If you're gonna cause drama, you or your child, they're not going to keep you around. It's toxic to a team. That being said, I find Nicole and Lindsey do a great job, especially considering the other studio options around. No studio is perfect, but they make an effort to try and think outside the box in the way they teach the kids. Of course they offer conventional ballet, jazz , hip hop, tap, etc. classes, but they also have the kids doing fun and exciting things that makes them think about dance differently. I teach for this studio every once in a while and I love the kids and their hard work.

Me and my Uber driver could not find this dance studio. This dance studio is located in the north east corner of the intersection of 50 and Semoran Boulevard. You cannot see it from the street. Is behind all the restaurants on the east side of the property. Once you find the studio it is a gorgeous location. When you walk in immediately to your right is seating so you can change into your dance shoes. There are wood floors throughout and mirrors on the wall. The dance floor is not too slick but still is smooth enough to dance on. There is a back room which they used when I was there to sell water and Gatorade. This is the smaller studio but we were able to fit a lot of people inside of it. The student does not have a specific designated area for the DJ. However the DJ was able to set up and not encroach upon the dance floor. It was a good event the studio is nicely decorated.

I appreciate the padded bench seating that has cubbies for storing shoes, etc. The studio has two bathrooms and also a separate changing room. There's a nice sound system and large mirrors. It's an excellent place for private events with ample parking spaces. There is a small kitchen area for food set up and they also have a large fridge. I enjoy attending classes and social dances there, too. Since there are a few restaurants within walking distance and many just a short drive away, it allows for a great evening of dinner and dancing. They offer such a variety of classes so it's easy to always learn something new.

Prior to joining JMB, we had put in 6 previous seasons with another studio. We were forced to moved due to a work obligation and I happened to stumble upon JMB through some Facebook searches. Immediately into our first season with JMB. I noticed many, many things were not right with this establishment and how it was ran. The toxicity that is created inside of this "family" is disturbing. This "dance studio" has an almost 100% turnover rate since they have opened their doors. This sentence here should tell you EVERYTHING that you need to know about this place. My daughter is the sweetest soul. She is such an amazing little leader. Unfortunately, due to the actions inside of this studio, we needed the help of a professional therapist. I am sure the individuals at JMB are proud of this. Proud that a child needed professional help to overcome the mental abuse she endured inside of those walls. Greed over passion. That included a successful socially distanced 2021 recital. This is not a dance studio that focuses on competitions. I wanted my daughter to attend a studio that has an atmosphere focused on dance not just collecting medals and trophies. I am very happy with their ballet program and next year she will start tap as well.
