My toddler loves visiting the doctor! The staff is always welcoming and gentle with my girl since her very first newborn visit and I always feel listened to and reassured when listing concerns about my child's health. I lived close to this office but even after moving I would rather drive the 30 minutes than change practices. I'm honestly very disappointed and upset with how we were treated during my daughter's appointment . We arrived on time, but the check-in process was a nightmare. They make you use a laptop to update information, and the system was extremely slow . I was doing everything they asked, but by the time I finished, it said we were late -- and we were less than 5 minutes behind the appointment time . I spoke to the receptionist and explained everything, but instead of understanding, she just said, "You're late, nothing I can do." No help, no solution, no flexibility at all. They basically blamed us for the delay caused by their own slow and outdated system . That's just unfair. What really made me uncomfortable is that I couldn't help but feel there was some discrimination involved . We were treated with a cold attitude, and I honestly feel like it was because we are a different ethnicity. Why were others getting more patience and support, but not us??? Why no understanding??? This place is unorganized, disrespectful, and clearly doesn't value all of its patients equally. We won't be coming back. read more

You call the office to make an appointment, you get an answering machine that drones on for a minute or two before it gives you the buttons to press to get the appointment desk. When you press the button to make an appointment, the script starts all over again. It circles around and the only way to get out of that loop is to press another number. So you can easily spend five minutes or more before anyone answers the phone. Nobody seemed interested in fixing this when I pointed it out. Can't comment on the doctors. We never saw the same one twice. If you have more than one child, the patient portal mixes them up. Don't ask me how. My kids were on Florida Kid Care (Medicaid). They decided they weren't going to take Florida Kid Care any longer and dumped us. My guess is they increased their private patient base and decided that they didn't need patients that had Florida Kid Care. No wonder people take their kids to the hospital when they're sick instead of a pediatrician's office. read more

I wish we could give more than 5 stars. Our daughter sees Dr. Lucier and what an amazing doctor she is. We are new parents and have never felt rushed when we have a million questions, Dr. Lucier takes her time answering every single one and has never made us feel bad or dumb for some of the questions we have asked. She is so gentle with our daughter and is so kind to all of us. Everyone from the front desk to the nurses are always so nice and make us feel reassured that our baby is in great hands. There are always last minute appointments available and their website is very user friendly and easy to figure out. I highly recommend this practice and specifically this doctor!! read more

My daughter was prescribed an EpiPen for peanut allergies in March. The pharmacy notified me that it was on hold and I needed to contact the provider for them to resubmit or call them to clarify. I called the office and told them this multiple times but the issue kept being prolonged and they said "They're waiting for insurance to call them because insurance doesn't want to pay." to which I asked what to do in the event of a reaction. This is a new diagnosis and she has more than peanut allergies but that is the most extreme, so a reaction was likely. The lady on the other end said to just take her to a hospital. It is not always THAT easy, especially us already living an almost 10 minute drive from the main road and with a person in anaphylactic shock, EVERY MINUTE COUNTS. So the obvious "take her to a hospital" is great but an epipen should be priority but it was not theirs. Fast forward to a month ago and yearly check ups are due but I'm not wanting some vaccinations and I express this to the scheduling coordinator who rudely says "It's mandatory to be fully vaccinated if you want to be seen here." and as I begin to try to ask her a question, she hangs up the phone on me. Also, I was able to get the EpiPen. The doctor just needed to specify which brand based on what the insurance will pay for. It was that simple. To see medical professionals and their support staff have such a lackadaisical attitude towards pediatric patients and their parents saddens me but I can only say it is what it is. read more

I absolutely love this place, it's the best place you can find for your child. The doctors care about your child's wellness, they follow up with you to see how they doing, you can call at anytime and you can speak with someone about health concerns and they will tell you what to do. Normally we love this location, but recently with the virtual visits (a video chat to ensure that the child who is sick remains home and doesn't come into their location) on the phone, have been a hassle. The Conway location's internet went out, and a doctor didn't answered our virtual call for about 20 mins. So then we called in to see what the hold up was and they said they had to reschedule. My boyfriend and I already rearrange our schedule for the day to accommodate this appointment. We can't be seen at this time. Which is upsetting considering that our daughter is terribly sick. Tiffany at this location was not helpful. She made the process very difficult and couldn't accommodate us any further, when this was their issue, not ours. We also had a previous virtual video chat, with a physician at this location who said there wasn't anything wrong with her despite the congestion in her chest and the vibrant green mucus and snot coming out of her nose. I then decided to take her in the next following day to get her seen again by a different physician and they ended up giving her antibiotics. Which then wasn't enough, and I had to come back again, for a second round of it for our daughter. Be better, Conway! read more

