This is a genuine complaint Regarding MRI Scheduling Failures and Patient Treatment I need to express my frustration regarding the repeated scheduling failures and unprofessional treatment my husband and I experienced while trying to obtain medically necessary imaging through RadNet. My husband is 78 years old and currently battling cancer, making these scans critical for evaluating his condition and guiding treatment. At our first MRI appointment, we were turned away because staff said they needed documentation regarding my husband's heart stent. We understood the safety concern, obtained the requested paperwork, and were ready for the rescheduled appointment At the second appointment, we were again turned away--this time because we were told he needed to wait two weeks after port placement before having the MRI. What was frustrating is that he already had the port at the first appointment, yet no one mentioned this requirement then. At the third appointment, 40 minutes into our drive we received a call informing us that only one scan would be completed and the MRI would need to be rescheduled yet again. At the fourth appointment, we encountered a rude technician who first stated my husband could not have the MRI because of his heart stent. I explained this was incorrect and provided documentation showing the stent was MRI-safe. After reviewing the paperwork, the technician changed his explanation and said the MRI could not be done because an intake form incorrectly indicated my husband had an internal pump. I explained he does not have an internal pump--he has a port--and offered to correct the form. When my husband asked where to sign the corrected paperwork, the technician abruptly grabbed the papers from his hands and stated, "He doesn't know what to sign." I found this deeply disrespectful. My husband is 78, battling cancer, and simply needed clear instruction and a little patience. Most concerning was the contradictory reasoning. Were we being denied the MRI because of the stent or because of an incorrect intake answer? The explanations kept changing. After leaving, we went to another RadNet location with the exact same stent documentation. Staff there confirmed immediately that the stent was MRI-compatible and safely scheduled the scan. This raises an obvious question: How can one RadNet facility refuse the MRI because of the stent, while another RadNet facility confirms the same stent is safe? The repeated cancellations, inconsistent medical screening, poor communication, and lack of compassion caused unnecessary stress and delayed important cancer care. Cancer patients and their families deserve professionalism, competence, kindness, and empathy. Unfortunately, that was not our experience at the Grove RadNet location. read more

Apparently the receptionist gave me the incorrect address of 805 Haven instead of 8805 Haven where I was seven minutes later than my time schedule. In doing so wanted to reschedule or have me wait for four other patients, ridiculous. The receptionist could use better communication skills in dealing with customers. No idea why they schedule appointments if you won't be seen at that time and will end up waiting 30-90 minutes pasted your scheduled time. When I politely asked when I would be seen/how much longer since my appointment time had already passed. The receptionist confuses me with the wrong client and the instead of being humble asks me if I want a printed copy of my appointment. Why would I need what I have on my phone? A printed copy of an appointment time (that went at that point) was 30 minutes past my scheduled time. Stop over booking appointments and having horrible customer service staff. read more

Absolutely do not come here if you have an emergency or if you expect basic respect and care. It has been a total of 15 business days since my MRI and I have yet to receive my results despite calling almost every day. I have since had to visit the emergency room three times for my injury and cancelled two orthopedic appointments, being told I need surgery ASAP but not being able to schedule it since I do not have my MRI results. I experienced the same amount of rude and lacking customer service as most of these comments describe. For my first MRI appointment at 9:30 pm, I waited for 1 hour and 20 minutes just to be told they were not able to see me due to lack of insurance clearance. I called my insurance on the spot and they verified that it was sent over DAYS before. When I told the receptionist, she simply rescheduled me without explanation. The next WEEK I was finally rescheduled and receptionist joked that the clearance was there all along, after I waited again for 50 minutes after my appointment time. Seriously??? I cannot walk and am in a wheelchair. The MRI techs consistently asked me to bend my legs and to walk as I was actively groaning in pain. Just appalling. Good luck ever trying to get through to this facility over the phone, also. You have better luck calling RadNet directly and asking them to transfer you to this location as they do NOT answer the phone by any means. I wish I could give this facility a 0 star rating. Receptionists are extremely rude and unprofessional over the phone as well, hung up on me while I was talking and was very annoyed when I called back (they picked up only after 5 missed calls---WOW!) Never have I encountered such a negligible medical facility that made me feel more insignificant as a patient as this center. read more

Had an appointment, was quoted a certain price and they not only had us wait 90 minutes but I was charged an extra $180.

