If you're looking for a school for your little one, you've found it…read more My son Isaiah started Kiddie Academy two months before turning three, and I truly have nothing but amazing things to say about this place. He has grown so much during his time here--not only developmentally, but socially as well. Right now he's in TK, and I absolutely adore Ms. Lena and Ms. Jenn. They have taught Isaiah more than I could have ever imagined. His writing, language, and hand-eye coordination have improved immensely. But beyond that, they truly care for these kids. My son constantly raves about his teachers. I also want to give credit where credit is absolutely due. Thank you so much to Ms. Sara, Ms. Bree, and Ms. Mal for being such a big part of my son's journey at Kiddie Academy. You all helped make his school days easier and have been such a positive influence during the year he's been there. And a very special shoutout to Isaiah's very first teacher, Ms. Omoto. When you see your child run up to a teacher just to give them a hug, you know they truly care about your child. Thank you for paving the way and for always being so kind to my son. All in all, I highly recommend this school. I'm very sad to say we are leaving Kiddie Academy because we're moving. If circumstances were different--or if I could just take the Murrieta Kiddie Academy crew with us--there would be zero hesitation in staying. We love you all so much! - Marissa

It's hard being a mama and having to leave her with someone all day but I am happy I chose Kiddie Academy as she is treated like their own. They also have cameras to check on her throughout the day. This was super important to me when choosing a school for her.

It was an awesome event and we had so much fun! My son is special needs and I asked about a sensory bag and it was so cool what they provided for the sensory, which included headphones which we used for the balloon drop. The exhibits were so awesome and very engaging for my six-year-old son. His favorite exhibit was where you put scarfs into the little wind tunnel and it would come up the top. But there's so many things for all different ages, including even like 6 to 7 month old. It's such an awesome place and I wish we had something like this where we live! The staff was so friendly and so good with communicating and answering all the questions. We had such a great time for the special event of the balloon drop where they had music and crafts and they just made it feel so festive and fun. It was definitely a highlight of our day! We totally will come back next time we visit Palm Springs!

BEST WEDDING VENUE EVER!…read more My husband and I dreamed of a wedding where everyone could stay together onsite, immersed in nature, with no worries about driving after a night of fun, and Camp Osito Rancho made that dream a reality. Our families stayed in the health center, lodge, and electrified cabins, while our friends embraced the adventure of summer cabins and tents. The venue offers so many stunning spaces, from the spacious dining hall for meals to the stage/amphitheater with fire pits--perfect for s'mores and late-night stories. We exchanged vows at the top of a hill near the outdoor pavilion, with a gorgeous backdrop of pine trees and a view of Big Bear Lake in the distance. We were able to offer our guests camp activities like archery and a pool day, as well as had room to setup other activities like craft tables and lawn games. The biggest perk was the complete freedom to choose our own vendors, allowing us to create a truly personalized experience (huge shoutout to Scratch Kitchen for catering--our guests still rave about the food). We spent a year making signs, collecting décor, buying solar lights, and crafting to transform this Girl Scout camp into a full-blown wedding festival. If you're up for planning the details, this venue is the ultimate blank canvas. Last but not least, the Camp Osito Rancho team is absolutely amazing. A huge thanks to Angel for her help throughout the year, Ryan for his help throughout the weekend, and to Gerardo for the tour that sold us from the start. For a wedding that feels like an unforgettable getaway, this place is pure magic

