IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE 10 STARS I WOULD...THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE...he is a liar and a scam and he abused my dog Never use the company #gtaworkingdogs. Anthony Wendt and @neishastates took my dog on May 25, 2017 into his care for an board train. The contract stated he would have her three to six weeks. I contacted him regularly for progress reports and heard nothing for days. When he did contact me back he would tell me "Don't worry about this bitch, worry about taking care of your kids." I continued to contact him and I was told to "enjoy my vacation". When my husband contacted him to see the dog as we became suspicious we were given a phone number to call him which was always directed to voicemail that was not yet set up. When we called his receptionist @Danielle Balon we were told "All dog training inquires and needs will be directed at Anthony only moving forward. You can reach him at (phone number)" We attempted to contact that number and only received a voicemail service that was no initiated. On July 18th, 2017 #gtaworkingdogs @gtaworkingdogs posted a picture of a male puppy from a new litter. I had a "friend" contact him via text message regarding his new litter of puppies when asked to see pictures of the mother with the puppies etc this person ONLY received 20 questions back such as "How did you get my information" "Who told you about my puppies" and then did not speak to her again regarding the puppies. On July 30th, 2017 I contacted him frustrated with the lack of professionalism and the fact that he still had my dog and I had yet to see a picture posted instagram as stated in my contract that he would do with respect to her training progress. He told me he had been in a car accident and that he was a little slower. That summer is usually a busier time for him. My dog was skidish and that he needed to spend more time socializing her (which was very untrue.) He reassured me she would be done soon. Then on August 19, 2017 i received a call from @Danielle Balon stating she was returning my dog. There was NO INTENTION ON REINTEGRATION OR INTRODUCTION to my new baby as stated in the contract. They just dropped off my 2 year old rotti, sad and depressed and visibly postpartum. After taking my pup to the vest and spending an obscene amount of money it was determined she was bit by another dog and has a bad infection, she was postpartum, has colitis and is infested with fleas. Anthony Wendt took my dog and bred her. Did not take any time to train her. She is now depressed as the vet said those pups would only be approximately 4 weeks old and are very young to be taking off the teet of the mother and that she is this way because she is missing her babies. (I have the documents from 2 vets). read more

If you are looking to train your dog, I highly recommend GTA Working Dogs. I actually bought my Rottweiler as a puppy from Anthony a little over 2 years ago, and since then have always been complimented on how well bred my dog looks. I have been so happy with my dog, Logan, that once I found out GTA Working Dogs (Anthony) offers training, I had to try it. I have been doing basic obedience with Anthony for about 2 months now and I have to say that I am thoroughly pleased with my Logan's progress. I have a fairly large Rottweiler that is not easy for someone of my size to handle, but Anthony made it possible. In just a couple of weeks I saw a complete change in Logan's behaviour. He not only taught me how to correct my dog, but how to be the pack leader Logan needs. Not only that, but Anthony went the extra mile and helped me with my dogs weight, which I didn't realize was an issue. I have worked with previous trainers, none of which are like GTA Working Dogs. Anthony puts dogs in real life situations, with real life distractions, which prepares both the dog and the handler for pretty much anything and everything. I often get complimented on how "well behaved my dog is for a Rottweiler," and it's all due to the right training. Although he does group training, he takes the time to talk to you personally and fix individual issues. GTA Working Dogs helped me fix problems I didn't even know I had, and for that I can say that Anthony really does train for his love of dogs. I have been working with Anthony for the last 6 months, we have completed on leash and are working through off leash and personal protection training. Anthony's passion and commitment is undeniable, he provides guidance and direction that is clear and easy to understand. One of the things that really sets Anthony apart from other trainers and programs I had seen is that he doesn't have a set amount of classes until the dog is considered 'finished'. You work until Anthony has seen that you and your dog are ready to move into the next level of training. I respect individuals that hold others accountable, and he definitely does when it comes to your homework. It is so important to spend time every day working with your dog on his obedience! I never thought that I would have the bond with my dog that I have achieved by using the GTA Working Dogs method, I trust my dog in any situation and I know he has my back and I have his. I started training my dog with Anthony earlier this year and his techniques are very effective! I can take my dog for walk anywhere without having to worry about him pulling me or acting up when he sees other dogs or people. My family members have been impressed with my dog's improvements when taking him for a walk and around visitors. Any questions I have about training or about dogs in general, I can call/text Anthony and he answers without hesitation. I bought a puppy from GTA Working Dogs and I now train her and my other dogs with him and I couldn't be happier. From Day 1 Anthony was very helpful and answered all of my questions even months after I broght my puppy home. She is an amazing, social dog with no issues. My male is now a trained personal protection dog and has come to my rescue a couple of times. I know 100% that my dog will protect me for real if he needs to. I recommend GTA Working dogs to all my friends and family. Anyone who has had a Dog trained by him or bought a puppy from him has been completely satisfied and happy. Take other reviews with a gain of salt, if a puppy got sick 3 months after purchase you have to wonder if the new owner even went to get the dog it's shots. read more

Anthony was referred to us by a close friend as we have a 140lb Cane Corso and the two previous trainers we tried had no success what so ever. We boarded Scooby with Anthony for four weeks so he could work with him one on one and now my wife and I attend weekly classes with Anthony and a full group of dogs. I can only say that he has one of the most unique methods of training we've experienced. His approach of putting owners and dogs in real life situations is second to none as personally I believe that training a dog is in store, or a church hall achieves poor results and does not prepare your dog for the real world. Ive been with GTA Working Dogs for a couple months now and my 8 month old dutch shepherd is doing great and excelling at a fast rate. Anthony is a great trainer easy to work with and real knowledgable when it comes to K-9s. He has the dogs in a more street environment instead of a indoor facility which is where the training matters most.The prices are fair and you get a life time contract so its up to you how fast you wanna learn. Starting working with Anthony to train my Doberman when he was 2 years old. My dog was excited and full of energy and would never recall if he got loose outside. After completing basic obedience and off leash training I have a dog that I never thought was possible. He is on point for every command and people are amazed. No dog is to old to train and Anthony's method is guaranteed results if you put in work. Gta working dogs did an amazing job with my dog he's much better behaved obeys commands and has comepletely stopped pulling on the leash, I have boarded with them in the past and have nothing but good things to say! I had to leave town late at night called every boarder I could find they all said no finally I called gta working dogs and he not only took my dog but came and picked him up within the half hour! I bought my presa over a year ago, these dogs are known to be a tough breed for even the most experienced handler. After just a few short sessions with anthony I could not believe it was the same dog. I credit anthonys knowledge patience and customized training techniques to the outstanding working dog and family pet I now have.