I needed to get copies of some images for an upcoming appointment. I called to see if they are open, being that images are given on a walk-in basis, and today's a holiday. There was a line of 3 people ahead of me, with two people at the counter. The line moved along in due time. Once up, I asked for my recent images, with the service person asking about previous, older images. I asked if those could be added in, and she said sure! The impressive part is that from the time I ordered my images to the time the CD and write ups were in my hand, it was maybe 10 minutes. Can't get much better than that! Additionally, I'll add in that when I came in for my MRI back in January, they ran on time, were friendly, and offered little kindnesses like a warm blanket and leg bolsters. The care was horrible, I made an appointment for an MRI They came in and took me out to this van in the parking lot They told me that they should have told me online that I was scheduled for the outside van appointment The 2 girl technicians were rude! After I spent 30 minutes in the MRI machine I asked for the paper with the code to get the results online They told me I had to go back into the building to get it ! I go back into the building to get it and had to stand on a long line of 7 people, the office experience was also dealing with rude people at the desk! Absolutely awful experience. My appointment was canceled one hour before I was scheduled because they claimed my doctor "used the wrong code." I immediately contacted my doctor and had a corrected order faxed over. I then rescheduled two weeks later only for the exact same thing to happen again. Once more, they called one hour before my appointment to cancel, saying the order now needed a "reason" listed. Both times, they conveniently called at 5:00 PM, when my doctor's office was already closed, making it impossible for me to resolve the issue. If these orders were incomplete, why weren't they reviewed earlier in the day instead of right before the appointment? To make matters worse, the receptionist was rude and dismissive, telling me it was my responsibility and that as a patient I "need to advocate for myself." That is completely inappropriate. As a patient, I am not expected to know medical coding requirements--this is something the provider and facility should handle, not place on the patient. When I explained that a corrected fax had already been sent, I was then told their fax machine was broken. Completely unprofessional. Two last-minute cancellations, poor communication, and rude staff. Total waste of time. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I'm being graceful with my review, only because that young lady displayed some kindness to some customers after witnessing about an hour or so worth of unpleasant customer service. The other front staff were not so personable. Considering some people are here to get test done that can be very nerve racking like cancer screenings and others are very old and clearly have some type of disability/issue going on. I'm not sure why not choose to bare minimum standard to be kind and at least pretend to want to be helpful. They need to work on kindness and some empathy for their patients/customers. They really gave off an impression they dislike their jobs with their tone and body language seemed to be very annoyed by everything. **WARNING be on time because if you are late they will make you reschedule. Saw a couple of people get told to they had to reschedule with no way around it. First let's start with scheduling you have to call a number and they are very busy so good luck with that process. It took several times for me to get through and be able to schedule. Walking into my appointment there was already a line. I waited approximately 15 minutes to get to the window. Receptionist seemed annoyed by their job and not very welcoming and forced to be helpful. However they did let me stay although I was 10 min late to my appointment but with a very condescending tone thank you but it's not a life or death situation and I believe their is a bit of wiggle room where people can and will be running a bit behind. For the staff in the back who do the actual testing, I want to say thank you for being kind showing empathy and at least making me believed you cared about your work and patients. Everyone we encounter in the back staff were very kind and welcoming. Makes up for the staff in the front. Let's just say I hope I don't have to come back this is not an overall office experience I want to do twice. I would rather spend a bit more time and research another office. read more