Prior to giving birth I toured Growing Together Pediatrics Conway office and knew hands down there was no need to look any further. Overall, their staff is extremely professional and friendly. Things are explained thoroughly to us before they take place and we are always seen right away upon checking in. Every doctor we've seen has been amazing and their portal system keeps everything organized in one place including appointment reminders. read more

Things I love about this place: 1) Dr Antennor! She is a phenomenal Doctor, super personable with a great bedside manor. Dr. Rodriguez has been my Son's doctor for 3 years. Every time we go to see the doctor, we are greeted with open smiles, professionalism and friendly personalities. The worst feeling is when you go to the doctor with a scared child and you're greeted with attitude or there lobby is empty of toys or anything to keep the children busy. I love it when we go to the doctor because I can be at ease since I can relax and my child can play with toys or watch movies before being called for his appointment. The biggest and plus about my experience has been their ability to not having you wait to be called to see the doctor. If my appointment is at 8:30, we will see the doctor by 8:35. We moved to Orlando in 2016. My daughter is severely disabled and Dr. Barfield had no issue taking her as a patient. Dr. Barfield takes her time during all our appointments and always calls to check on my daughter after a sick visit. Through word of mouth the practice has grown and you will rarely find a patient who is upset. The in depth and personal connection you make with each provider is remarkable and hard to find in this area of town. They work with you, for you, and not against you or for your money! People travel from all over Florida because they know they will get the best care there over any other office in Florida. I have no idea how this place has any positive reviews. I've never been treated so rudely in my life. I walk and say hi, no response, no acknowledgement of any kind. I've got a baby in my arms with a fever of 101, crying, nose running, I'm desperate for her to see a doctor, it's our first time/appointment and they're so rude I want to leave but I need my baby to see a doctor.. so I sat in the filthy lobby and found another office that was able to get us in right away.. and turned put to be absolutely amazing. read more

I love this place ! My daughters Aunt found it for her and now I have all of kids going here . They play and interact with the kids and speak to them because well the child is the patient . They make funny face balloons out of the latex gloves and I'm always in and out within an hour . The office is big enough and not cramped like some pediatric offices I've been to . If I could, I'd give -100 stars I would. This office is the worst. Dr. Barfield is the worst pediatrician known on this earth. I have been giving her multiple chances and I have had enough of her unprofessionalism. She doesn't care about the child nor the parent. She has a terrible attitude most times as if she doesn't want to help. She cares more about my child going to school and not receiving the proper care. She says, "My other patients doesn't ask for FMLA papers for work, so I don't feel comfortable signing yours! I don't feel comfortable signing this allowing the child to miss a certain amount of days from school when the X-rays appear to be fine!" As if you cannot still be in pain with an X-ray that looks normal. She's a joke and needs her license removed for negligence. Don't take your child there. She doesn't care about kids. read more

Love this place! All of the staff we have seen have been great. Everyone is knowledgeable and takes time to explain everything. I am a new mom and I love that the staff takes the extra time with us. The wait time is very short every time I've gone. I go in the morning when it is busy and haven't waited more than 15 mins. I went to the new location in Ocoee and I love it! The staff is nice, Dr. Diogene is great and they left no stone uncovered during my children's exam. This is the best pediatric experience we have had since we moved to Fl 6 years ago. The office is clean and they use a lot of up to date technology during your entire visit. This practice is by far the best in town. My husband grew up in the Conway area so we left about five minutes away for a very long time. We now move to 45 minutes away and we still travel the distance to be able to see any of the doctors at this practice. Dr. Barfield is our primary but we have also had great experiences with all of the other doctors and nurses as well. The building is superclean and super kid friendly with cuteDecorations in every room. I love that I can check in so quickly on the iPad. The staff is wonderful and always friendly to my toddler. I just wish they had a location in seminole County so I didn't have to drive so far. We had decided on this practice prior to our daughter being born and one thing that made us even more confident and it was that when we were at Winnie Palmer in the day following her birth and we told doctors who are pediatrician was going to be almost every single doctor said "they are the best". These doctors are clueless. Brought my 2 year old in for a rash around her mouth and around her diaper area. It's been 6 months and blood work to figure out the issue to be told she was allergic to dairy. Took all dairy away from her only to be told it could be strep related. Absolutely love this office, we have been coming here since it first opened and Dr.Barfield was the only doctor practicing at Growing Together but just as we love Dr. Barifled we also love all the doctors she has brought aboard. The staff is so kind, loving, and caring. I would recommend this office to anyone that wants to be treated with love,respect, and that likes to be talked to in away we all can understand. Everything that you could ever possible want in a doctor, you will find that with Dr. Rodriguez. She listens to any and every concern you could possible have about your little one. She is very well educated and you can tell she loves what she does for a living. The actual office itself is very clean! They have a sick side and a well side. The waiting room is spacious, so is the examining room. Every examining room has a t.v. Which is a great way to keep children and adults alike entertained, while waiting on the doctor. Every time I go here, I probably spend less then 10 minutes in the waiting room before we get called back. The nurses are so friendly and very good with kids. I recommend this doctors office to all the little ones. I also recommend seeing Dr. Rodriguez, as she will not disappoint you or your little one. read more

