Growing Tree has been an amazing school for my two children. Our experiences are wonderful. The office staff are always loving and kind. The teachers are not only knowledgeable and skilled, but also patient, love and always take the time to understand and meet each child's growth and well-being. Their outdoor playground has lots of space and is great for kids to play. The classrooms are set up very nicely by Montessori curriculum and everything feels very secure. I was impressed with the security level they maintain and the communication with parents that they foster. My kids love to go to school every morning, I feel confident and grateful knowing my kids are in such good hands. I highly recommend to any parent looking for a school that combines excellent education with compassionate care. read more

Our son attended here, unfortunately it was only for a few months. However, we couldn't have been more happy with our time there. The staff is friendly, informative, and very welcoming. His teachers Ms Sequoyah and Ms Paytin were absolutely phenomenal. Our son was scared starting off for his first time in daycare but they made him feel loved and cared for. This school has some great teachers but my son just did not thrive here. The last two months were horrible and my son got sent home so many times. Can't say what was going on in the class he was in but it was obvious he didn't want to be there. I have him in another school and let's just say he hasn't had any behaviors. read more

My experience was not the worst but not the best either. I've waited a month to write this review as once I changed schools to see if moving schools helped my son. I saw an immediate change in my son once I switched schools, he is doing SO much better and is so excited to go to school. The first day of school I go to drop my son off and then I am told his teachers wont be in until 9AM. The aid did not help me when dropping off my son even when I let he know I would need help My son ran after me out the door and almost made it out of the school to get to me. The aid could have taken him introduced him to some friends or something to help me sneak out. This was my first impression, and it never got better. He is at a new school and is thriving. I feel this school has to many kids and not enough teachers. I was even told because my kid is a sweet kid they didn't give him the attention he needed because he doesn't act out. When I would leave every morning he would stand in a corner by himself and not one teacher would help him interact with others. i don't even know how long he would stand there for. In his new school when he is dropped off he runs to play with others and is so social and talks to everyone. He has even told me he likes his new school better because his Friends don't hit him anymore. I feel this school has some great teachers but there are too many kids for them to give them to proper care. There has also been a lot of turn over in teachers and Aides. I feel like every time I came to pick him up there was a new Aide in the classroom and I had no Idea who they were and there was no warning of change with them. I stayed with them for a year hoping it would get better but now I kick myself for not trusting my instincts and changing schools earlier. Every teacher that my son interacts with gives him so much love and attention. He learned how to speak clearly and potty train through lots of patience from the staff. Everyday our son looks forward to seeing his friends and teachers. I would recommend to every family. They also have lots of fun events such as petting zoo's, police visits and musicals. read more

Ms Julia, I'm surprised you do not recall, but we spoke multiple times, twice over the phone and once in person one-on-one in your office regarding the issues we had with poor communication. You also spoke with my wife multiple times and emailed us on our last day saying you would waive our final weeks fee due to your inadequacies. So why you are not remembering me or our situation is confusing to me. TO PARENTS READING THIS, yes my son attended GTMP in 2021. However I am very connected in our community here in south temecula and have spoken to a few other families, one as recent as this last month who had the same issues we were experiencing in their 0-2 room which is what prompted me to write the review. Regardless this was our experience and needs to be heard as I feel it is unacceptable. I have the receipts showing for example that they would mark on the take home sheet that he ate ALL of his lunch and "enjoyed it," but then we were sent home his lunch with over half of it still in his lunchbox and our son demonstrating agitation when we picked him up, possibly hungry? They would tell us he had a great day, but no mention of what activities he participated in, no pictures, NOTHING, and we would pick him up sobbing. And worst of all, no charting of milestones or any indication on developmental skills. Again, I don't think GTMPs staff know how to do this at this facility. When you speak multiple times to staff (Ms Julia, Ms Chelsea, Ms Celia) all managers, directors, or acting directors, and none of them maintain the changes they promised for more than a week, thats a red flag. If a child development facility doesn't indicate milestones for your child at any age and how these children are doing developmentally, FIND ANOTHER FACILITY! I hope GTMP is making changes. But for now, this was our experience. Ms Chelsea and Ms Celia were incredibly nice people, and I know they care about the kids. But the admin needs to get their act together and elevate their understanding of child development and stop acting defensive! We need to demand better in South Temecula! read more

