If you want to live somewhere for a full year and NEVER clean the place, leave dog hair and dog food all around - even though it states in your lease that there are to be no pets, leave food in the fridge, leave crap all over the floor, spill nail polish on the carpet, and move out without having to be responsible for any of it - then rent through NCDG Property Management! This is what happened to us as property owners, using NCDG Property Management. We were contacted constantly with maintenance issues, some of which were valid, but many of which were not. Some were due to damage caused by the tenant, which she was never held responsible for. Several were issues which the lease, drawn up by NCDG, stated were the responsibility of the tenant. We had to repeatedly tell them what was stated in their own lease. Oftentimes, we would have a conversation with one member of the maintenance department, and come to some resolution, only to be contacted by another member of the department about the same issue, after it had already been resolved. Communication was absolutely pathetic. Two weeks after the tenant moved out, we had not yet received the disbursement of the last month's rent they had paid. We inquired with several of NCDG's team members about this, as well as how the security deposit would be utilized, but we got different stories from each person, none of which actually answered our questions. We ultimately were passed to a gentleman who, according to their website, is the CFO. After a week of no response and multiple requests for an answer, he finally responded, and tried to say that the last month's rent paid by the tenant was actually their security deposit which had been applied to our account. I HAD TO EXPLAIN TO HIM (the CFO????) THAT IS WAS INACCURATE. He then retracted his statement and acknowledged that I was correct. An attempt to outwardly steal our money? I guess we'll never know. After the tenant had moved out, leaving the condo in utter disrepair, NCDG sent their "Vendor" to inspect the unit and take photos. The maintenance department at NCDG then compared the move-in photos to the move-out photos and determined that the tenant had caused over $2800 in damages. We agreed to pay for $1495 of repairs to bring the unit to move-in condition, but only after being assured that we would at least be reimbursed the security deposit amount of $1450. We noticed several odd credits and debits on our online account ledger, and inquired multiple times with no response as to what they meant. The final balance somehow ended up at less that $800 to be disbursed to us. When we finally reached someone by phone, we were told that the tenant had disputed the damage charges, and that NCDG, WITHOUT ANY CONVERSATION OR QUESTION, reduced the amount they owed from over $2800 to less than $800. The $2800 number was THEIR determination, based on photos that THEY themselves had taken. We had absolutely no knowledge of this taking place until we hunted them down for an explanation. When we expressed our concern with all of this, we were told that the matter was final and our account was closed. We could not be more dissatisfied with the job that NCDG did representing us as property owners. It is mind-boggling to us that they continue to stay in business. In case all the other atrocious reviews aren't enough for you to run as far as you can from them, perhaps this review will help you make up your mind.

I would not recommend living in properties managed by this company…read more One of the biggest issues has been the lack of communication from management. Residents are provided with email addresses and contact information, yet messages often go unanswered for extended periods of time, if they receive a response at all. It is frustrating to have questions about your apartment, lease, maintenance, or billing and struggle to get clear answers from anyone. There also appears to be a high turnover of leasing and management staff. Just as residents become familiar with one person, they seem to leave, making it difficult to build continuity or know who is responsible for addressing concerns. In addition, residents are regularly faced with new fees, policy changes, and charges that were not major factors when deciding to move into the building. The advertised rent does not always reflect the actual cost of living here once various fees are added. The repeated fire alarm issues have also been disruptive. Frequent alarms create unnecessary stress for residents and raise concerns about how seriously alarms will be treated in the event of a real emergency. The building itself looks nice, but appearance alone does not make up for poor communication, inconsistent management, ongoing disruptions, and increasing costs. Based on my experience, I would not choose to live here again.

Two months ago Which would of Been February 1st he agreed to let me break my lease without penalty. He says now since he couldn't rent the place out he wants to keep my deposit BECAUSE OF THE Coronavirus. Wow really I gave you a 60 day Notice I was leaving because I found another job in Lansing. Paul agreed now u would take advantage of the Coronavirus crisis. I will gracefully move instead of laying here and not pay u rent. If my deposit of 800.00 will satisfy you all well but I will explain to the people how you are and not to take your word or deal with you . These people Managed my rental has made many mistakes but I road with the punches. Horrible! As much stress and anxiety as this "professional" company has caused me, I cannot be more relieved to be done with them. Save yourself and your finances, do not even consider using this company. The owner himself cannot even take a second out of his day to respond to you. Horrible customer service and lack of concern for you, your property and your finances. Hope they end up getting sued right out of business. What goes around comes around, I just hope I end up hearing about what comes around to them. John Collins his son Willam an the Secretary are good people..
