is owned/operated by Jason Carr, who lives and works in the Myrtle Beach area and his children attend our schools. I do not know him personally, but nevertheless the quality of his product and his customer service went above and beyond and I felt the need to share. He has been in the business for over ten years and mainly applies tints for large businesses, including local hospitals, malls, and large office buildings, but he also does vehicles and homes. He is the only business in our area that uses Huper Optic window films, which are superior to 3M and the reason I contacted Jason in the first place having researched different window tints on my own and deciding on that product. Jason tinted all of the windows on my Honda Fit and they look amazing! I could not be happier! I want to encourage anyone considering window treatments for their office, vehicle, or home to give him a call. You will not be disappointed with the level of service that he provides! read more

Extremely helpful, knowledgeable and easy to work with! I would recommend everyone who is looking for a window tinting to contact this business! My car looks amazing and I couldn't be happier! read more

Outstanding job! These are the guys you want to go to when you want your car tinted, they do great work. Although their shop is a little 'hole in the wall' place on Seaboard, don't be scared off. I was hesitant to take it to them because of that reason but they proved me wrong! Also, do yourselves a favor, DO NOT go to Tint Masters and have any work done to your car there even though they have a nice looking, 'legitimate' shop. Not worth it! They do shitty work. read more

Best, service on the beach! these guys are on point and on time using only the best materials.

Great bunch of guys that pay attention to detail. I send all my customers to Guardian they have the high end tint to keep the heat out.

I have used several different tinting companies with the many vehicles I have had and I will say I have learned you get what you pay for. Guardian Security Window Tinting is by far, the BEST place you can go for any type of tinting! I have now brought two cars to Jason and each time he has exceeded my expectations!! I read all reviews before I go anywhere or buy anything as I am very particular about everything. So 2 years ago when I was looking to tint my newly purchased SUV, I came across Guardian Security Window Tinting and boy am I glad I did! Jason did such an amazing job! I constantly received so many compliments on how great the tint looked. Not to mention how wonderful it was inside without the sun coming in as bright which also helped keep it cooler inside! I recently traded that SUV in for a newer one and even the dealership loved the tint so much they wanted it to remain on for reselling the car. I've owned the new SUV for 2 weeks and already had Jason tint it, once again it's absolutely perfect! Jason, I can't thank you enough for always doing such an awesome job! I'll see you with the next car!! read more
