Guess I should have looked at the reviews! I had Grout Plus come to my home to get a quote and showed the them the discoloration that I was seeing. They quoted me $1000 and said they could fix it and seal it. Upon completion the floors looked the same. When they came out the young man looked at the first place I showed him and his comment was I personally did that area and it is sealed and never looked at any other areas. He said the discoloration is from shadows due to the tile height of the tile. My question is why wasn't I told that when they first gave me the quote. Their response was the floor was sealed and I could spill red wine and it wouldn't stain. But I originally asked them if they could fix the discoloration which she said they could! Very unhappy and feel like I wasted $1000. read more

This is the third time I have used them in 20 plus years. I they do a great job. My floors and do look terrific. I had them come redo the kitchen. It has been almost 10 years. I would not even think about asking them about 10 year warranty. My kitchen is the busiest place in the house and with ivory tiles it gets extremely dirty. It 's washed daily. Now It looks brand new. On 2-9-24, Grout Plus worked in my master bathroom after quoting a number of jobs on 2-1-24. Subsequent to a poor result in my bathroom, a mediocre job on my floors and baseboards, and they're damaging the metal strip in my shower, I requested a copy of my work order. Subsequent to waiting 13 days for the work order copy, and comparing the work order with my estimate, I became aware that my estimate read :remove and caulk at base of shower master, while the work order read: remove and replace silicone caulk at shower door in master. Since I hired them because of a leak in the shower and paid for the work indicated on my estimate, I have requested to be reimbursed by GP for $120.00. Since they have been monumentally nasty and uncooperative, I needed to pay another company to do the caulking which GP failed to do. At this time, it is unknown to me whether the difference between the estimate and the work order was an oversight or a definite attempt to take advantage of an elderly woman.Please note that their estimates and work orders are difficult to read carbon copies. At this time, they have refused to do anything to ameliorate these issues. It would be refreshing if Chris Melia would bother reading the difference between the estimate and the work order as presented on this website. I would appreciate his comment on why the work order is different. It should also be noted that neither Chris nor his counterpart Shawn has even come out to my house to personally evaluate the work done at my home or on my driveway. They have no firsthand knowledge of that work and consequently have little room to comment on it. Wow, Chris. You are lying in your response to my review. We NEVER stripped our floors. We were very happy in the beginning and paid promptly. This situation developed over a couple of years. You NEVER came out to look at the floor in question to assess why the paint wouldn't stick in the kitchen, but was still looking good everywhere else. When we called to get someone to come look, it would take weeks before your employee would show up. When she did, she always just blamed us even though we were faithfully following your guidelines for cleaning as we KNEW anything else would void the 10-year warranty you had sold us on. Then after making arrangements with your manager to reseal the whole downstairs including the kitchen floor at a reduced price, ($125.00 instead of the regular $250.00), your employees showed up and did the work. When they were finished, they then demanded I pay the full price. Since that was not the arrangement I had made, I asked him to step outside of my house while I reached out to the manager. This man refused to go outside of my house. (My whole family witnessed). I finally got him to go outside by telling him I was calling the police. When I then did get your manager on the phone, she denied having made a verbal arrangement with me. I was shocked!! I did argue the point because where I grew up, people kept their word and honored their warranties. Your warranty never was any good, and I stand by that. You have treated me shabbily and have now called me a liar. Since you never even ONE TIME came to my home to meet with me, everything you say is suspect. To this day, I declare it here, Meet with me, examine my floor, and I will still pay the $125.00 that was agreed to. Your manager is the one in the end who refused to accept my payment. Spoke to owner Chris 11/20/21 to get an idea of what they offer, how they work etc. So pleasant In the beginning, but the more questions I asked the tone of his voice changed. I learned $500 minimum, no problem with me but the. It depends on sq footage. I explained I live alone there are rooms I don't use. Doesn't seem to matter as it has to flow "wouldn't want to paint 1/2 a wall" is the reply. He can quote on line as he can "See my house". Ends up with him blowing me off, mid-sentence, with "Have a good day" also did talk about other companies that can botch up my job. Wow! He was the very first company I called, as I saw his ad. Once I checked his reviews a 2.5! Not so good, especially after he said he was the best out there. Read all the reviews that's all I can say!! read more

My tile looked really old and dirty I was going to replace them and I heard about this company. I had my grout cleaned and sealed. My floors look amazing! Like new! I dropped my coffee I thought I ruined my floors but it wiped off no stain!!! Amazing ! read more

