This particular location needs to be avoided at all costs. I had reserved a 5'x8' trailer. Upon…read morearriving to pick up the trailer I was informed by the clerk that there was a flag on my reservation and I needed to call uhaul. I found out that they wouldn't rent to me because of a storage unit debt I supposedly incurred years ago. So we attempted to put the rental in my girlfriend's name. They wouldn't rent to her either because she was now "associated" with me. She wasn't even around when I supposedly incurred the debt. But they refused to rent to her. Naturally, I became angry and I cursed. However, I never threatened anyone nor did I destroy any property. We left the store to sit in my truck to figure out where we could rent a trailer. The "manager" of the store showed up at this point. He pulled in driving a uhaul pick up truck. Parked. Ran inside. Then came barreling out toward me, my girlfriend, and my truck. He started shouting at me to get out of my truck so he could kick my ass. He was angry that I had told him over the phone to kiss my ass. Apparently he doesn't know the difference between kick & kiss. No matter what, don't let uhaul know you know me (Rick Lee) because you will be guilty by association & therefore they won't rent to you. I've told 20+ people so far. All have sworn not to rent from uhaul or at least not to mention my name. And the manager at Dave's Minit Mart will want to kick your ass if you even mention my name.
