Very soon after, the President of the company, Joe Mann, called me and asked me several questions. After not being able to identify the source of the problem, he said he would be right over. He came over immediately and found that it was just a blown fuse in the furnace and he replaced it. Thankfully, that's all that it was. I was very grateful for his immediate response and service, which came with a pleasant attitude. I would absolutely recommend Forsburg Furnace to anyone.

Our regular HVAC guy was laid up. Contacted Volkman to diagnose a heat problem on our 2nd floor…read more Volkman kept his appointment & diagnosed our problem as a nonfunctioning duct dampener. The cost for the diagnosis was $224.19. The estimate to return & change out the malfunctioning dampener was $836.05. This would have been a total charge of $1,060.24 to replace a faulty $200.00 dampener. Our regular HVAC tech recovered, stopped & replaced the dampener for a total of $385.00. This included re-diagnosing the problem, parts & labor. Problem solved. I would never use Carl Volkman & sons HVAC LLC again. Their prices are exorbitant & unfair.

Appolo installed new furnace and central a/c unit in my home…read more At the time of the installation, the overflow preventer in the a/c unit was stuck, resulting in flooding my carpeted basement. The initial repair person who came to see what caused the flood was the one who told me that the overflow preventer install caused the flood yet Appolo refused to reimburse me for the insurance deductible. Two years later another (different) company came for routine maintenance and showed me that the original ductwork was poorly designed because there is a rule that there should be 24 inches between secondary ducts and the end of each main line; it is clear on most online descriptions that this is ideal for maximum air flow through the system. When Appoly did the original install I had them come back because the air flow felt insufficient and they told me it was by design because the goal is to run the unit for a long time at a lower air flow for consistent temperature!!

Last week we had need of a plumber. Not knowing one we tried GP&H to fix our shower. We will never have to look for a plumber again. we had just as great an experience with their plumber as we did with out boiler. we called he was there the next day and within the next few days had ordered our parts and repaired out shower. I think it was four or five days from phone call to completion and that included ordering parts. I cannot recommend their services any higher. Above and beyond service great workmanship all in a short time!!!!! Thank you GP&H!

For those who, like myself do not know where to start in searching for the right company to service…read moreyour plumbing and heating, you may take the route of looking at customers' reviews, hoping that it will give you some sense of the company reviewed, if it is going to give you honest, quality service. Well, that is what I did, and based on customers' reviews I decided to take a chance with Pioneer Plumbing & HVAC. Well, hats off to the customers, because based on your comments, I called Pioneer Plumbing & HVAC, and left my name/number and a brief description of my concern and what needed to be done. Was called back shortly after and received SAME DAY service. He (Ryan) was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and honest! Great price too. As a senior citizen, you have to be careful of what you spend. I don't mind spending what it takes to get a problem done, but it sure can hurt if you spend and the problem is still there. But with Pioneer Plumbing & HVAC all was worth it in other words they did an excellent job beyond price!
