The staff at ABC are incredibly warm and welcoming. Every time we walk in, the atmosphere immediately lifts our spirits. The teachers greet the children with excitement and genuinely seem happy to be there. It means so much to see them blow my child a kiss and tell her they love her--it shows how much they truly care. My child is always happy to go to school, which says a lot about the environment they've created. ABC also puts a lot of effort into their events and celebrations--they never skimp out on festivities. Everything is beautifully decorated. Parents are always welcomed and encouraged to join, which helps create a strong sense of community between families and staff. Another thing that stands out is how much they invest in their staff culture. Even on staff development days, the team seems positive and enthusiastic, and that energy carries over into how they care for the children. I can't say enough wonderful things about ABC! From day one, they've gone above and beyond to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for my kids. My daughter absolutely adores Ms. Annie and Mr. Logan they've made a lasting impact on her with their kindness, patience, and genuine love for what they do. It's such a relief as a parent to know your child is excited to go each day, and even more rewarding to see how much she's grown socially and emotionally since starting here. ABC on solana way has potential but unfortunately was not a center that will support a toddlers development. During our few days there, I noticed several areas for improvement. The "very flexible" toddler class schedule has a significant amount of open center or "child initiated" time which could be a great thing, but the "centers" lack intentionality. The bins used to organize toys are kept inside cubby cabinets, making them less accessible for exploration during centers or "child initiated" time. While there are several toys available, they are often in disrepair, with most requiring new batteries(I did make the caregivers aware and after 2 days, a reminder and offering to donate batteries the toyS remained unattended). Also, during "centers" or "child initiated" time the kids are left to figure things out on their own while the caregivers stand or sit around only to ensure the kids are safe. The "sensory activities" aren't really activities they're more like a couple toys or objects tucked in a corner some inside a closed bin without any adults helping or modeling. Also, toys and items are not rotated regularly. The toddler caregivers do offer comfort when the littles cry. However, they are more like supervisors than interactive caregivers and because of that there are several missed opportunities for teaching moments. This one was the biggest red flag for us and what pushed us to begin our hunt for a different child care because I know that at this age(2&under), kids learn through play--specifically, play modeled by adults. When I announced we would no longer be attending ABC, the assistant director and another lady I spoke with were very kind and receptive to some of the concerns I had not only for my son but for all of the kids under their care. Hopefully they're able to implement some changes to improve the quality of care. Again, the staff are kind and caring but a lot comes across as a facade for families. If you have the time and flexibility, I encourage you to stop by at different times throughout the day to get a feel for what is really going in the rooms. Overall, this daycare has potential, but the center may need to provide more trainings/professional development or increase the requirements for the job- at least for the people in the rooms with the kids. read more

when our older son was a toddler he went here and loved it. We loved it too. The teachers were great and the staff were very nice. Now that our infant goes here we're not such big fans. He's always sick and always cold when we pick him up. We ask for his bib to stay on and it is always off when we get him. He rarely has his socks on and since we started he's missed more days than he has been there bc he's constantly sick and then of course you have the 24hr mandatory time to wait before bringing him back. He typically has food on his face and is playing in the corner by himself With no one near him. Great local business. Friendly office staff that seems to know everyone that walks through the door. You don't get that level of professionalism too many places anymore. Seriously, it seems like the ladies at the front desk know every single child, every parents, every family member. Very impressive! I know for a fact they work with struggling children to improve academics and education while also focusing on positive reinforcement for any behavioral issues. They work with parents/caregivers to give the absolute best care possible for every child in the building. The facility is located near a lot of business in Temecula which is pretty convenient. Plenty of parking and easy access since it's located on Solana, just off Margarita so you won't fight commuting traffic - until you get back on Margarita - then good luck! My daughter went to this child care center to inquire about placing my granddaughter there for Kindergarten and MARY was extremely rude. First she said "you know this child care center isn't free right?". Yes Mary, we understand this isn't a public school and it is not free. Why did you have to ask that? Then after letting my daughter know the cost, she had the audacity to say "That's too much right?" WHAT??!! Who do you think you are Mary? I am shocked to see the good reviews on Yelp. I am so happy I wasn't with my daughter as I would have said something just as rude back. There is absolutely no way (and no, there isn't a problem with cost) that I would have my granddaughter go to this child care center. If I could give ABC a 10 over and over again I would. I enrolled my niece back in June and they welcomed us with open arms, love, education, and a safe environment. The staff goes over and beyond to be involved with every child's needs. My niece loves going to school everyday, and feels the love from the teachers, front desk, managers, and even accounting. While I do like the day care overall, my reason for the 2 star review is that the staff doesn't always make parents aware of situations that happen. My son has been injured by another child there and witness the same child hurting another kid but nothing has been done about it. The teachers were told but still nothing. It's extremely frustrating. There should be some guidance and interference in these situations. Parents should be made aware so they can address the situation. I hesitated leaving a review here but it's happened several times so I can no longer not say anything. It makes me wonder why nothing is being done. The last time I confronted faculty they said they would address it but their follow up was non existent. I had to be proactive and check in. I'm disappointed by that. read more