I arrived for my appointment at 137pm 2 Minutes Late and was told that the MRI tech Janessa? would not be able to perform the procedure and that I would have to reschedule. I had a really disappointing experience with this clinic. I live about 30 minutes away and arrived 5 minutes late to my appointment because I accidentally went to the wrong location. The other location even called this office to let them know, but they still refused to see me and made me reschedule. When I came back for the rescheduled appointment, I arrived on time--and still waited over 20 minutes to be seen. It's frustrating that they have zero flexibility for patients who are a few minutes late due to honest mistakes, yet it's apparently acceptable for patients to wait well past their appointment time. I went to this MRI radiology office, and my experience was very disappointing. The front desk girl, Terry, was extremely rude - she didn't even greet me with a smile or any kind of friendliness. When she noticed that my doctor's office had entered an incorrect diagnosis code, instead of explaining the issue professionally, she came off aggressive and had an attitude while speaking to me. Her tone and behavior were uncalled for, and it made me very uncomfortable. I ended up walking out and told her to have a good day, deciding I'll reschedule somewhere else. This location is horrible! I had an appt that I made weeks in advance. When I showed up, they said it was canceled bc the technician was a no show. I took the day off work for this appt bc my dr needed the images. They said they reached out which was a lie. I had no missed calls, then "Kim" proceeded to tell me they emailed me. I checked in front of them, no email, that was a lie too Four employees behind the desk and not one could do a simple job. "Kim" asked, so what, do you want to make another appt? The individual that checked in my very ILL friend, was the absolutely RUDEST PERSON I have ever encountered. Treated us both as if we were beneath her. This is an out of Kaiser contract. I highly recommend that if Kaiser want you to come here , ask for a different place. It's the lady with black braids. They are not wearing name tags or I would have put her name. I went today 2/18/2026 for an annual mammogram. My appointment was set for 5:15 PM. I was asked to arrive 15 minutes before my appointment, which I did. I filled out the paperwork, turned it in and noticed they were calling people really quick. There was about 5 other people there before me, they all got called. A whole new group of people came in and i noticed they all started getting called before me and it was now 5:30 yet all the new people were called ahead of me. I asked why and was told because my tech was with a client, she then looked at her computer and said, oh wait it's because your appointment is at 5:45, I showed her my appointment time (5:15) She then said well we have you down for 5:45. I said I booked and was confirmed 5:15. She then said Oh, I'm sorry your tech will be calling you at 5:55. She's at lunch. (ATBAB) It seemed that she was just making things up as it came to mind. I was referred here by my primary Dr. the facility has good parking, and it's easy to find in the medical building. The receptionist was kind, limited seating inside but they did the best they could with the size of the lobby. I only waited about 5 minutes after I finished my paper work to be called back (I had an appointment). The lady that helped me was friendly. I've never had an MRI before but it was fine. This is the most horrible experience I've ever had in my life when it has to do with my health. The "women" that check you in for your appointment are very unprofessional and loud! They were too busy making jokes about some picture that another co worker was showing them. You would think "women" would have more compassion when it comes to women getting these type of exams. My doctor made an appointment for me to get my yearly exam. I couldn't be seen because I told the technician that I felt something suspicious in my breast. They couldn't even explain it to me why I couldn't get my yearly mammogram because there was no reason why I wouldn't be able to. Why would a person not be able to be seen because they found a lump in their breast? Isn't that the reason why I was there? I will never go here again for any type of exam. I was referred by my gastroenterologist because the 6 cm mass in my colon is consistent with cancer. I tried calling 3 times to make an appointment and was told all 3 times that they need authorization. The 1st time I called the doctor's office and was told it had been sent the day of my colonoscopy. The 2nd time, RadNet said they still didn't have it and couldn't book an appointment without it. Called the doctor and they had sent it again after my first call. The nurse called my health insurance, who informed her that authorization wasn't required but they gave her a referral number to give me. I called Radnet a 3rd time, got the same song and dance. They said it doesn't matter what my Dr or insurance says, they can't book an appointment without the authorization and can't use the referral number. Called my PCP and he got me in immediately with SimonMed Imaging. RADNET HAS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and the stress they cause is unconscionable! read more