My daughter went there when she's 2 1/2 yrs old. All the teachers in the school are super nice including the Directors. They helped my daughter learned potty train, opened up her creative side, caring her patience with love, and making her wanting to go to school everyday! read more

I am very happy with the experience my two children are having at this daycare. The teachers, especially Ms. Michelle and Ms. Savannah for my 4-year-old daughter, and Ms. Kim and Ms. Khylee for my 2-year-old son, are fantastic. Their kindness and patience have greatly contributed to the development of my children. Under their care, my daughter has fallen in love with school, and my son has developed better social skills. I have so many positive things to say about this school. First off, the staff are always kind and attentive to my child. My son loves his teachers and he's actually excited to go. We have been to two other daycares where my son would cry and cling to me every time and here after the first week my son smiles and says bye mom! Now he goes in happy with no struggle at all and comes home with lots of things to tell me about what he did with his friends. They do fun activities with the kids such as pumpkin patch day and pajama day but what I appreciate most is how the staff has been so wonderful to my son, who has separation anxiety and how comfortable and happy he is there now. I LOVE this school! Both of my kids are going to this school! They come home and talk what they did that day and it is always something new and fun! My older has speech delay and Ms Michelle was working so much with her and we see big difference! She is talking much more and she is so happy to go to school to see her friends and teachers! It was very important to me that they have nice teachers who will pay attention on them and help them with English ( it's not our first language, like you probably figured by my review hahaha) . I can see they have so much fun in school and they are becoming so much more independent!!! They pick up toys after playing, they can play by themselves for hours, not ever asking me to turn tv on! I will be forever grateful to Ms Michelle,Ms Miriam, Ms Brandy, Ms Lauren and Ms Brooke. My husband and I were trying to find best school for our kids, we checked so many places and I'm so happy this was our choice! It was their first experience away from home and parents, so I was concerned how it would be. It is not easy when you come to new country as immigrant , everything is new to you: language, culture,...these great teachers from Growing Tree Montessori made it easy for my kids and my family! Took a tour of this school and got to meet the amazing teachers. I am absolutely impressed with the cleanliness, the structure, and how wonderful the staff is. I would like to particularly give props to Ms. Chelsea McClung. She is great with kids, smart, and very talented at what she does. We like this Montessori school, my 2 yrs son enrolled this school three months ago. I toured about 10 preschools in the area before make my final decision. This school opened half year ago, all furnitures and toys brand new, this is very important for me, bc in my son age, he put everything in his mouth, so cleaning is very important part for me while choose school. And I like their Montessori Curriculum, every kid is different with individual learning plan, base on kids personal goals. My little one knew A-Z and almost potty trained in this three months. Teachers here are very kind, fun and loving. I feel very comfortable to put him in this school while I am working. There are no better preschool to be found and I am glad I sent him to Growing Tree Montessori Preschool. read more