Our son was at ABC for almost a year. Initially I enjoyed the unique events, parties and activities they planned for the kids. Unfortunately because we were still smack dab in the middle of the pandemic - the quarantines, the regular sick days and the staff changes became a little too much for us. There was an initial warmness when we signed up, but following that I never felt a real genuineness from the staff. The teachers that we initially started with were good (I can name at least two) but unfortunately both went to another place and that really was tough for our little guy. The wave of familiar faces leaving made it even harder for us to get our son to want to go back to daycare. There was no consistency after that - we never were properly introduced to the new teachers, didn't know who was a sub and who was permanent and honestly that's when we started looking elsewhere. With a system that already didn't have any type of door code or extra security when picking up your kid (it was based on teachers knowing the people that picked the kids up) it was really scary to think that if I hardly knew the teachers then they most certainly did not know me. And then lets get into the pandemic aspect. When my son started they were pretty strict on a quick dropoff at the front door and for parents to wear masks upon pick-up and not to linger more than 15 minutes when in the building. I thought it was great that they were being so strict and vigilant until they suddenly became lax. When they started mandating for the kids 2+ to start wearing masks, I swear it lasted about a day and almost questioned myself if I should even bring my kid in with a mask because obviously no one was adhering (not even the parents). Then the wave of covid cases hit and back then it was a week of quarantine that we paid for. This is when I started to see the quality that we thought we were paying for start to crumble. So it came down to three scenarios: my son was either sick, quarantining or not thrilled to go to school because of all the transitions and inconsistencies. The staff that was there looked so worn out, tired and uninspired. My son would frequently came home with wet diapers (as opposed to the teachers before that made it a point to check and change if he was wet). Since I mentioned that my son had a hard time with transitions, I think the other turning point was when we would drop him off in the morning only certain teachers would help make the transition better. We're talking just saying hi to him and showing him something of interest. Other days when those teachers weren't there we'd desperately look around for anyone willing to help out. Sometimes I'd walk around until I found a teacher and ask them to help. I get that drop-off is supposed to be quick, but I also think it's part of the responsibility to help ease that in so it becomes a routine. And hey, maybe that's how ABC does it? It's okay though because we found a school that operates much differently - his first week they helped ease the transition and he's now in his third week and automatically walks in no problem. So maybe that's what it was, maybe we weren't a good fit for ABC. Sure they have cute events, festivities and seemingly a good atmosphere, but the whole time we were there we never felt like we were part of the ABC family. read more

