OMG!! This was SO MUCH FUN! 6 of us came in on Saturday, 12/28/24 around 2pm. We did not make a reservation, we just took our chances with Open Play. What a blast! Great drink selection, super fun and different activity, and we brought our own snacks! Cannot wait to come back! read more

Fowling Warehouse - Grand Rapids - FIRST TIME FOWLING! - Sports Bars Near Me - Grand Rapids, Michigan

A pretty fun activity for a date night or with a few friends or for a work function. There is no food served here, but they do allow you to order and delivery or bring your own snacks. There is a bar, that's not super overpriced and makes good mixed drinks. Keep in mind, the place is loud and was pretty busy on a Saturday night. But for $10 per person with unlimited play, that's a steal of an activity. read more

What a great experience for the first time! An easy set up that made it simple for us first timers to grasp the game and be able to just have fun with it even with no experience! A great date night or time to hang with friends! read more

Went for a team building event with my colleagues... had a great time! I suck a fowling, but it was a blast to just observe. Drinks were great and the ambiance was such a blast! I did finger the cup hole... and learned why this sign exists! Lol.. my poor friend felt the brunt of my poor choice! read more

What an interesting concept! Throw a football at bowling pins while hanging with your friends. Simple and fun but harder than you think. There is a large parking lot for car loads of people so unlimited spaces for all you guests. It was $15/person, you get a lane to play in for as long as you want! You can bring your own food or have food delivered but alcohol has to be purchased there. They have this beer machine that fills your cup from the bottom so there are these signs that say font finger your cuphole that I just cracked up at every time I seen one. The reason is because the port will leak and you will lose all you beer. The staff was friendly, and the establishment was clean, even the bathrooms. we only played two games. My football skills are not like they once were. Great place for any occasion. Reasonable price for a great night out read more

We had a great time! There were lots of lanes available to choose from. We came for open play, so it was $12 a person, which is pretty reasonable. Having a bar there definitely made it more fun Staff was very nice- even when we accidentally stayed past closing time. This would be a great place to come for an older kiddos birthday party, or even a work event/party. read more

Really fun experience. This was my first time Fowling and went for a work party. It got a little crowded back by the bar but service moved quickly! The fowling was a simple concept but very fun and it was a cool atmosphere! Would definitely come back! read more

My family and friends met me here for my birthday. Never heard of this place or this sport but my sisters really wanted to check it out. We had a group of maybe 20, ranging in ages from 8 to 72. Luckily there was a full bar because this would've been a short lived activity. After everyone played a couple games we made up our own game(s) and just ran around in general. It's worth checking out, but I don't think I'd ever come back. read more

Definitely a cool place to go on a date or have a party with family and friends. Lots of fun and laughs.

I had such a fun time at the Fowling Warehouse! There are a two side of the facility and each side has around 14 lanes. The prices were really affordable, they have a nicely stocked bar, good drink selection and all though they don't have food you can order or bring food in. The space is great for kids and adults, the rules are super easy and the lanes are not too far from each other so even a non skilled thrower can hit some pins! I recommend this place for a group get together spot. read more

Fowling Warehouse - Grand Rapids - Fowling lanes - Sports Bars Near Me - Grand Rapids, Michigan

Some friends and I went to the Fowling Warehouse over the weekend to check it out and have some fun. We got there around 7:30 on a Friday and we were able to get an open lane right away. They have two sections each with about 18 lanes. We paid at the front and then someone explained to us how fowling works. There's no scoring, just whichever team knocks down all the pins first wins. There are a couple more rules but it's a very basic game and simple enough for anyone to pick up. The actual technique of throwing a football to hit the pins is a little more tricky, especially once there are only a couple pins left! We all had so much fun, even though it's not always easy as the football can bounce unpredictably at times. There is a large bar on each side of the hall and we never had to wait for drinks. They are a little pricey ($7 for a Tito's and soda) and can definitely add up quickly. Pro tip: keep an eye on your drinks and put them in a safe spot - we had multiple casualties from drinks being hit by footballs! The people working were friendly and quick to mop up the spilled drinks. There is plenty of seating in the bar areas if you want a break or if you bring in food. I had so much fun fowling and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to do something a little different with a group of friends. It was awesome to see the diversity of people all playing this silly game and having a blast. read more

We enjoy fowling with our friends. We also have done a work party here. You can order food in and they have a bar to order drinks.

Went here for an event on game day. Ive never played this game before but went on a whim. I was hesitant about going but now this is something i would do or participate in again. I had a lot of fun. It was really well organized with plenty of room, big bar with not much wait time and awesome bartenders. I was appreciative of the clean bathrooms and awesome staff that were helpful on any situation. I'd highly recommend this to anyone wanting to try or do something a little different. Very fun and entertaining looking forward to going again! read more

A large group of us came to open Fowling and really enjoyed it! The staff is very friendly and the place is setup nicely. There are tons of "lanes" and 2 large bars on both sides of the warehouse. Thy advertise that you can bring your own food or order delivery. We noticed a lot of people having pizza dropped off while they were playing. They take pride in having 150 types of beer and they also have large TVs to watch the games while you play. Overall, this is a new concept that finally made its way to Grand Rapids! Give them a shot. read more

