I do not know you, I'm not involved in any Facebook disputes, and I do not live in your town. My review was based solely on my visit to your store: the extreme disorganization and crowding, the pricing, and being closely watched while shopping. Instead of addressing these concerns, you've repeatedly dismissed my experience and blamed it on unrelated comments about a school district I have no connection to. You also edited your original response after the fact, so I will be attaching the original for transparency. I originally left a two-star review because the experience was negative but not terrible. The owner in my experience, is a very nice person who is interesting to talk to. From what I've seen, the store isn't often busy so it's easy to stop and talk to her. As for the other negative review, it's her right as a business owner, especially a business owner whose store is connected to their house, to require masks. "Freedom" only applies to public property, if you're on private property you can't just do whatever you want. This isn't an "america freedom" thing this is the case in every country, it is the case in ours too, and has always been the case in our country. From what I remember on my most recent visit, she didn't ask me to put on a mask, but that review was written 3 years ago. Part of my decision to write this review is it's such a nice little store for our local area, and the woman who runs it is polite and I think is a great member of our community, and it seems unfair her only review is a 1 star review from someone who doesn't understand the concept of private property or business ownership. If you want an example of some of the stuff that is sold here, one of the things I've bought was an antique 48 star hand flag, which I appreciate as a fan of flags. There are many other good things there, especially related to Pepperell as a town, and if you are in the area and this store is open I recommend you check it out. You might find something you like!

As for the review left by the user criticizing the covid mask policy and rudeness by the proprietor, I have personal knowledge of the interaction and have an alternate view. The rudeness came from the preteen. Who followed her around demanding answers of her about the violation of their "rights". Anyone who has had a preteen will tell you that they do not innately possess, righteous indignation as they have not developed philosophies of life on their own. This is taught and parroted back in the hopes of pleasing their trainers. What does it say when we teach our children this level of aggression and entitlement at such a tender age? The store is a gem and a high rated Pepperell attraction. Check it out if your in the area!