So thankful to have found ABC!! My son has been enrolled in ABC for just about a year and a half and I am constantly amazed with everything this school is able to do for their kiddos! My son (who is 4) absolutely loves school and has made so many great friends and has learned so much!! My only complaint if you can call it that is that they stop at Kindergarten as we would LOVE to have my son stay with the ABC team for elementary!! This school is so clean, has amazing play yards for the different ages, the fact that they have a splash pad built in for the kids during summer is incredible! They also were the only school I was able to find that had such a early drop off time available. Best place ever for your children!!! They go above and beyond to make every holiday/or event special for the kids and parents. My daughter attended from TK-Kindergarten and never had a problem with teachers or staff. Their Kindergarten program was amazing my daughter got through 3 sight word BOOKS and came out with a wealth of knowledge. My son really likes it here and loves his teachers. Compare to other schools that he's been to our we've toured this was one of the top ones. The teachers are amazing and great with our kids. So it's sad to see all these great teachers leave due to low wages. We pay a lot in tuition so we always thought the teachers were being well paid (let's admit this is one hard job) but now we've seen quite a few teachers come and go and it's sad that 2 very special teachers to us have recently left due pay. It breaks my heart for my son because he's bonded with these teachers and now they are constantly bringing teachers in from their other daycare to fill spots in. My family loves ABC and they do a lot of things right. The teachers and staff are kind, the overall program is great and my kids learn something new every day. We appreciate all events that have been hosted so far as well as the nice decorations within the center. My kids love going to ABC and have made many friends. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that I feel ABC could be more flexible when it comes to the kids nutrition. We are vegetarians and the meals are VERY meat heavy so that my kids cannot eat much there. Given the higher tuition and that it's 2023, I am disappointed because it's a rather easy ask. The snacks aren't always the healthiest either, e.g. goldfish or cheez-its. Also, when there is a kid's birthday, many parents bring sugary and unhealthy snacks. I don't think that should be given at child care centers at all. And, yes, I have brought all of this up with them, several times... I hope these things will be addressed at some point. My oldest son has been going to ABC for the last 5 years. My now 5 month old twin boys just started about 2 months ago. the Jersey staff comes very recommended and all staff I've encountered has been so supportive of the children and growth. the Director Malinda has been so supportive in my three boys growth, Mary I can personally say is a angel, she is so compassionate and loving of all children. KK and Natalie are always there for when I have a ton of questions and answer everything they can it comes to my sons development. natalie is specialized in evaluating each child and it is so amazing that she takes the time and informs us of the path our children are on and how we can help them in any way. overall, I will always recommend ABC as they are my family! Janine has been my oldest sons teacher for the last 2 1/2 years and let's just say she is hands down amazing! She is thorough and very supportive of all children! All he talks about is how he loves his Mrs. Janine and how excited he is to see her.! She truly has made a impact on these children and All staff has been very supportive and encouraging. Only con with the school is, in my personal experience my son has encountered many teachers some who are not very interested in helping and guiding the students but would rather gossip and talk while not paying attention on the play yard. This was when he was in the 2 to 3 year rooms. We encountered a few teachers that just did not care! The nice part is that when you talk with anyone in the management team and share your concerns they truly listen to you and will address all concerns. Every single time we walk in, the front desk staff greet us by name with a smile, and say goodbye to us with a smile each time we walk out. Our son's teachers have been fabulous. He is 4 and we'd been struggling with the daily 2 hour rest time because it was keeping him up until 9:30pm. He hasn't been a napper for two years. I brought up my frustrations with his teachers, and they have made accommodations for him to try to keep him quiet but awake. I truly appreciate the efforts made on their part to help me out. Yes, it's expensive, but most quality daycares are. And I've never understood why daycares charge tuition for days and weeks they aren't open. If someone could explain that to me, I'd be forever grateful! However, you get SO many extras with ABC - DJ dance parties, petting zoos, visits from the K-9 unit, the tooth fairy, etc. The education is also on point. My son started counting in Spanish the other day, and also singing the months of the year. I'm continually impressed and plan to enroll my daughter once she's 18 months. read more

Abc has been such an amazing experience for my son and our family. The teachers and staff truly love kids and make our son feel special. Our son is only 2 so there isn't a strong focus on academics at this age which is to be expected. Manners are taught, crafts are done daily and lots of outside play. Each time we have called for an extra drop in day they were able to accommodate us. We will continue with ABC till our son is ready for kindergarten. We especially love Ms. Daisy, Ms. Alissa, Ms. Sophia and Ms.Yanine **My only suggestion would be it would be nice to offer parenting classes and/or seminars. read more

My boys really loved ABC ! They grew up there! It was our home away from home! What else could we ask for! We were family and they were our family.. looking after our Family our babies. From learning to be away from Mommy and Daddy to potty training to finger painting. And then on to Zoo Phonics and reading to writing and arithmetic. The snacks are great, but they Loved Ms Tony's cooking. I thought a calm environment would help our boys to be calm, instead ABC embraced their wiggles and giggles. I would like to thank Malinda the business owner for being on top of the game running the best daycare in town, throughout the years of my son assisting at ABC we have been treated to the best parties for the kids and one of the things that makes the daycare stand out is how awesome they treat their employees, I have walked in to all kinds of situations to where they value each employee at an individual level. This week they celebrated another 27 years employee working at the center, ( i know they have 3 employees working for the center for 27 years each) the staff is a strong team from the office to the teachers, and each teacher has always been so caring and loving to my son. As hard as it is to run this kind of business Malinda has by far the best daycare in town. On several occasions some of the teachers have expressed to me some of the special things that they continue to do for the staff and the great benefits. My daughter attends their program Monday, Wednesday and Friday half days. Before enrolling her, we toured the facility and the staffs were super friendly. However, once she is enrolled, the staff is not all that great. The staff at the front desk is not as friendly anymore and people in management seems so fake. They have some monitors where you can watch your child interact in their classroom but the door is always closed; therefore, some times I cannot go in! Also, it seems that every time I drop off and pick up my child, the kids in the classroom is either playing in the room or out in the playground. I rarely see them working on activities. read more

