This is not how you run a business…read more 1st off - changes during covid was never mentioned 2nd - you should have stated that you were unsure instead of assuring us things would be completed upon move-in (change the words you use to represent an accurate description, it's called honesty, integrity, and professional) 3rd - I was not at all miserable, maybe you're mistaking me with someone else. I was actually quite happy to see the building - cause 1st impressions were awesome. But thanks for personally bashing me while I was leaving a review in regards to your business dealings not a review of your name. Which by the way - Melanie you're an extremely unkind human for stooping to that level on a professional account. 4th - this is a highly unprofessional message you sent - as a professional you should know better than to send a message personally bashing a person with a condescending attitude, is this a professional business or cyber bullying? Seriously, I hope people see this and think differently of you. 5th - you have removed all bad reviews you could if possible - can't seem to find any google reviews (which have clearly been removed due to negativity) 6th - multiple people in the building (and valour management) have complained about you and your negligence. You will find yourself sold on false pretences and commitments which she takes no accountability for after the fact. You will also be pleading for DAYS on end to receive developments and get radio silence and disappointment in return. Her quality of service reflects the blatant negligence in her practice to recognize any time and effort invested by her clients in a lengthy lease signing process. I'd give her 0 stars if I could and strongly advocate for investigation of her license being revoked. In my case, she asked for me to come to London for a showing of a unit she claimed to reserve for me due to my interest on a weekday at noon as it was the only time convenient for her. I accepted this and drove 2 hours from Mississauga. Upon arriving, she led us to the unit with great conviction only to open it and find someone already living there... This had raised a huge red flag and she should have considered herself very fortunate for me to give her the benefit of the doubt as she claimed that she did not know what was going on when it clearly showed in her internal system that the units she shared with me prior to coming were leased. She then proceeded to give me a guarantee in finding another unit for the blatant unprofessionalism and inconvenience. I followed up with her immediately after I got home that day with a reasonable expectation from her realizing the gravity of the situation but she made nothing of it. 2 days went by and she told me that one of the units that was allegedly leased at the time of me being in London, was now open. I showed urgency and effort in completing the 30 page application that day along with expediting the payment to the office. While asking her for a status update on the application's processing, she ignored me for days and then returned by saying that the office was not responding to her messages and that I should call them myself... I got ahold of them within minutes with no effort and they mentioned that she hadn't even attached the my application forms in her email to them. Once again she tried to divert the blame and cried foul. At this point she had lost all her credibility in being even slightly capable of doing her job because I was practically doing it for her. Days go by of me asking her for updates and the silence persists only for her to now get back to me with the news of there being ANOTHER application in front of mine and her being unsure of mine going through. She ignores my FaceTime calls and claims she doesn't have service while she sends me iMessages (how unaware she took me as is comical and ironic). I expressed my frustration and how she had told me in writing that I was the only applicant for this unit at the time of submission which raised a clear liability issue for circumvention. She went on to seek pity with no accountability of what had transpired by failing to recognize how she had wasted several weeks of my time in which I could have looked for other properties. She also bad mouthed the property management corp that this unit was in by alleging that they are conspiring against her and her clients. What amazes me is how she did this all in writing over messages. For all the suffering she caused, trust me when I say it is a no-brainer to avoid this company and Melanie Dickson. Her only other review on Google is herself which she responded to!
