Hope you guys can shine some light with my phenix warranty replace rod. It have been more than 1 month just going back and forth with customer service. Last week I was told my rod replacement is complete and labeled getting print and ship out. Today I called and was told rod it is out of stock but online still shows in stock and selling. Im getting the run around. I feel like phenix should have a better customer service. Love the rods but warranty process is drawing me away. What a joke of a company!!! I bought a Hawk Crawler Cart and was missing some hardware so i called customer service to see about getting it sent to me. They opened a claim, July 26, 2024, and determined that they would send me a whole replacement cart and emailed me to destroy the other which i did. As of today, September 16, 2024, I still have not received the new cart. I keep calling customer service and getting the same overseas call center and the same scripted responses. They tell me the delay is because of "low stock" that it is not shipping but it is "in stock" so just ship it. You can not talk to a supervisor or manager, but they are supposed to call you back but never do. I bought this in plenty of time for a hunting trip and not I still do not have a game cart. I should have just did the return through Amazon instead of contacting the manufacturer. Ordered though Amazon but shipped through Midwest USA be I did not have to pay the $50 shipping fee by going directly through Midway USA. read more

I did a review on the Stealthcam website for these batteries and my review is gone. Trying again to warn others of order issues. I ordered the battery pack on September 20th expecting to have these batteries before opening day of archery season. It said 5 to 7 day delivery. I contacted Stealthcam on September 25th and they said they were seeing it was shipping the next day. I called back on September 26th and they said it had not shipped so I requested a refund. She told me an amount of refund and it was less than I paid. I asked why and they said they could not refund tax. I've never heard of this before. I agreed to the refund thinking my order was canceled and a refund was coming. I called back on October 2nd because I hadn't seen a refund and they told me it was being delivered that by 3pm but they did not show up. At this point I entered the 1 star review with all of this info. On October 3rd I received a call from customer service and they agreed to refund full amount including the tax and it would take 21 days. A little while later they called back again stating it was too late to cancel because it was already shipped. My order online still showed awaiting shipment. They sent me an email with a return label once it shows up so I can return them. My order showed up last night on October 7th. It still shows awaiting shipment on the website. I never received a tracking number. This is so unprofessional. I am too scared to send them back with the return label because I feel like I will never get my money back. I'll take my chances on selling them to recover some of my money. I will not buy anything else from this company and do not recommend them. They are filled with lies as many others have said here. I just wish I would have checked for reviews on other sites besides Stealthcam before I made the purchase. read more

They have went to a mesh seat which wears out in about 3 years even taking them down during the off season. The rest of the stand is metal and like new. I have several StealthCam trail cameras... different models, purchased at different times. Most have had to be replaced within the warranty period. Those that have become defective after the warranty period, GSM has offered to replace it with another item at half price. Nice! Recently, I have had a huge problem contacting them for customer service. Sometimes when you call, they give an option for a call back. Other times not. Yesterday I had 2 calls to customer service that lasted 30 minutes and 45 minutes, without ever getting to a customer service representative. Totally unacceptable! I also sent a message to them through the "Contact Us" on their website, asking for someone to call me. I still have not been contacted. While products have been great, service and policies are horrible. I placed an order for some Wildgame Innovation trail cameras based on feedback from a representative stating they had a cable lock location on them. I wanted to ensure my investment (8 cameras) was protected and it was not easy to pull the SD cards. This was not the case at all. In contacting them by phone I waited over 50 minutes on hold to reach a support representative, was put on 3 additional holds totaling 1 hour and 27 minutes. You might think that GSM would allow a refund in full based on bad information being provided, but they are not covering the cost of shipping originally as well as not covering the shipping back. While it adds up to about $40 in shipping cost, I'm paying for an error in mid-information being provided. I have been a long time user of GSM products, but the service and how they treat customers has really made me move on from all of their products. read more

GSM has made no effort to help this ex cold steel rep ( Merlos Palmdale ) and now I have absolutely no problem shredding their rep online. They said that my machete would be delayed 18-21 days for " warehouse sharpening " Keep in mind this was supposed to be a cold steel tanto machete. You know, it should have clear lines but this? This is just insulting. Also I ordered a cold steel city stick. It came with chips all along the end like some moron had fenced with it. I bought a Hawk The Office box blind because they advertised the steel floor, but that turned out to just be marketing. The floor is very spongy and there is a LOUD plastic creaking noise when you shift your weight. I contacted GSM outdoors for help troubleshooting it and was politely told to pound sand because they don't consider this to be a warranty issue. Additionally, I previously wrote a respectful and detailed 3 star review on their website, which they deleted, leaving only 5 star reviews posted. Shady! To summarize: $5000 for a blind that creaks loud enough to scare deer, but GSM outdoors doesn't consider that to be a problem, unless you post about it in a review on their website, then it gets promptly deleted so other people don't hear about this defect that they don't consider to be a defect. read more

