After seeing Dr. Gu many times, I was changed to a new doctor within his office. The new chiropractor is nice - but is not as experienced or skilled as Dr. Gu. He used his "sling" on me, which actually fucked up my neck. His methods are less exact and precise. I find him sort of pushing and pulling on areas of my back or legs without really trying to pinpoint an area. I have stopped seeing Dr. Gu as a result. I wont change the rating as Dr. Gu is a 5-star doctor. But new guy is maybe a 2-star or 3-star at best. If you can see Dr. Gr, and only him, then its worth it. If you see another doctor, then its not worth going. read more

I would give this place ten stars if I could. I waited awhile to write this review because I wanted to provide the most accurate review as much as possible. It's been a few months since I have been getting treatment from Dr. Gu. I was rear-ended by a hit and run driver few months ago and I was badly in pain. I explained to Dr. Gu how much pain I have on my back and shoulders since my vehicle was hit pretty hard by the hit and run driver. After getting a X-ray, he was able to pin -point my issues with my back & shoulders and started my treatment. It's only been a few months and I'm actually getting better. Dr. Gu is not just an ordinary doctor who just throws you to an automated massage machine. He really goes out of his way for you to heal which I'm actually healing. Dr. Gu is extremely knowledgeable and has been very informative in different approaches we could take to recover efficiently. I realized it's hard to find a great chiropractor and I highly recommend Dr. Gu after seeing many different chiropractors throughout my life. Alright so here's my story. On October of 2017 my friend and I got into a car accident (rear ended) by some genius who happen to text while driving 45 mph on a traffic. We happen to injure our lower back pretty bad (my friend went to the ER) and our lawyer sent us to some random chiropractor office in Gardena which looked really sketchy and dirty. Not to mention their service sucked. So we made a complaint to our lawyer and he ended up sending us to Gu chiropractor for about good 4 to 5 months. Well to start it off, this place is clean. I mean it's so damn clean. I felt like I was making this place dirty by sitting on their chair... it's that clean. Second their service is extremely kind (owned by a Mr and Mrs Gu), treated me like a family giving me tips on how to improve my back, going on details about my injury and how to avoid damaging and re-injuring from everyday activities. Lastly, I've been to different chiropractors and this place had more unique and updated treatment tech and procedures. Chiropractic treatment has been amazing. I few months ago, I started marathon training. My body goes through a lot and had a lot of unexpected issues.  I was doing everything from long distance training to strength training.  I would get banged up every once in a while with different pains that just felt like getting-old pains.  My first time going to Dr Gu, he was able to troubleshoot and do some simple adjustments to fix it better then I thought I could.   Just recently I pulled my back training for a competition the following Saturday.  I did not think I would be able to compete.  I went to him that Friday and he said my back has spasms and had knots.  He worked them out and the following day I competed without any issues.
