The lobby was very pretty and modern, and very big. The roomss were nice and seemed to be pretty clean. They weren't too small, and had a bit of room to move around. They did have a small table and seating that you could eat at. I thought it was pretty neat that the table had a switch to make it rise up. There is a shower but no tub, which was fine with me. The room came with a refrigerator. They have an indoor outdoor pool and a hot tub. Because it was cold the outdoor pool was blocked off as expected. There wasn't an attendant on duty, but there were several workers replacing towels and such. One thing that I will say was a little bit disappointing during our stay, was that there did not seem to be an attendant at the desk most of the times that we needed one. At one point we tried to call the front desk several times to ask for towels, and got no answer. We also had multiple issues with our keys. They had trouble programming it, and another time they just stopped working. Overall the stay was fine despite the minor inconveniences, and id give it another chance. The location to the airport was nice and there were actually quite a few airline employees there, along with some type of convention. Parking was free so that was a plus, and i think they offer an airport shuttle as well.

Well folks, if you want to call elegant cuisine, wonderful ambience, and loving care -Old World?…read more Well please do. Because it is! This place is forgotten because of its big events, people don't remember -you can dine here daily!! Took my youngest daughter for her birthday here, it was like going to Napa! Wonderful food, hand picked bottle of wine. Like grandma was taking care of us. We had everything, fish, poultry, and beef, -and pizza for my little boy! I had the bone in filet. Oh my! Bowdies, watch out! This is better. Oh, shhhhh. Don't tell anyone, but the price was HALF what I pay at the other big names. Had a hard time not picking up the bone and gnawing on it. Ok, I did gnaw on it! They didn't care, only smiled because they know: there's no school like the old school! Come back home, and to your senses. Notos will greet you with open arms, and send you back with a happy belly ...without pickpocketing dad's wallet. "che bello!"

From the very beginning, Joann was an absolute joy to work with. She was always incredibly responsive, readily available to meet with us, and patient in answering every question along the way. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made the entire planning process feel smooth and stress-free. The food truly goes without saying -- it was hands down some of the best we have ever had. The appetizers were fabulous, and guests are still talking about them. Dinner was exceptional, (with guests choosing between the best chicken Parmesan in town served with pasta or salmon wrapped in prosciutto, served with asparagus and potatoes), with impressive attention to dietary needs and special requests. And the late-night sliders and tater tots were the yummiest possible ending to a perfect evening. Every detail was thoughtfully handled. The cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly what my daughter had ordered and envisioned -- it was perfect in both appearance and taste. We were also so grateful for the incredible access Noto's allowed us to the space, along with their willingness to help us get whatever we needed to make the wedding truly stunning. The venue itself is drop-dead gorgeous. The room, the chandeliers, and the overall setting created the most magical atmosphere and were especially perfect for a New Year's Eve celebration. Everything felt elegant, warm, and unforgettable. Noto's exceeded every one of our expectations, and then some. We would highly recommend them for any event -- weddings or otherwise. They played such a huge role in making my daughter's wedding absolutely stunning and truly unforgettable.

The high ceiling and natural light made the space feel large and welcoming. I was a little alarmed by the large totem pole in the corner of the building as it had some faces that seemed a little scary to me, but I don't think any of the kids even noticed. They even have a little "scavenger hunt" sheet so you can try to find all the different animals and figures carved into this tall structure. There is plenty of parking, although we ended up in the lot closer to the silos, which was a short walk to the building. (According to their website, this lot is actually now closed until the beginning of June.) The silos were a cool feature of the park, and they actually have rock climbing walls on them! I saw some kids climbing and tried it out for myself - unfortunately I definitely wasn't wearing the proper footwear, but it's something unique and cool that I haven't really seen at many other parks. There is a small play area here for kids. I'd love to come back again later this spring to check out the trail down to the Grand River. There's a canoe landing at the park which is great for summer. The whole park covers 240 acres! I'm sure there's lots of great wildlife spotting, so I'm looking forward to doing some birdwatching here soon.

Amazing Venue for Our Dream Wedding!…read more Venue3Two is an INCREDIBLE place to celebrate a wedding in West Michigan! My husband and I were looking for a beautiful venue with historic charm, & we were blessed to find this gem so close to home! Spending the morning at Venue3Two as we prepared for the ceremony was such a peaceful experience! As I got my hair & makeup done, as we got dressed, as we did our first look, as we took pictures with the bridal party, I was just amazed by the romantic elegance found in every corner & every room of the 1920s mansion! Then, after we returned from the ceremony at my church, one of my favorite moments of the day was bustling my dress in the bridal suite on the second floor & looking out the window to the backyard where I saw guests relaxing on the terrace & enjoying cornhole & giant jenga (outdoor games the venue provided). During the cocktail hour and reception, I loved being able to enjoy drinks in the great room as well as the charcuterie table in the dining room, being able to feel the sunshine through the large windows as we dined in the conservatory, & being able to find delicious desserts in the kitchen. Another one of my favorite parts of the venue was the fireplace in the great room where we displayed the family wedding photos on top of the mantle. Every time I walked past it, I found guests & other vendors taking a look at the photos which made me smile! We also had our engagement photos displayed on the giant TV in the conservatory which people loved to look at throughout the cocktail hour & reception! In the evening, the terrace was magical with its outdoor lights providing a perfect romantic setting for the rest of the night. I can't believe how smoothly everything ran throughout the day, and that is because of the incredible service provided by the Venue3Two team! They were very professional & attentive, and my venue coordinator, Stochia McDaniel, was so incredibly helpful as we discussed & planned the big day for several months! I heard numerous comments from guests at how beautiful the venue is, and I loved sharing their inspiring mission statement (if you haven't yet, please check it out: https://www.venue3two.com/investment). I can't sing enough praises of Venue3Two for making my dream wedding a reality!