GSM Outdoors is a company you want to say away from. Their products are faulty and if you try to contact their customer service department they never get back to you. The only way to get in touch with them is to call customer service and wait over an hour to finally speak to someone. Then they give you lip service and do nothing. I have been trying to exchange a trail camera that was faulty out of the box. After a month and a half, they had me send to old one back and never sent a replacement. After waiting on the phone for over an hour again someone agreed to send a replacement, but when I received the replacement it to was faulty. Now I get no response from the company. I purchased (2) Rubber Training Laredo Bowie knives from them and when I received them they were in a sealed plastic bag, but after I opened them both I noticed that one of them looked brand new while the other one looked used. (see the image comparison) I took these pictures and emailed support right away on May 23rd, 2021. I finally received a response today, June 11, 2021 instructing me to call. (see screenshots) I called and then was instructed to email them the pictures again because they couldn't find the email I had previously sent them. So the rep that was working with me then told me they would send me an RA to return the product to them at which point I stated that it would make no sense any more because I've already used it. Not sure why they took so long to respond to my original email or why exactly one of the training knives looked used, but I definitely was not satisfied with the outcome. Great product from Cold Steel though. Not likely to shop from GSM Outdoors again. I really wanted to give them 1 star, but the rep I spoke with tried to help a little so I gave them 2 stars. I had called up because GSM had purchased the Cold steel limited company, I have been an avid collector of Cold steel for the last 15 years and I was very appreciative of their customer support before they were sold. The representative that I connected with after approximately 45 minutes of waiting on the phone to simply get an order to send in one of my older knives for sharpening since they offer free sharpening service for their products, I was given a very unknowledgeable uneducated customer service representative that did not even know the product that I was describing it took another 43 minutes on hold for her to figure out what I found on Google within about 3 seconds after being put on hold. Plus she didn't seem to be able to hear anything that I said because I had to repeat everything that she asked for model number, address, name, multiple times I even spelled it out for her phonetically, and she still had problems understanding and was constantly getting what I was telling her incorrect. I purchased a SOG multi tool several years ago and tossed it into my glove box. I didn't need it until a few days ago only to discover that the 1 tool I needed, Phillips head screwdriver, had passed QC without having been ground properly rendering the tool useless. HOWEVER, I contacted SOG by phone today and spoke with a Customer Service Expert, Jennifer. Jennifer took all of the time necessary to resolve my issue with legitimate concern for her client as well as her employer. The QC issue was resolved by agreeing to sending me a replacement Phillips head screwdriver which I should be able to swap out easily enough once it arrives. My biggest reason for this review is not that a company stepped up to take care of an issue years after I purchased the multitool, as consumers we should all accept that as standard business practice.... my compliments are primarily directed towards Jennifer who took the time to call be back in a reasonable time and fully settle the warranty issue via phone and email quickly and professionally. I had a broken Phenix rod which I sent back. they contact me and told me I needed to send the money order for the replacement which I did on February 16., went out the country for three weeks on 18 February came back to find out. They said they never received my money order. Contact them for the next two weeks talk to three different customer service associates. They still said there's no information about my money order now we are in the middle of March, I kept asking to speak to a supervisor or someone with management they response was they always was in a meeting all day was not available. Finally got to speak to a person by Paula who helped me out tremendously found out my money order was cash long time ago by GSM , after that it took another two weeks to get it shipped out once they knew that they cash my money order today is April 4. I just received my new pole from February 16. Unbelievable the customer service from this company but let me make it clearly GSM I own about a dozen Phenix rods and I hear that you are the new owners of Phenix. I have purchased 18 stealth cam trail cameras over the years, and until now have had no problems. I purchased one in 2020, and the other day, it started taking daylight photos/videos in magenta, instead of full color. I called GSM customer support. They "said" my call was important, but I waited 55 min. before someone came on the phone. I explained my problem, and advised them the cam was out of warrantee and would be happy to pay to have it repaired. They have no repair facilities!!!!! My experience with GSM is limited to their customer service, which is utterly horrible. I made an order on December 15, 2020 with Cold Steel. I emailed GSM as specified by Cold Steel's website and received no response. I sent an email on December 20, December 23, December 31, January 21, and January 27 and have never received ANY response. I called their phone number on December 31 and spoke with two very kind representatives, but they told me my problem had been moved to another department. I have not been contacted since. I would give 1 stars if I could - under no circumstance should anyone purchase a Hawk Treestand. I could write a book on the series of events - however I will sum it all up with the following. My Denali 1.5 ladder stand was missing parts, bolts, had incorrect hardware, and one part that appeared to be the wrong size. The fit up was less than desirable, and the methodology for attaching the seat supports clearly did not pass any inspection, and secondly is a major safety issue for your hands. The customer service team promised emails, they did not go through, then stated they sent again - never received anything. There are no parts available - they would not allow me to take parts from another stand at one of their distributors. They did offer to send a new stand, but only after I destroyed the one I have - no way on earth was I going to spend hours putting together a stand which most likely would have the same issues. I have 7 ladder stands from different brands, mainly Field and Stream, and have never had an issue. I can say with confidence this was by far my worst experience with a piece of hunting equipment in my 40 years of hunting. A few other points - I understand how to assemble tree stands, or pretty much anything or that matter. I sent in my DD214 to their customer service in advance of purchasing this unit - and heard nothing - not even a hey we received your information. Notice - this company has not responded to any negative reviews - crickets. And lastly, as a person with a background in Safety, I now question the integrity of this stand (and I was not kidding about the seat supports), and clearly they simply just do not care about their customers. This review should likely be enough for you to make a better decision than I did when purchasing your next Treestand. read more