I have gone here twice for an office party of 20-30 people. First off, the staff was very professional both times. It was clean and I did not notice any stale alcohol odors at all. Now they do not serve food here but you can order food from local restaurants and have it delivered and eat it there. They do have a bar and sell alcohol. Now the first time I went, I thought this was going to be so stupid. To my surprise, I was very wrong. Throwing a football at some bowling pins across the way was fun and sometimes frustrating. When you get down to a pin or two and just can't seem to know it down is frustrating. But that is all part of the game. The only down side I had was a sore shoulder the next morning. LOL. I would go back and do this at any time. Highly recommended for a fun night out. read more

We visited with a group for the first time in January of 2019. Totally unsure of what to expect and had no expectations. We made a reservation for two lanes ahead of time - highly recommend for groups. We paid half up front and half when we arrived. The warehouse is huge and offers lots of space for each group. We were able to take up 4 of their barrel tables & camp our around those. Bar is easily accessible and HUGE. Lots of great beer options! They do not serve food but you can bring in whatever you want - we ordered pizza from JT's and that worked out great. I also saw groups bringing in crockpots and party food - another great idea! So, fair warning if you want a snack or light app - bring your own. Only downside. The actual fowling is so much fun & way harder than I had anticipated! Good for anyone at any athletic level. The girls in our group had fun playing against the guys, too. There are two areas - one is open fowling and the other is for reservations. Both sides were full on a Saturday night! All in all - we look forward to going again! read more

Went on a Saturday evening and got in tons of play at the open lanes, drinks are cheap, and you can bring your own food! Lots of parties were going on, would be a great place to host a birthday! read more

Had a blast. The bar tender was very helpful in getting me and a co-worker setup and got us dialed in with beers. It wasn't real busy which made it easier to learn the game. read more

It was ok. Went there for a Holiday Party for work. Food was average, bar tender was friendly but would dump your drinks before you were done. The Fowling was interesting to play. Everything was great until the staff accused our party of breaking a door that was broken by one of the other groups having a party there. Kinda ruined the whole experience for me. read more

I attended my wife's work party here. What a cool placee to have a get together. We brought crock pots and other foods with us. Those were complimented by the full bar at the facility. The fowlIng is much harder and more fun than i expected. The only part I didnt care for is them wanting to take a photo/image of my drivers license. I'm there to throw a football and have a few drinks...they do NOT need a digital image of my ID. Fun place. Go here. read more

Horrible place. Rude staff. Do not go here. Save your money! Worse experience. I would never recommend coming here. They need to take care of their boards.. most are torn apart. Smells of bad booze too. I've been twice and I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. read more

Had a lot of fun! No quite what I was expecting, but once I got into the flow of the game had a great time!

A wonderful way to spend Mother's Day 2019. I am already looking for a reason to go again; we had so much fun. An overall great activity for all ages read more

A group of friends decided to take me here saying it would be fun. It was pretty packed with people and had the odor of a locker room. It took a while to get a drink and the staff was not so friendly. Perhaps this was due to how busy it was. Personally drink prices are pretty high for the amount you get. I think it might be a fun place if there was not so many people and the prices were a bit lower. read more

I thought this was going to be dumb when I was invited...i almost stayed home...glad i didn't, it was really fun! I was wrong...one take away...should have smaller footballs for the ladies...my wife is 5'4" and the football was too big for her to throw. read more

This place is a blast! They had on a ton of choices of beer which was great - they even had these cups that fill from the bottom up. We had 8 people and we spread out with the open play to 2 lanes and stayed for a few hours. We ended up going across the street to get some pizzas because they dont have food, but it was fun to just hang out after a few rounds of playing and eat. The staff was excellent, they cleaned up messes fast and gave us excellent directions. Bartenders were really fast and still very friendly! The music was great too. We all had a great time, i look forward to going back. read more

Really fun Game. The management was very rude and would threaten to kick you out if you accidentally misplayed the game. Overall they did not set a friendly environment for a good time. Constantly yelling at people for playing the game incorrectly. With new management this place could be awesome! read more

We held our end of year youth hockey party at the Fowling Warehouse and it was absolutely amazing!! The staff -- Luwan, Laura, Cameron, and Meagan were wonderful. They greeted all of us (70+) as we came in making us feel welcome. Laura and Megan were quick to get everyone the wristbands and Luwan was the friendliest of hostesses making sure we all knew what to expect and that they were there to make our time fowling the most fun possible. Cameron was great at getting all of the boys (ages 10-15) up to speed on the rules of the game. He was really good about offering reminders about how to play (and not to play) in a way that showed he wanted the boys to have fun but most importantly be safe. He was always smiling and making sure everyone had a good time. The layout of the building was wonderful and made the event one of the best we have had. There was plenty of space for those who were not actually fowling to visit and enjoy the atmosphere. The staff provided us with a ton of tables to set up our munchies and lunch. Highly recommended! Groups large or small would enjoy an afternoon or evening at the Fowling Warehouse. Welcome to town Luwan and team. We are so glad you are here!! I hope you do offer some 'family friendly' week day afternoons for this summer. Many of our boys (and moms) would love to spend a few afternoons with you once school is out! read more
