They delayed one of my job sites for days, and then had the audacity to show up late on a Saturday afternoon with zero intention of actually doing the work. A kid named Andy, who introduced himself as "THE OWNER," walked in with a terrible attitude, disrespecting everyone on-site and throwing out every excuse imaginable for why he couldn't handle a JOB THAT WAS 100% READY FOR HIM! It was clear this kid had better things to do on a Saturday night than his actual job. We even offered manpower, right there and ready to assist, but he couldn't leave fast enough. Instead, he wasted our time giving life lessons to experienced professionals twice his age, rambling about him and his buddies like anyone cared. I've been in this industry longer than this kid's been alive, yet he has the nerve to claim his time is worth $600/hr. Meanwhile, I've got far more skilled and educated workers making $20/hr, getting the job done without the drama. The next business day, a real contractor came in, took care of everything with zero issues or nonsense--proving just how unprofessional these guys are. And the cherry on top? They sent us an INVOICE FOR $750, followed by relentless calls from a COLLECTION AGENCY. Turns out, they sneakily slip in an online form that they call a "contract" when you click it to book an appointment. People like this are a disgrace to the industry and won't last long. I hired the father son duo about a month ago and they seemed like genuine people. I got a few…read morequotes and they offered the best price and seemed like honest people. After having completed the patio deck I had paid them, however the had forgotten to install the lights and some of the wood piece were falling apart and chipping within a few days of installation. I took out a line of credit thinking this would be a good investment but now I regret it. They never provided me a contract/paperwork, nothing. I hired them also because of the great reviews. I have two young kids which is the main reason I get a gated deck and now they can't every play on it because it's falling apart. If you plan on hiring them, get a written documents or something. I've been calling them everyday and no response. They don't care to call back or even message. Karma, that's all I can say. I will also contact a lawyer to see what my options are since I have proof of payment and some previous messages.
