Thier front desk and office manager are the reasoing for them loosing patients. they discharged my children after a text only conversation saying i was aggressive. This was the only way they would speak to me via text, they wouldnt pick up the phone. poor service, i had to pay for my kids to have cleanings at other doctors offices due to the front staff lack of accountability. read more

1. They have a $45 late cancellation fee for appointments 2. The dentist there will try to do other procedures you didn't agree to for that appointment. I came in for my child's fillings and left with him having crowns in the front. Was never advised to me prior. Never provided me the paperwork for this procedure either. First visit all front desk personnel, phenomenal customer service. They were able to squeeze me in for a second procedure on the same day. which avoided for me to take another day off from work. The Assistant is highly intellectually & knowledgeable & thorough. The Dentist was professional, remarkable bed side manner, she listened, explained, and explained all my concerns. She made my daughter at ease, she genuinely cared, and explained step by step as she worked on making my 7 year old smile more beautiful! read more

During the COVID-19 outbreak, I contacted growing faces for an emergency with my daughter having an abscess on her gum. My daughter is 6 years old and is terrified of the dentist, but she openly and willingly went into the facility with no problem. They have a nurturing approach and I was 100% happy that my daughter was happy. They took care of the problem and I am grateful. read more

This office is NOT child-friendly and has deplorable bedside manners when dealing with children who are uncomfortable when going to the dentist. They also communicate through text and could be more personable and professional. We went to this office twice to have a broken tooth fixed. When I initially made the appointment, I was specific about what was needed. However, when we went to the appointment, we were told they didn't do that procedure at their office; Red flag #1. As parents, we know the dentist can be a scary place for kids and my son was extremely nervous and fearful. Neither the dentist nor her staff displayed professional empathy to try to soothe or calm him down. They just watched. Needless to say, the work was horrible. The tooth was short and crooked; Red flag 2. To make a long story short, we went back to have them correct their work. Again the professionalism was lackluster, the dentist showed no empathy and went as far as leaving the room when I asked her to give him a minute to compose himself after he repeatedly said he could not breathe. Ms. Hillel was very aggressive and even went as far as to say she would "stop" in the middle of the procedure and not finish. Extremely unprofessional and unethical. I have never experienced anything of this sort! For a pediatric dentist, the staff needs empathy training and training on how to deal with children. I would go as far as saying, the dentist needed cultural awareness training. I would highly NOT recommend this office for children!!!! AT ALL!!! read more

I am 100% pleased with Dr.Hillel. I initially had my children go somewhere else. I knew my daughter had pain in her tooth, so I took her to the dentist we had at the time which told me my daughter was fine. Furious; I went online, found Dr.Hillel and I'm so glad I did. I was able to make an emergency Appt. Come to find out, she had 6 cavities, 3 of which needed crowns. Dr. Hillel was there to help immediately and fixed the one that was In most pain. We have not been to Growing Faces for more than 2 years. Got a text message recently saying we made an appointment and there would be NO SHOW FEE. This is ridiculous! We NEVER made the appointment. We've been there only once but felt really uncomfortable. The doctor tried to make you feel guilty that you did not do a good job taking care of your children and tried to sell you all kinds of services that you do not need. Scared of them and never went back. Shocked to get the text message and furious about the NOW SHOW FEE. Also watch out the credit card unauthorized charge. We planned to do something there but I changed my mind. Asked them to return the downpay from credit card. They did return my money. BUT...watch out, a week later, I got an unauthorized charge from my credit card. I was able to got the same service we need from another dentist for free. My friend had similar experience and they stop going there. Please watch out and think carefully. Please note you have to wait for an hour for the service. The other dentists we went to only need to wait for 15 minus. Strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

