We have been going here for 3 years now and love the new location. There's great space and lots to…read moredo for the kids. Great place to learn gymnastics and to have a birthday party. Highly recommend!

I wanted to wait 24 hrs after to be fair. So here we are. I would be cautious if booking a party…read more It's very hard to rate because the facility is a 5 star, I don't know about the gymnastics aspect, but for having a party, it's a 0! They are new, (open about 2 months) so they are still learning, and there is quite a bit that they need to learn. My first issue, pricing. $450 for a party of 10 kids. That does not include the adults. I was planning on feeding my adults. They wanted $60 extra for the additional seating/aka bigger room (which was fine) on top of that they wanted $9 per adult, AND then the cost of the additional food for the parents!!! So that's an extra $200 for only 10 parents. Once they found out, I was not paying for the adults. They refunded my $60 back threw me in a small room and had all my adult standing along the wall. Don't ask me why they just didn't keep the $60 and provide a bigger room with seating for my parents. It didn't make any sense. If you have adults in your party, they have to stand?! Secondly, they control the entire party, which is great if that's what you're looking for. 1:You're not allowed to bring a cake, they offer cupcakes and when they sang happy birthday, they didn't even put a candle in it. SMH 2: decoration, they have two options, sports or princess, if you don't pick one of their options, then they charge you additionally 3: I ordered a popcorn machine as an add-on. The popcorn is popped while the kids are playing and they place it in bags on the table which I felt it was just there, no one cared. It would be exciting for the kids if they said popcorn time and every kid stood in line with a bag and they scoop some in their bag. 4: they give you two hosts and you have to tip both of them which a party with 10 kids does not need two hosts. In my opinion, they need to step back and let the parents feel like they have control over their child's party. All of the parents that attended my daughter's party had the same views & opinions. I thought it was gonna be a great venue and everyone would wanna have their child's party there. All of my party guests said it was a waste and they were not impressed. On a sidenote, the manager in charge (I think her name was Lauren) chased down a mother in my party because I did not pay for her for open gym. She was watching some of the girls not participating, but she had her mom sign a waiver, (which is understandable)and then proceeded to charge her $20 for watching less than 40 minutes of open gym. With how much I paid and how bad it looks on your facility. A better approach would have been to tell the girl, she didn't have a waiver signed, and they don't allow anyone to watch so have her come out of the gym. Positive experiences hardly get recognized, unfortunately negative experiences stick.

The coaches are very young but sweet girls and I'm sure they are excellent VB players but they don't know how to coach and develop players. They are emotionless on the sidelines and tend to focus on just one or two players. I honestly think my daughter grew and learned more from her middle school teachers than she did at MI Elite. As an organization, I would have hoped MI Elite staff would have seen that our team struggled all season to win games - we barely won any and typically lost our matches In 2 games. Why didn't our coach get some help?. It was an expensive and disappointing season across the board :(

My daughter unfortunately was put on Justine Wests team. She is an experienced coach. She makes a…read morepoor attempt at coaching just because she has "played since she was 5". But that doesn't make you a coach. Stonefaced, what she lacks in personality she compensates in passive aggressive manipulation. The girls have no respect for her because she talks to them like they are Kindergarteners. She doesnt teach technique because she is too busy practicing dance moves on the court. Tournaments are poorly coordinated because there is little to no communication as to the schedule, timing, location etc. Parking and seating is non-existant Attemping to communicate with the club is impossible. Reeder (the Wixom coordinator) is too busy sleeping in the office. The facilities are dirty and smell like BO! To sum up our experience... sad. Will not be back and i do not recommend to anyone. For the exorbitant price, i expected much much more.

I'm not like every other person who joins a gym in January because of New Year's Resolutions…read more Nope, I joined because I have an important event in a couple months and I need to get my butt in gear (literally)! I had thought I would join potentially for the weight loss benefits of going to the gym regularly, but had overlooked the benefit of endurance, both physically and mentally because being around people you may not want to be around is a special kind of endurance! I'm going to a conference out of state. Instead of loud drunk adults, this place has loud children and instead of walking for miles, seemingly in circles, you get to dance them in circles or step them or Aqua Zumba them. In any case, I feel like I'll be fit on all levels in time for my event. I had actually considered NC a couple years ago but wasn't fully sold at the time. Recently, I gave it another look and I think they have improved their website and now have an app. In addition, the membership options seem easier to understand and they have added an InScan / Body Scan machine that's free for members. That alone is worth the price of admission. It will tell you in excruciating detail how unfit you are but, hey, hopefully, you can only improve! Members can scan as much as they want but obviously, once a month is the most you should do to actually establish a trend. On membership, I opted for the month to month no contact one: $71 and no initiation fee. While that may seem high, I really need classes to feel engaged and motivated and most classes, even on Class Pass are around $20 to $25 a class, so if I go to one class a week at NC, I'm already ahead! One neat thing, the monthly pass just runs 30 days then deactivates. If you try to scan your card, it makes a noise and the staff will charge you to re-up for the next 30 days. For someone that has gotten burned on gym contacts more than I care to recall, the fact that this just expires is such a benefit to me. One less thing to worry about. You can also get the monthly membership and family and all kinds of flavors with different costs and contracts but for me, this was the perfect option. I mentioned classes and man, they have a ton: dance, Pilates, step, yoga, spin, Aqua Zumba, and they even have sports like drop-in pickleball! I've already taken a couple classes and really enjoy them. They have the app and you can add a class to your calendar from the app. You can't sign up for a class through the app though but hopefully that's in the works. You can also check into the gym with the app or with your keychain card, so that's handy. They have various lectures and courses and competitions which I'm looking forward to participating in as well. Also, they have a water bottle refill station which is great. No juice bar or anything but very close to a ton of places to quickly undo whatever you just did at the gym. Now for the neutrals and negatives: Yes, the bathrooms are old but I don't find them to be dirty or slippery or whatever some reviewers have said. They have lockers but bring your own lock and they are just day lockers. Half the time, I don't need a locker so it's not a huge deal for me but YMMV. Parking can be tricky. Free on the street if you can find it otherwise, pay with the Passport app to park in the lot. Children. It's weird if you're used to only going to gyms where it's adults only and also mostly going places where it's adults only. They are only allowed in the classes for them I think so there's that (I wish the app would let you filter those out because they have some kids classes I might want to take them you click in and see the age limits. Maybe I want to take "Creative Dance" or "Fit and Fun"). Overall, I'm already very happy with this choice and may very well convert my monthly membership to a contract. Eventually. Maybe...

We love the NC Fit club for the kids in the fall/winter/spring and all the cool classes she can do after school. They have a great indoor pool, workout area, and lots of fun classes for every age. We love the family night where we go and swim, do arts and crafts, and more fun things. The staff is so helpful, friendly, and great at what they do. We love coming here and it's such a nice place for the kids and adults alike!