Side dishes (mashed potatoes, fries, bananas, etc) come out so quickly, they become cold by the time you finish salad. Unless you want to eat everything at the same time, i advise telling staff to hold on serving side dishes until you finish your salad bar. I can hardly complain about such quick service! 2. The hostess/reception area is manned by employees who've mastered the art of the gen z stare. Look that up if you don't know what i mean. The vibe was bad enough i asked on my way out if i had done something to make her angry. Deep sigh. That said, the experience is so fun and worth trying!

The restaurant looks very upscale and the light fixtures and decor are gorgeous. Shortly after being seated our server Nathan stopped by to explain how things worked and if we wanted sparkling, still, or tap water. We did one sparking and one still, which was the Saratoga brand in glass bottles. We could've done tap, but we were already splurging, so why not get the sparkling and still waters. We then headed to the large buffet of hot and cold food options. I was super impressed with the different olive oils, salads, and hot choices. My favorites were the black beans, au gratin potatoes, the quinoa salad that had cranberries in it, and the big wheel of Parmesan cheese. When we got back to the table there were dishes of Brazilian cheese bread, mashed potatoes, French fries, and sweet fried plantains. We ate three dishes of the Brazilian cheese bread. It is just SO good. We love the texture of the bread. It's almost like mochi? I don't know how else to explain it. It's crispy, chewy, and a nice cheesy flavor. The fries were also a hit. They are battered and very crispy. The mashed potatoes were also very good. We all tried the plantains as well. They were very good. Quickly the meat started to arrive. There are so many options. Sometimes it can feel overwhelming by how quickly people come by back to back. Sometimes you don't see someone with meat for a little while. I loved the filet mignon. The spicy sirloin was also good and did have a nice spice to it. I also tried the lamb and picanha (cut of beef). I do not eat pork, so I didn't try any of those options or the sausage. Everyone else at the table raved about the sausage. We were all beyond stuffed, but wanted to try some of the desserts. Our family of four had the carrot cake and Brazilian cheesecake. Our two friends shared a chocolate cake. The desserts were phenomenal and so worth feeling miserably full. Very flavorful, moist, and rich. Our server Nathan was a gem. He was so kind and funny. He was always making sure our group was doing okay. There was also another gentleman that helped with getting our table more fries and getting more filet mignon. Service was amazing and so was the food. The atmosphere was beautiful. We will be back!

Gym and pool. Also a grill outside and what appears to be a fire pit. When I first arrived, a staff member was going above and beyond for another customer- with a room upgrade and offering to call her staffing company for payment etc. I had mobile check in, so while he acknowledged me, I knew it was going to be awhile so I just went to my room. The room is incredibly spacious. It's almost bigger than my first apartment. My room doesn't have an oven, but I heard there are rooms with ovens. I have a microwave, toaster, small electric stove and cookware. I was surprised to see a full fridge and freezer! Nice paper towels- the ones that feel like fabric. There are plenty of seating options- high top bar seating, couch seating with a mobile table, and desk seating. The bed is comfortable with many pillows- although none are strictly down/feather. Oh well. The towels are plush - one of mine had a dried out bloody booger on it from a prior guest. Maybe they flung it on to a folded clean towel and the cleaning staff didn't change it, and left it there. Who knows. Soaps and shampoo etc are standard for Marriott. Shower head has many options. Water is decently hot but depends on when you're using it. Lobby has coffee in the morning and breakfast room does not open until 6:30am, which is a tragedy. We are at work before then. In fact, I bet more than half of their guests leave before breakfast is open. I spoke to the guy at the desk about this, on Monday, and he was so nonchalant about it. Not even apologetic. Basically that's the time and the time has always been 6:30 and that's that. Well, I explained to him that other Marriott's in town have their breakfast ready at 5:30! He didn't seem to care. I asked if he wouldn't mind to pass that on to management and he shrugged and said their hotel is owned by some group and 6:30 is the time. Waste of my breath trying to tell this guy that they could do better and maintain more repeat guests if they could just budge a little. He did offer to grab me a yogurt as a consolation prize. I declined. I didn't want a yogurt- I want the hotel to do better. I will not recommend this hotel to other medical contractors because of the breakfast not being available at a useful time. Fairfield inn north and springhill suites north both have their breakfast ready by 5:30; I will stay there again in the future.