I've had a few procedures performed on me here ; MRI, biopsy and recently an aspiration of a large seroma, due to fluid in the cavity after breast cancer surgery. The doctor that performed the biopsy and the aspiration had a very steady hand and did both procedures without any pain. He was so efficient that I barely knew I was having needles in me. Recently I had the first post surgery and radiation tests ; mammogram and ultrasounds. The technicians are well trained. I passed and got cleared. From now on I'll be seeing this doctor for any more procedures needed. I recommend this facility . read more

Scheduled my appointment 3 weeks ahead of time only to find out one of their MRI machines is down. Funny thing is the lady told me the other MRI machine was for patients who had appointments for from some trailer or something like that. But I overheard on the next stall when another one of the patients came up and told the other intake person they had an MRI appointment she checked them in. Not once did she mention a broken MRI machine and other patients with appointments coming from another building, location or trailer. I made this appointment available for today due to all my other medical appointments during the week! Should have at least given a courtesy call if that was the case. I visited the imaging center on Monday, February 19th at 5:10 AM. Unfortunately, the Hispanic woman light skin black hair who greeted me lacked warmth and made me feel unwelcome I don't know if it's because I had my hood over my head it was raining or because I was under dressed in sweats like I was here for a MRI. Her behavior was unprofessional, and I felt uncomfortable under her scrutiny. However, I want to commend the two males who performed my MRI - they were exceptional, professional, friendly, and efficient. They significantly improved my experience. I suggest additional guest service training for the front desk staff to enhance patient satisfaction. read more

I came to the location in Rancho , staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Michael was the one to take my MRI, very professional, knowledgeable, and made sure everything went smoothly. He made sure he explained what I was to experience, he made sure I wasn't afraid or unsure of the procedure and made the transition smooth. I knew the MRI with and without contrast might take a while , but he explained everything like it was my first time. And I think for patients that have never had an MRI should always be explained the way he broke it down to me. He got my IV in quick and easy, and I wouldn't want anyone else . He is great at what he does and I wouldn't want it any other way. He deserves a raise for sure! read more

On 10/22/24 @5:55 am, I walked into the downstairs office for my MRI appointment. The ladies behind the desk were engaged in an obvious personal conversation. I said excuse me nicely and asked if I was in the correct line. So Latrice behind the desk rudely asked what I was there for. I responded for an MRI. She again very arrogant and loud said what type of MRI? I told her what for she said YA YOU ARE IN THE ROGHT LINE. Then she and her coworker engaged in their personal conversation. So I politely dealt with being checked in sat down in the waiting room until I was to be seen.. Well before I was called out for my MRI a gentleman pushing an elderly woman in a wheelchair walks in and was also being treated so rude by all 3 ladies working the front desk. I over heard them ask him if he had the paperwork to be seen and he said he did not have anything. (Broken English) He asked if anyone spoke Spanish?? Latrice yelled to them in a very rude loud voice No Habla Espanol Senorita!! At the time there were other Spanish speaking patients filling out their paperwork to be seen. I was seen for my MRI and out the door in approximately 30 minutes. I was furious at the way myself and others were treated by the ladies working the front desk to check patients in. I came here to Yelp to write this review and I read other reviews on this business and this is an on going issue. The reviews are clearly not being taken seriously. Training is key. It appears that further steps should be taken since the reviews of others and myself are just being pacified or appears this way. My insurance company will be notified as well. was called because the MRI machine wasn't lowerin. they asked if we could manage climbing up into the machine, yes we can. They said come on down early. After a 40 minute drive we paid and waited our turn. 1 hour later we were told the mechanic came to fix the machine. 1.5 hr later we got an update, machine was in pieces and couldn't tell us how much longer. we left got home 40 minutes later.