I am a new parent and sadly had to return to work so soon. I have many anxieties leaving my daughter (3 mths)with anyone. I have been on the waitlist at ABC for sometime and just got a call to be able to enroll my daughter. I am so excited that my child will be apart of ABC. Everyone I spoke to were so sweet and polite. I visited the center and it was clean, well organized and the nursery was so cute. They provided everything she will need to continue her development which is awesome. What I love most was watching all parents pick up their children and hearing the excitement of their kids sharing their stories for the day. My nieces and nephew all started at ABC since infant care and to see how much they enjoy being there and how great they are with other kids brings me such reassurance that my daughter will be in good hands. Also my daughter amazing aunt works with ABC as been with them for over 10 years. She always speaks so highly of ABC and has trusted them with her own children. That speaks volumes to me as well. Over the summer we had the pleasure to be invited to our nephew graduation at ABC they did such a touching performance and incorporated ASL which I thought was amazing. I think a great addition would be able to teach Spanish as well. Starting children at young age with multiple languages statically shown success. Anyways the owners also attended and spoke about their passion about their work and has so far been represented so well. They truly captured the feeling of one big happy family and that's the experience I want for my daughter. The feeling of family, love, and safety. I couldn't be any more fortunate and blessed to have found this daycare and school for my daughter she's been through the pre-K program and just began kindergarten full-time and she couldn't be any happier. The teachers are great and staff who watch over her are really amazing people, I've never felt as though she's not in a safe place. Unfortunately this place is a money trap and they take full advantage of you as much as they can. I've paid over $500 in the past three weeks for a kindergarten enrollment fees and weekly charges. I've had numerous conversations with the accounting staff to explain some of the charges to me and quite frankly they really don't care. They ask a lot from the parents as to be on time and not break their contract, or give donations for the school and staff from time to time, and I have respectively done so for the past two years. Now I'm struggling with my expenses and wondering how I'll be making it through this school year. I would recommend this school to any family no questions asked, but please do some research before choosing a private day care and facility that you are one hundred percent confident in affording. read more

Let me begin with WHY I give this facility 1 star......The Director/Owner. Had myself OR my 3 year old child been treated with respect...or...with ANY kind of empathy, I would be rating differently, and would have felt differently. Period. I was a returning parent with my 2nd child, as I had a WONDERFUL experience with my 1st child attending this facility. Very sadly, this place has gone under in quality of care provided to the staff...and children (my opinion). I DO want to clarify that the teachers are amazing, loving, and knowledgeable about child development, behavior, and so forth. I doubt this to be true of the individual in charge. I never believed the rumors of caring only about the all mighty dollar....until now. In my past experience with my 1st child, we had the same teacher throughout each rotation. With my 2nd, we were experiencing teacher, after teacher, after teacher, after CONSTANTLY changing environment.....tacky, frustrating, and generally CONFUSING to small children...AND parents. My 2nd child's first year here was amazing..no issues whatsoever. THEN, specific staff left (understandably), and then our family went thru something that was very difficult for our child. Naturally, behavior due to stress over the situation began to occur. Running the facility and all...I would EXPECT an individual to know and empathize with this situation...that IS NOT what we received. Instead, we were targeted to the point of being VERY uncomfortable to pick up our child because we always felt the individual in charge RIGHT behind us...WAITING for our child to act out. For anyone who understands how stress affects a child...and feels someone "watching" them....you'd act out as well. As an adult, I would as well. Rather than the warmness I continually did not receive from this person concerning our child...I sat by during numerous occasions while she held my child by the arms and made him sit...while SHE reprimanded him. While I...MY CHILD'S MOTHER, stood by and was made to watch her do so. Let me be clear that when I say "held", I am referring to placing one's hands on my child AT ALL....period. I am my child's mother, and this individual should have had the common sense that reprimanding my child IN FRONT of me was totally and COMPLETELY unacceptable. Oh yes..let me not forget that I was promised "materials" to "help my child"...that we NEVER received. We figured so much. I will end on this......we are now with another facility...and we have experienced NO issues or difficulty whatsoever. Could our child have been responding to this woman's coldness and lack of nurturing...ummmm...YUP. My child is a human being and was treated like utter CRAP by this individual who wanted him GONE. She did...and made it happen....period. THANKFULLY it was a blessing in disguise....my child is happier...doing WELL....and a LOT less anxious. Doesn't take science people.....RUN from this place....and NOT because of the staff.....they are lovely people who are missed by us. OH...and on a side note...we pay about $40 LESS for a BEAUTIFUL facility that offers an AMAZING curriculum for our child.....he is actually LEARNING and THRIVING. ***Btw....I hold a doctoral degree in clinical psychology.....I know a tid bit of what I am taking about.
