Menu has many items including some good drinks, as you get seated you get complimentary chips and salsa which they refill as you like, the good part is that you can ask for a more spicier salsa. We had ordered the house margarita, there is a generous amount of alcohol in there that will give you a buzz. We ordered the southwestern spring rolls for an appetizer it was decent. For the main course we got an Azteca special and a Chicken quesadilla. In fact we got two Azteca Specials one without beef and shrimp. Food comes out quick, and the waiter checked on us often. The food was decent and was to the liking. Only thing is that the quesadilla was not looking good it had the chicken coming out like they just didn't press it down. All in all a good experience,

They both had a weird, icky oily taste to them. Like a deep-fat fryer taste (neither of these dishes should be deep-fat fried). I consider myself a well-seasoned consumer of both of these dishes, having lived in the west and southwest. Just not impressed. May be great for the undiscerning who just want to get filled up (these dishes will do that), but for me, it was disappointing enough to never go back. I ordered takeout and the checkout person was super friendly and grateful for my business. So, if that's enough for you -- please, by all means try them out. I just wish they were a place I could enjoy going back to in this small town. Dang.

My son and I stopped in for dinner. I had the California burrito with beef and added cheese, and he had three beef street tacos. First, the portions were very generous. My burrito was huge--about the size of a Chipotle burrito--and the tacos were well filled. No complaints at all about the amount of food. Unfortunately, the preparation and flavor were where things fell short for us. Parts of the tortillas were cool, and the shredded cheese I added to my burrito was still basically unmelted inside. The California burrito comes with french fries in it, which was new to me, but the fries were also cold and ended up feeling more like filler than something that added much flavor or texture. My son had a similar reaction to the tacos. The flour tortillas weren't really warm and were pretty bland, and his first assessment was simply, "mid." Teenager terminology aside, I understood what he meant. Neither of us thought the food was bad; it just didn't have the flavor or freshness we were hoping for. For some price context, our check was about $39.20 including tax for the burrito, three tacos, a water and a Jarritos. I tipped 20%, bringing the final total to $47.05. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table on metal trays, so it's primarily a counter-service setup. At that price, I think getting everything out hot and putting a little more flavor into the food would have made a huge difference. I actually regret not saying something while we were there about the cold fries and tortillas because it would have given them an opportunity to fix it. I just hate sending food back...The restaurant was also very quiet at the time--just us and one other couple looking at the menu--so maybe we simply caught them on an off night. I'm still going to give Bueno another shot and try something different. I really do want this place to be successful, especially having another option like this close to home. There's a good foundation here: the portions are generous, the concept is good, and a few relatively small improvements in temperature, preparation and flavor could have made our experience completely different. For this visit, though, I have to rate it based on what we were served. I was disappointed, but I'm hoping our next visit gives me a reason to update this review.