Me and my mom went to Pathfinder Ranch for a few days in the winter for a field trip and it was so…read moremuch fun! First of all, our naturalists name was Kestrel. She was amazing and made sure that we were all having a good time. We did many activities such as archery and canoeing. All the naturalists put down very strict rules to ensure everybody's safety. Here is a list of all the activities our group did (keep in mind that the activities that your group will partake in will be different depending on what your school bought): making a fire activity, compass activity, night hike, shelter building activity, rock climbing, team challenge, farm, herpetology, mad science fair, gold hill hike, canoeing, horse back riding, and archery. This is the schedule that I went through. Lights on was at 7:00 am, but some woke up earlier to shower. Then breakfast began at around 7:30 and went until 8:00, then we went to do one activity with our activity group after a 15 minute break period. After that activity we would go to lunch from around 11:45-12:30 (I don't remember the exact times those are just an estimate). Then we would go do two more activities with a 15 minute break between the two. We would have dinner around 5:15-6:00. After dinner we would have 1 hour of free time to talk with our friends or go play in the rec room (you should bring a card/board game to play with your friends, I brought twister!). After the hour (so around 7) you would do a night activity. One example of this is the night hike. After the night activity, which is normally an hour long, we went to bed. Lights went out at 9! The schedule was so compact that me and my friends were never bored. Something was always happening, and you were always having fun! The cabin situation was as you would expect for 30 or so kids in one room. It was really chaotic. I would recommend bringing some ear plugs, because the talking was no joke. In the middle of the night it was funny, but once you had to wake up at 7 to go on a 3 hour long hike it wasn't anymore. In each cabin, there were two wings where students would sleep, with one chaperon sleeping area in the middle. Each wing had about 15 bunk beds. In each cabin there were also two bathrooms, which all contained three stalls, three sinks, and three showers. The bathrooms were very clean which I and everybody else who had to use them appreciated. Now for the food. For the taste, it was a hit or miss. Here is a list of some things that we were given (I might have forgotten some): fried chicken, pizza, burgers, tacos, barbecue chicken, pasta, brownies, cookies, and s'mores. The only two meals that I didn't like were the fried chicken and pasta. I did appreciate the salad bar that they had available for any kids who didn't like the food served though. They had a system of having a kid chosen everyday from the table to serve as the "waiter" (they were called a hopper), which I liked as well. If the pitcher needed refilling or there wasn't anymore food on the table the hopper would go and take care of it. Overall, the whole experience was super fun! Though I barely got any sleep, it was a small price to pay for all the fun I had with my friends. 5 stars, will definitely never forget!!

She enjoyed the rocket launch, stargazing, zip line, and the lift up into the tree. First true experience away from home without family like many others. She only had good things to say about the staff and food options. Luckily no bed bug issues like prior reviews. Shout out to Beatrice for being awesome with the kids! -2 stars for the bathroom/shower situations. It doesn't sound like there are many bathrooms for the amount of kids there. She mentioned some being clogged and feeling rushed due to several others needing to use the bathrooms. There were so many activities that she felt like there weren't many breaks to use the bathroom. In her dorm there were only 2 bathrooms/showers. They got back late after 9pm and rushed to squeeze people through to shower. People were barging in having to use the bathroom as others showered. Apparently the shower curtain was so minimal, another girl used an extra bed sheet to help create privacy, which all the girls appreciated. Maybe add a couple port-a-potties?! Might be wrong, but also sounded like not many trustworthy sources for water and hydration outside of meal time.

The staff was amazing! Patient, fun, and great with the kids. Lincoln, Scout, Spencer, and Steve were favorites. The food was easily the best camp food we've had. They had their day of helping with setup and cleanup which taught teamwork. Activities were nonstop fun with zipline, Skycoaster, rockets, stargazing, climbing, and even microgravity in the pool. The chaperone lounge with Wi-Fi, coffee, and snacks was a lifesaver. Big shoutout to Josh, the director, for keeping everything running smooth. AstroCamp has been an awesome experience both times. Highly recommend!

We had a mixed bag of adventures at Camp Nawakwa. Lol…read more There were a wide variety of activities and we had a camp staff to lead us in each. We loved the nature hike we had "Jelly" (a couple of our groups got rained out-obviously to no fault of the camp), we enjoyed archery, paint ball sling shots with "Stitch", painting wood necklaces, drama circle, and an amphitheater with breathtaking views of the the sunset. We loved our hike to the lake for canoeing. I too thought the pool was chilly but it was clean! Their swim rules seemed to be really intense to me. "No jumping off the edge of the pool" hmmm ok. In my opinion overly cautious. However, the Rock wall was a blast, equipment was in good condition. Hatchet throwing was hard, but fun. I wish the hatchets were sharp enough to grab the wood. It was rare anyone stuck one into the log rounds. Some combination of wood being too hard or axes not balanced correctly made that activity a struggle. We enjoyed trying. The team building activities were thoughtful and stretched our girls as individuals and forced team unity. Maybe my favorite part of all of camp. They lost a star for food quality and portions but the staff was always in good spirit. I also wish our group had the entire cafeteria to ourselves as we often were low on space at tables and often went outside as our designated seating was full. But the food was served on time and they got a lot of people food in timely fashion. They were organized. Our cabins were dry when it rained and i felt safe from the elements and wildlife that can live nearby. Some mattresses were thicker than others. I was comfortable enough for a week of camping. The plumbing struggled at times but not sure that was the camps fault or the 85 GIRLS who MAY have not disposed of things properly. Lol Overall I think with some retraining on camp cooking and a minor tweak here and there this would be a 5 star camp. The location was beautiful. The staff was friendly. The activities were super fun!
