Holy crap! This wasn't our first visit and the food (especially the chilis rellanos) is wonderful, but today was the last time I am forgotten about. The server was quick to bring drinks and chips, but after an hour waiting after our order and watching tables that came in after us get food and check out, it was time to go. Even when we asked after an hour, we were being asked to wait another 15-20 minutes. Really? This wasn't the first time we've had long waits, but usually it was 5 minutes to get a fork after the food, drinks, etc. So, if you literally have all day then you'll love this place. This was an everyday Tex-Mex restaurant in Nacagdoches. We had a large party and ended up sitting at two different tables. Our service wasn't the greatest, but we got everything we needed. The large sweet and fruity frozen margaritas seemed to be a hit. The food took some time to arrive and I didn't quite get my Tex-mex fix. I had a ground beef burrito covered in a cheese sauce. This burrito didn't feel or taste very Tex-mex and I was slightly disappointed. The menu provided several different entrees and combination plates. Ok, the place is big plenty of places to sit. The Bartender was pretty good, drinks good. Server was ok he knew the menu. So I ordered enchiladas with cheese rice n beans. Wife had tacos al carbon. Well food was ummm so so, not a lot of flavor and very pricey $$$. Save your $$$, there are other places better, Taco Bell is better! I like Mexican food but not impressed by this place. It's close to SFA but again Taco Bell is down the street cheaper. read more

We were looked at weird when we requested a booth by the hostesses. We waited for our food for an hour and 15 minutes and when it finally came out it was cold like it had been sitting there so I'm not sure what we were waiting on. Wouldn't recommend and won't be back! read more

Food was authentic Mexican. Unlike most Mexican restaurants in Texas it was not entirely Tex-Mex. We had street tacos and carnitas, very tasty. Our waiter was excellent and attentive. Decorations were very much like an American type Mexican restaurant. 5 stars for taste and service. read more

I didn't recognize the name, but remembered the building when I walked in. Pretty rundown looking place. Service was good, but food was mediocre at best. I ordered a pretty simple Tex-Mex plate: taco, cheese enchilada, chili relleno. Was covered in onions and melted cheese (a no-go for me). We were there on a fairly busy Friday. There was a wait for a table, while we waited I noticed several customers wandering around looking for silverware, napkins or to go boxes. I thought it strange but we stayed and got a table after 30 minutes. Then we sat and waited 20-30 minutes eventually ordered then in 30 minutes got our food but no silverware so I became one of those people wandering around. This third iteration of Mexican restaurants in this location seems to be a winner! The food selection is wide with some unusual twists (I had the Chiles Rellenos, which had pomegranate seeds sprinkled on top-- different AND delicious!). The drink menu is extensive, as well, and boasts some different takes on old favorites. Our server was sweet and attentive (she wore an "invisible" head set that allowed her to ask the bar a quick question! Kind of cool!), and the service was quick and professional. Only one complaint-- the young host seated us near a (very loud!) party, which made visiting a challenge-- the ambience and arrangement of the restaurant might need some "tweaking"). This is an adequate Mexican restaurant. The service was prompt, and the food arrived quickly. The food tasted very good. I ordered beef fajitas. I expected the fajitas to look as good as what the other restaurants in town were serving. Unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed. If this establishment wants to survive in this town, their fajitas need to look at least as good as the competition (hence my rating). read more

The Chile rellenos were not good on this visit. They do not roast and peel so it leaves it tough. I always expect a red sauce on top, but this is all cheese. Tasted ok. Good service. read more

The carne asada street tacos on flour tortillas are AMAZING! The salsa and guacamole are so good as well!
