This is my number one go to coffee! I go here multiple times a week, love the convenience of it being just a drive thru. The coffee quality is amazing and the very few times I didn't like something they exchanged it no problem. I also buy their coffee by the pound, just got some of the highland grog that is a super yummy dark roast with chocolate notes. Can't recommend this place enough!

Let's start off by saying I'm not a huge coffee drinker. I went to the location in the layton hospital and had a damn good coffee. Couldn't stop thinking about it. So a few days later I head over to this location to get the same drink. Wouldn't you know it the same lady but at this location. Told her I couldn't stop thinking about how damn good my coffee was. Got the same thing again. Spot on the same yummy flavors that hit my tasty buds with pure joy. I got the Latte Mocha over ice. I have been back a few times now. Nice staff and convenient drive thru. I will be back again soon.

Not happy at all. Every time I am in the area I usually go to this place for coffee/latte. Utah is…read morepretty dead for coffee and it's hard to find a place that isn't Starbucks. Today was my last visit to scooters. First of all they will not put the coffee into my own tumbler. Ok. So I get another dose of micro plastics from their cup. But then today I ordered a plain hot latte and picked it up in the drive thru. I was about 5 miles down the road when I took my first sip of it. This was not what I ordered. This damn thing was sweet as hell. I ordered no flavors. It was undrinkable. The lattes here have been mediocre at best but this just finished my patronage. Can't wait to get back to Boise so I can get a great latte.

All the coffee shops around my area have closed down due to the Covid-19 pandemic, so a friend suggested I come and "try" Scooters, which I was more than happy to do! I wasn't sure what to get, so I looked at their menu in the parking lot before I pulled in. I decided on their featured latte, and I wasn't disappointed! With most places, I'm a little skeptical of featured menu items because I'm scared fo try something new, but I don't have that fear with Scooters! One thing I have to be cautious with is the ingredients that go into their drinks. I started getting sick, as did my baby, and I didn't realize until after there was one drink with a significant amount of dairy (or so I assume) that was upsetting our stomachs. That particular drink was taken off the menu so I stopped getting it, and we haven't had an issue since. I do NOT blame the company for that at all, that's on me. It just reminded me to be a little more mindful of what I'm ordering. A side note- don't forget to download their app so you can get points every visit and redeem free drink rewards!

The second time was uncomfortable because Karen was loudly spouting some pretty hateful and discriminatory opinions of political and religious nature. Normally I try to hold space for people's opinions. We learn a lot from each other just by listening, and it's nice to get an expanded perspective when we're open to other people's experiences and another point of view. BEANS is NOT this kind of environment. Sadly. It's like the owner is trying to out-Woke her own self. I'm lbgtq and disabled. What's happening here is not the kind of advocacy we need. We don't create safe spaces by hating on everyone who is not just exactly like us. Most of us just want to not have constant conflict, confrontation and political or social strife. Standing up for others rights is one thing. Intentionally creating discord is quite another. This experience is not great for anyone with anxiety, or needs peace and calm, with a sensory processing disorder or preference to avoid conflict. Hate doesn't need a seat at the table. Kind of done with that. I'm not coming back. The coffee is good though. So are the baked treats. Had a lot of potential.

It definitely has the small business feel and hospitality; there was one person working the shop-taking orders, preparing the drinks and keeping things humming. I ordered a hot tea and a cake pop then learned that those cake pops are made onsite and are larger than any others I've seen. That's kind of a fun claim to fame. One of the walls is impressively stocked with shelves of different syrups, so you can request any wild combination of flavors to make your drink your very own-something I know locals really appreciate and order frequently. The ambience was ok-they were decorated for Christmas with all things grinch related. We might have come just as they were moving inventory, because there were lots of boxes stacked up in the seating area and a big ladder off to the side. There are different seating arrangements-tables and chairs as well as larger chairs along the walls to invite you to stay awhile. On another wall, there are gift-shop type trinkets, coffee you can buy and take back home and some jewelry items. I always like to browse these things, especially when they are from local artisans.

From the moment I stepped inside, the shop felt inviting, with a warm and cozy atmosphere--perfect for relaxing, catching up on work, simply enjoying a quiet moment, or grabbing a cup to go and wandering through what seemed like an endless Saturday street market, which made the experience feel extra special. On my first visit, I really appreciated how peaceful it felt--the perfect balance of background chatter and calm. The staff were especially friendly earlier in the day, which added to the welcoming atmosphere. My second visit was during a busier part of the day, so it felt a bit more lively with foot traffic, but that energy added its own kind of charm. Every cup I had was thoughtfully prepared, with rich, satisfying flavor. Overall, Grounds for Coffee was a highlight of my trip. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's the kind of place that makes you want to linger. If I ever find myself back in Ogden, I hope I get the chance to return for another cup.
