Came in about 11:30 and they gave us the breakfast menu. I was planning on ordering from that, so that was fine, but I would have expected to get both the breakfast and lunch menus. Anyway, they only have natural sodas - which aren't my thing - so I ordered water. Luckily I sipped it as they literally only asked if we wanted refills after we were done eating. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak Skillet, which had potatoes, the chicken fried steak itself, country gravy, toast and eggs. The food came out in less than 10 minutes, which in itself seemed odd. Anyway, the food: Eggs: I took one bite and barely choked it down. They were thin and dry and had a weird texture. Toast: You can't mess up toast, but it came with a tiny thing of grape jelly (barf) Chicken Fried Steak: Rather than give you a full steak like you would expect, they chopped it up into very tiny bits. I didn't count, but felt like I had less than 10 tiny bites of steak. What I got tasted okay I guess. Potatoes: About half the potatoes were very hard and undercooked. Some of the pieces were okay but after eating a few of the harder ones I just gave up on them. Gravy: The gravy was the best part of the skillet, honestly. Rich in flavor and actually warm. Service was meh. I had to wave her down to check out - after she'd walked by our table several times. We won't be back. The food wasn't worth the price, especially when you leave still hungry.