Advertises 10 year warranty and does t stand behind it. Will find every excuse to not honor it and then not take your calls . Injected and regrouped my tiles and this is the result 2 weeks later. Had them come back 8 plus times and same thing happened over and over. First they used he wrong grout. This company does not stand behind their work! It has been less than 2 months since they worked on my shower, and the "regrout" is falling apart. I contracted Grout Plus to regrout, and paint seal all floors and bathrooms in my house. The original beautiful picture they painted when they came to the house to quote me on the re-grout the bathrooms and seal floors, quickly turned ugly. They said the job was very difficult and they had to clean and lift a small portion of the grout to seal the floors. Well that was never done, they cleaned and painted the floor lines without completing the original full process. The second part of the job was to regrout both of my bathrooms. So far my guest bathroom is fine, but my master bathroom is falling apart. I paid for re-grout, instead I got my floor lines painted white with a seal and the walls partial Grout and Caulk. I have been in contact with the company since the 1st problem came up (a week later, after work was done), and had no luck getting them to properly fix the issue in my master bathroom. I was never told my shower floor was sand so they couldn't do a re-grout instead they used Caulk around the shower floor and then Color Sealed in the existing sand lines of the floor. When I called them they said I had moisture or mold in the bathroom, (which it was not true) I hired a company that proof otherwise. Grout Plus actually removed some of the sand on the tile floor and left a few holes on the floor didn't mentioned anything to me and sealed the floor with their color paint sealer. The company has sent their employees to my house 3 times. The last time, all they did was fix the grout around one tile and color seal one line. One of their employees, Jose looked at me and said: "you know this paint is going to come off again, that's why we don't guarantee this type of work". I was so confused and upset because I paid for re-grout on the contract I was quoted for re-grout and instead they painted the grout to make it look new. I paid this company full price for a job that was not properly completed. The only good thing I can say about them is, that their staff were respectful and friendly. I treated them to lunch, and tipped them properly. I'm very disappointed with the way their manager handled my project. I do not recommend this company. read more

Yes hello . If you want a bad job then you should contact them . Sealed my Mexican tile unevenly left paint on the floors the put sealer on top of that. They did not mention they don't scrub the floors or do baseboards. And tried to compare their work to brain surgery that's why they charge $810 for an hour of work that will have to be redone anyway. But their sales person is a good con man anyway. read more

The biggest mistake that I made is "Not Reading the Reviews." I was recommended to Grout Plus. Big Mistake. Everything written in the reviews are true. My tiles buckled and Shawna came to our home and wrote up an estimate. The men who came fixed the buckled tile, and left the floor grout filthy and the tiles cracked. Shawna looked at pictures I sent her and wants to know what is wrong. I would not, at this point, talk to her or let the two technicians back into my home. They said they would treat my home as if it were their home. A False comment because, I now have to call another company to repair the damage. They fixed the buckle, but left the floor cracked and the grout black in certain places. Left in a hurry because of another job. Please, save your self stress and aggravation. Avoid "Grouts Plus" and Shawna. Waited until I calmed down to write this, and it is true. Also looked for additional work for additional money. Again! BEWARE read more

Our initial consultation with a salesperson went well so we thought. Promises of services to meet our needs were made and we were scheduled. After starting the job, the technician that came to our home informed us that tasks agreed upon were not going to be completed as which they told us could and would be done. We had to call the office several times while he was in our home to reach the salesperson concerning what was to be done. We eventually got the salesperson we initially spoke with and even after a contentious conversation, what was agreed to at the initial consultation was never completed because the saleswoman did not agree to what she originally said would be done, even though it was in writing. Overall, be leery of booking this business. they do a good job of making promises to get your business but do a horrible job following through. This experience has tainted our view of this company and we will not use them again or refer them to neighbors or friends. read more

Sloppy, incomplete, neglected to move furniture in certain areas, I'm left to do it. Dripped paint on furniture and driveway. scratched furniture, unaware of their surroundings require supervision. They are horrible. They injected tiles and regrouted my floors and resealed giving me a 10 yr warranty. They completed the job less than a year ago have been out 8 times to try to fix there mess up.. First they used the wrong kind of grout, then i was told it is the grout not the install then waited months for a call back as they " were trying to reach the manufacter" then i was told it is your dogs. My dogs are lifting my grout out of the floor.. Interesting claim.... I can take up the grout with my fingernail!!!!. They also laid a white cement in several areas claiming it was quicker to dry... that too is coming up. I have had grout for for 30 + years along with dogs and never had the grout come up.. They have now refused to acknowledge mt calls or text and refuse to provide me with their insurance information. Now it is a chasing game . read more

OMG, my home looks brand new. I had tried on my own to clean the grout with harsh chemicals which killed my hands, even with gloves. I have hired companies that use these big machines that supposedly clean your tile and grout, that are nothing more than swirling disks of dirty water which clean nothing, and you get charged $500 for nothing. My kitchen was the worst. There is heavy traffic, grease and spills that happen in the kitchen all the time. So of course, your grout in the kitchen wears it all. They applied their colored mixture (there are several shades to choose from) on the grout and MY KITCHEN LOOKS LIKE THEY JUST LAID THE NEW TILE!!! The guys that came, Travis and Juan, were amazing young men who were respectful, efficient and just a joy to have in the house. They vacuumed my entire home and washed down the floors before applying their mixture and asked me to go around and check everything to make sure they had it all done to MY satisfaction. I tell you, it's worth every cent. And they a 10-year warranty where they come and touch up your home for a fraction of the cost. Well worth it! read more
