We've been getting lunch from the Grove market food counter, and it's amazing. Well worth a trip there.

Great customer service and deli counter. Wish you would provide meats without antibiotics as Whole Foods does.

Ask the Community - Grove Market

Do they have fresh crab here? Does anyone in PG?

No fresh crab at Grove Market. I suggest going to Sea Harvest in Monterey.

Loved this place! We were heading to the beach and looking for quick and healthy ready made food to…read moretake with us. It reminded me of a smaller Whole Foods in a way. We ended up getting some salami, bread, fruit, grilled salmon, shrimp, rice, carne asada burrito, and a goat cheese salad with chicken. Everything was so delicious! The salmon was perfectly grilled and not dry at all. The apricots we got were some of the sweetest apricots we've ever had. The chicken in the salad was a bit dry but mixed into the salad was better. It had arugula, goat cheese, dried apricots, pistachios, and a balsamic vinaigrette. The service was also great and every single person we interacted with was lovely. Such a great find for us :)

Sometimes it sells out super fast so get there first thing in the morning! My son is already addicted to the smoked salmon cream cheese spread that they make in house. All the meats are grilled along with amazing fresh salads and ready to go for a quick dinner if you don't feel like cooking. They will cut up tri-tip to order for you. Lots of choices for people that are vegetarian and vegan as well. I love shopping the aisles for gourmet ingredients that you don't see anywhere else from all over the world, it definitely inspires you to cook something different and expand your culinary skills too! I wish I had more pictures to show you, but I don't want to look awkward taking them in the grocery store

Good location, customer service and products. My favorite…read morevitamin here is the fruit tart. However, in the last two months we discovered they prepare it on Saturday so it is crunchy that day , HOWEVER, if you try to buy it on Sunday, it's not crunchy anymore specially, the bottom... it is a pie at this point. Last two times it was not crunchy. . We spent 10 minutes this morning investigating why it's not crunchy anymore and that's where I got the information from. One of the staff at the patisserie suggested to recall them three days ahead of time and we ask them to prepare it the same day we want to buy it... maybe we will give it a third try for a Sunday (I hope they don't give us one made the day before and tell us" oh, it's all the same"...) By the way, they discontinued, the blueberry almond tart: that one stayed crunchy for days. I'll come back next time to either give them an extra star or to take off one more star, depending on how crunchy the tarte will be. By the way France, patisserie does not stay From day today. It is baked in the morning and by five or 6 PM nothing is left... same thing at any French trained patisserie. All over the world.

Rather than understand that I wanted to keep the attractiveness in tact, she decided to take exception to my request. Then another employee walking past made some nasty comments about we don't even have those kind of containers. So I pointed them out in a nearby display of baking goods. Then after a lot of sneering and snideness a man came up from behind the counter to gruffly inform me that they are out of those containers and I will have to take they have. The girl knew, because I told her, that I wanted the cupcakes to remain attractive. So as she boxed them up I watched and she made a point of damaging a few. I should have told her shove them! What the hell is not understandable about wanting your carefully decorated baked goods to not get smear in the box?! Why was that so hard to understand? I have a photo of the cupcakes-- the only undamaged one in front. I'm reluctant to make any more purchases because they made it an unpleasant experience for no good reason

I'm 99% sure he still uses Molinari salami because the flavor, texture, and taste are absolutely impeccable. Italian dry salami quality in sandwich delis in the United States has drastically declined in the last couple decades. Not here though thankfully. The selection of uncommon chips and drinks is still top-notch...this has to be the only place I've ever seen Faygo in the Monterey area! The deviled eggs are still great also. I got there too late for broccoli salad. Bennett is still running the register, cracking jokes, and making smiles happen for his old regulars. And it looks like he has a really good crew currently. We will be back again and again. While I do enjoy the more upscale Italian sandwiches of Coniglio Bros on cannery row once in awhile, nothing slaps like a sandwich from an old school neighborhood minimart deli. This is the sandwich of your childhood, your teen years, and your early adulthood. This is how California nostalgia tastes.

Fantastic! My friend…read morerecommended that we pick up sandwiches here before a Big Sur trip. I'm so glad she did - this place is great! If you'd like to order a sandwich, there is a picnic table outside with clipboards and order sheets. You can order off their very extensive menu of sandwiches, or create your own. There is a wide variety of bread, meat, and cheese options so everyone can find something they like. Be very cautious if you order a whole sandwich because saying they are huge is an understatement. When you are ready to order, you bring the sheet to the back left deli counter where they have their display and desserts. While we waited for our sandwiches, we took some time to look around the market. It is fantastic! The decor is lovely. The items they have in stock is also impressive. They have your basic items like chips and soda, but also a large international snack section. There are shelves of foreign chip flavors and drinks which is very neat. They also have a super wide variety of domestic products that you can't typically find everywhere. I was thoroughly impressed with all they have to offer. The sandwich itself was the cherry on the cake. It was the biggest sandwich I have ever seen. I was shocked at how thick and heavy it was. It was incredibly affordable too! It tasted delicious and very fresh. I will definitely be a repeat customer whenever I am in the area.