Can I give 7 Stars?! When I was pregnant with my first daughter 2 and 1/2 years ago I was looking for pediatrician and went online and found Dr. Janelle Barfield with amazing credentials and she was at the top of my list (as a first time mom we go internet crazy and search EVERYTHING!) When I went into labor and had my daughter at Winnie Palmer every nurse that asked which pediatrician I picked and said Dr. Barfield the response was always "she's amazing" "she's the best!" "We love her!" . And with that my confidence was set high with Dr. Barfield! After going to her and all the amazing advice and help and support she gave me is the reason I didn't give up breastfeeding and stuck to it, I asked her about breastfeeding because I truly wanted it to work and she without bias didn't pressure me into continuing but gave me advice and told me an inspiring story, and it worked! She was so kind with my daughter that I told her to my mother and now my teenage sister goes to her as well and has Dr Rodriguez and said she's a GREAT doctor as well. Then to make matters even BETTER 2 months ago when I gave birth to my second child, the PEDIATRICIAN at Winnie Palmer went to visit my room and asked me who I had chosen and when I told her Barfield she said "Yes that where MY kids go!" This validates all my research, if a Baby Pediatrician at HOSPITAL takes her OWN children there BARFIELD is definitely the BEST!!!!! In the last 2.5 years of making appointments and visiting I have always experienced quality care with exceptional staffing. The office has so much to offer, you walk in and you are greeted with a calm and clean atmosphere TV screens in sitting and waiting rooms, books for your child to read,if you breastfeed you have a clean comfortable room to sit in for privacy. Dr Janelle Barfield is not a good doctor . I will not recommend her to any new and old mother , She was my son Dr since when my son was 6 days old until my son was almost 3 years old that I decided to change him doctor, You have to tell her everything, they are making you filling out paper about your child and never give you the result. My son is autism, she never see anything even though I was telling her my son does not communicate, once I change my son Dr, his new Dr was able to send me see a neurologist. NIGHTMARE!!!! They prescribed my son amoxicillin as a "precaution". IMMEDIATELY he broke out in blisters and rashes. We brought him back the next day and were told it was normal. They then prescribed him two different creams. A day later my sons face and hands break out. Contact the doctor, am told I will be contacted back. TELL THEM THEY HAVE TOLD ME THAT BEFORE I WANT TO TALK TO A DOCTOR NOW. THE NURSE SAYS ILL PUT THIS AS A PRIORITY CALL AND STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CALL. NEVER BRING YOUR CHILD HERE. They will misdiagnose and never contact you back regarding the health and wellbeing of your child. read more

I really wanted to like this place but after several misdiagnosis it was time to go. The first was that my son was lactose intolerant. He is not. I was told to cut a bunch of foods out of my diet in order to keep breastfeeding, my milk supply plummeted and then the doctor put him on soy. Again he never was milk intolerant. Then they diagnosed him with eczema which he doesn't have. The final draw was when I questioned the diagnosis of eczema the doctor said you know why I know its eczema because I'm a doctor. Thanks but no thanks! Then they messed up our billing and charged us over a hundred dollars. It took them two months to fix it and by that time our insurance company would not reimbursement us. So disappointed. Also when they gave my son his first round of shots I asked to hold him. The nurse said she didn't feel comfortable with that pulled him out of my arm's held him down. He was hysterical. My ped now always let's me hold him. read more