I put my 2-year old son in this school 3 month ago. At the first week he was a little bit nervous but the teachers patiently and warmly gave him better care, which made him so active and happy during class time and after school time. Now he is so willing and exciting to go to school every morning . This school is really a safe and nice place for kids stay and study. The teachers and office staff likes Ms Cecilia and Ms Chelsea are alway greeting me with great smiles and always patiently answer my questions. They pay highly attention to kids' safety and health. The classroom materials and toys are brand new and clean.It is a great place for me to send my kid in and go back to work without any worries. My child was there for almost 3 weeks. I got 0 updates on how he was doing other than "he did better than yesterday"or "today was not as good as yesterday". They advertise a small student teacher ratio however every time I was there I would see a minimum of 20 kids to 2 teachers. In the afternoon they combine 2 classrooms 2-3 and 4-5 year olds in 1 so you can imagine how much attention your child will get. The teachers are too busy to comfort/provide attention to your child if this is their first time there and they need that extra support to adjust for the first couple weeks. I did not have the heart to continue leaving my son there knowing he was unhappy and not given the care I had hoped for. This place is more about the money vs the wellbeing of your kid. They ask for a 200$ supply fee yet I see my son using crayons that are well over a year old (considering it's the beginning of a new school year) and outdated Montessori toys. The last straw that really made me decide to pull him from that facility was when I went to pick him up and he was the only one standing next to his cot while the other kids were napping and the 2 teachers were sitting working on their projects; I immediately noticed his diaper was not changed and the teacher asked me to change it before we went home (I refused as I can change my own son's diaper when I am around) when I changed his diaper I knew he was wearing that diaper (poop) for a good 1 hour+. Another day I dropped my son off wearing his Kirkland diapers and I picked him up 5 hours later and he was wearing the same exact diaper again (Micky diapers are what I have provided the facility with). I brought this up to one of the head admin and she stated she would look into this and call me back; 1 week+ passed by and I got no explanation as to why this would happen. Getting no call back to explain my concerns that I had provided on the withdrawal notice shows the unprofessionalism in this facility and the lack of care that it provides to not only the parents but the kids as well. read more

We had our two kids, one aged 5 and the younger one aged 3, went to Growing Tree for almost a year. For the entire time they were there, I could tell they were being well taken care of. Me and my wife has only good words for them. I can tell my kids were having fun and learned a great deal of knowledge from Growing Tree. My younger son has some delayed language development and we hoped that let him to join in a classroom environment should improve that.. I expressed this concern to them during the tour and enrollment meeting, after a few months I was thrilled that he already improved quite a bit. For instance, before he went to Growing Tree, he only could mutter a few single words, with help from his class teachers, he started to say full sentences in front of us. I was so thrilled about that! From that I can tell the teachers in the school were tentative and care for our kids. Unfortunately we were only temporarily living there in Temecula for that time to take care of my ailing father. My family had since moved back to where we live now. My two kids love their teachers and so sad for leaving, the time we were in Temecula, we were so happy to find Growing Tree for our kids and we will definitely recommend it to anyone. read more

My 2y.o. has been enrolled for about 3 months and she enjoys it. She goes 2 days a week and every day I pull up to the parking lot she is excited to be there. First impressions are important to me because I have had negative experiences with other providers during first encounters. However with GTM, from the moment I called to set up a tour, I was impressed. The staff was absolutely courteous and kind and they worked with my schedule. During our tour we were provided hand outs of their academic curriculum and daily schedule, we were able to meet the teachers and see the classroom that my child would be in. GTM provided a variety of information to help make our decision. We are happy with our child's teachers and appreciate the activities GTM does around the holidays. Their academic curriculum involves daily art, singing, reading, and language which is something that is important to me. We appreciate that GTM provides a calendar of the annual activities/school closures as this is a big help with my job and making sure I can take time off for important events. It is very flexible and offers enrollment on a daily or weekly basis. Overall, we are very satisfied with our decision to enroll our daughter here and would recommend to any parent that may be considering GTM enrollment. read more

I would highly recommend this school!! The staff is absolutely wonderful. I felt so welcome especially by Rona, Lisa, and Kiki. I had such a hard time finding any infant care in Southern CA and am so grateful Growing Tree opened up and saved me from having to continue to drive my infant back and forth down to San Diego. Both infant teachers Lisa and Esther are fantastic! It shows with my baby being so happy every day during pickup. As an added bonus the school building has been renovated which definitely shows. I knew how the building looked before the upgrades and it has really improved its decor and is very clean. If you are looking for a school that emphasizes academics and creativity, this school is definitely the right fit for your kid(s). read more
