She explained the new process of the QR code and waiting to be called to a window. From the time I scanned the QR code at 3:12, to the time I was at the window was quicker than the 4 minutes on the sheet. Granted, I intentionally chose 3 pm because I know most people are scrambling to pick up the kids after school, and it's outside of the lunch hour or the end of the workday. Sita helped me at counter #5 and took care of me so quickly, even with the eye exam with the viewfinder machine. By 3:18, I was on line by the photo area. 3 people ahead of me and I was photo finished by 3:22 pm. The most efficient 10 minutes I've ever spent at a Revenue Office DMV. I asked if the new system was helpful for the staff, and they said that it was. You can see that for yourself, if you get there at 3 pm. I'll never go first thing in the morning before work, because that's what everyone else does. Definitely don't go there during lunch hours, either. I'm glad the new system worked out for me. What a terribly inaccurate statement. You are not a teacher, or you would not be working at the tag agency. Why don't you actually read the facts as to why cursive is no longer taught. I called ahead to find out what was needed to obtain my registration for a newly purchased vehicle. They told me my ID, a copy of my insurance card, and my old plate. Never once did they advise of a 2.5% charge to use my debit card. The poor customer service and long lines at this location are worth going somewhere else. Collinsville is 3 miles away, and the reps there are awesome. All employees at this location need all new training.
