My wife booked grout guru because our beautiful shower that we had done 4 years ago was deteritrated which caused a leak from simple water being dripped where the grout meets our quartz stone in certain areas . The gentleman that came went right to work made sure everything was protected to keep everything clean the job came out great even did extra areas that could be a potential problem so we don't have to go through a leak again. We had to re-grout our tub/shower - called several folks for estimates. Gene came out for the estimate, gave me a fair price and a fair assessment of what to expect. He sent a worker (i believe Alex) and he did a great job, but two weeks later one spot started to crack. I was so upset, I called Gene and he promised to fix it and he did! UPDATE : 3/2/2018 I had them come over today to do some touch-ups on this job. Absolutely no issue getting them back here and the work looks great. ORIGINAL REVIEW: A few years ago I had my bathroom redone, and the contractor botched the grout job on the floor. I needed the grout scraped out and redone. The issue is that the floor tile is small herringbone marble. To redo this grout is backbreaking and tedious work. Several contractors turned me down, but Gene said it wouldn't be a problem. His worker Boris came over and scraped the grout for 5 HOURS STRAIGHT. To make a long story short, he did an amazing job and the floor could not look better. I appreciated their punctuality and honesty. Gene fully disclosed to me that their might be minor scratching if the scraper slips, there was, and I didn't care because I was warned. They aren't the cheapest, but they are good. read more

They did an okay job after 4 months grout started to crack it's cement base and I called and emailed multiple times to see if I'm in their Warrenty but they never returned my calls or emails. But yet when I first called them to make the appointment to regrout tub they called ASAP. Customer service is poor!!! Unsatisfied I had to regrout it my own. Don't recommend. read more

Grout Guru completed two baths in rental building. He returned call for appointment promptly, showed up on time for estimate,help choose best grout color. He contacted tenants day before work, showed up as scheduled, work was excellent. Baths looked great again .They were in sad condition. Will definitely use again. He does NOT guarantee his work & god forbid you have an issue, he does not return your calls or texts & then makes threats if you keep calling to get problem fixed. I am not a person who usually writes a review, but in this case i just had to. I was just disgusted with the bathroom in a condo i recently purchased. I received about 3 different estimates to rip out the tiles and redo the whole bathroom. these estimates were too much for me. I heard about grout guru and gave them a call. I am so glad i did. Grout Guru came to my condo and he told me that he would make my bathroom tiles look brand new and for less than 1/3 of the prices i was quoted for new tiles. Well I must say my bathroom looks GREAT. He assessed the situation and gave me a reasonable quote, and he returned (on a holiday weekend!) to do the work.