After having a horrible experience at another pediatric dentist office, my daughter experienced anxiety and fear over going to the dentist. Growing faces helped my daughter and I both feel comfortable again. They discussed with me different options I had to fix my daughters cavities. They definitely care about their patients! We came to dr Hillel for my infant's tongue tie. He was one week old and needed a triple frenectomy, Dr. Hillel was amazing with my baby, she was super knowledgeable and gave me tons of information that put me at ease (I'm a first time mom so I was a little overwhelmed and worried about the procedure). I was so impressed with our whole experience. The office answered the phone when we called (something I wasn't able to get with 3 other practices) and were very sweet and accommodating. The appointment was wonderful. My 4 year old went from being scared to go to begging to come back soon. Karese, the hygienist, was amazing. She has a calling to work with kids! Dr. Hillel had a lot of patience with my son who is sensory sensitive and was very nervous about coming to the dentist for the firat time. The reason i am writing this review and giving it 5 stars is because she is the one who found and I immediately addressed a huge problem with my sons airway that I nor his pediatricians ever noticed. She took the time to talk to me and walk me through all the necessary steps i needed to take to help my son. She is VERY informational, intelligent and sympathetic. She made my sons case a priority and provided me with pertinent resources. I went into her office expecting to just have my sons teeth cleaned and left there feeling that Dr. Hillel may have just saved my sons life. If it werent for her, my baby son could be facing years of health problems. I will be forever grateful for her and her friendly, patient and kind team! Thank you so much guys! Dr. HILLEL is super friendly and gentle! I called growing faces because my son had this strange bubble on his gums that was causing him pain and discomfort. The moment i mentioned my son was in pain the woman on the phone insisted i come in right away so Dr. Hillel could look at him. I was so happy he didn't have to wait the weekend to get an appointment unlike the two offices i called before i found this one that couldn't get him in until Monday! As soon as i came in we were greeted by a warm and friendly front desk staff and continued with the assistants. Then I met Dr. Hillel. She was so kind and sweet! She took a look at my son and saw that he had an infection and needed an extraction of one of his baby teeth. She offered to do the extraction the same day if i didn't mind waiting a bit since there were other patients . My sons tooth was out as quickly as he sat down. She was a magician with how quickly she did the extraction. My son had such s positive experience that he asked me if we could make this his regular dentist. Dr. Naomi Hillel is the Best!! Her kind and gentle manner radiates throughout the entire practice. During our first visit,among other things, I mentioned my twin daughters snore while asleep and that they never sleep through the night. Dr. Hillel informed us about the critical roles in facial and airway development. It was at that point ALF was introduced to us. She explained to us that using this device would establish good jaw relationships and favorable growth patterns. The results after having the ALF device put in were unbelievable. There is no more snoring, they both sleep through the entire night and I've even noticed that the device has actually promoted better chewing(i.e eating a meal once took about 10-15 minuets, now it's more like 20-25 minuets) amazing and life changing to say the least. Even at 5 years old they've both mentioned how long it takes for them to eat now. I can not end this review without highlighting what an incredible staff that Dr. Hillel has, so patient, so efficient, so welcoming, so embracing, they are all a cohesive unit emulating all the qualities of Dr Hillel. First time to this dentist. Front desk receptionists were very nice and friendly. Environment seemed child friendly when you walk in. The minute we walked past those doors into the examination room it went down hill from there. The two girls that were taking X-rays barely spoke English. (Which is not s problem.) the problem was my daughter couldn't really understand them. My daughter, like any child was nervous to see a dentist. They did not make her feel comfortable. They began to speak Spanish to each other about my daughter. They didn't realize I understood Spanish. Very rude. Then we walked into the examination room and I have to say it was a very bland area for a pediatric dentist. Not very kid approved. Aside from that Dr. Hillel walked in with a pleasant voice and tone initially. My daughter was nervous and Dr. Hillel was not very comforting once she began examining her. She demanded that my daughter lay down with a stern voice. I felt she was very rough with her. She then began to tell me my daughter had an anxiety due to the fact that she couldn't open her mouth big enough or breath through her nose. My daughter on a normal basis is very calm and well behaved. She said she was also tongue tied and needed some form of speech therapy and suggested someone she knew. She then began to tell me her tongue was too big for her mouth and that's when she began to suggest ALF orthodontics to widen her jaw. The way this was all presented seemed like she was trying to sell me something that my daughter didn't really need. She literally saw her for 10 minutes. We were polite and finished the lousy cleaning my daughter got and never went back. I took my daughter to another real pediatric dentist and wow what a difference. There that dentist realized she was definitely not tongue tied and he told me she was too young for any orthodontic. He would revisit that if necessary when she would get a little older. That anxiety that Dr. Hillel said my daughter had, never came out with this new dentist. And that was because this new dentist we went to actually worked with kids to make them feel comfortable. My daughter wants to go back. Oh and by the way. At dr Hillel office, they wanted to charge me $110 for laughing gas.... The new dentist I then saw only charges $40. Dr. Hillel is a rip off and I felt like she was making all this stuff up to make some money off of me. Never again will I step foot in that office no will I ever recommend her to anyone I now.
