When I spoke to the staff about it, they said she was given a popsicle but needed to listen better. I understand the importance of discipline, but giving treats in front of some children while excluding others or giving them timeouts -- especially at this young age - is discouraging and upsetting for them. I truly hope that this year, the city assigns more experienced staff to this center. Many of the previous staff members seemed very young (around 17 or 18) and appeared to have limited experience working with small children.I don't recommend this center .

The location used to be a former Edwards Theater, but since been converted for meetings and events. The entrance can be a little confusing walking in, but it's located right next to California Pizza Kitchen. You will see a flight of stairs and once you get up there, you'll be inside the building. We were on one side of the building, but did not see any visible elevators, so keep that in mind if you happen to come here. The restrooms are easily accessible and clean here, but nothing to really get excited about. There is a center lounging area, with multiple sofas that's between the meeting rooms. Parking is adjacent to the building, but can also be challenging as it shares parking with The Marketplace center. So you may have to walk a little further when you do come visit.

The programming is top notch - I wanted to move here to just to take some of the classes! And the artwork! I'm obsessed with public art and this Center delivers. I kept finding little hidden gems sprinkled across the grounds and the building. The patio is lit with fairy lights and actually comfortable seating options. You can rent out any of the spaces for meetings or events. This is everything a community center should be. A model for other towns.
