Surprisingly, they said go ahead and bring him in and they could do him that day (a Saturday!) When I got there they said just give them an hour and a half and they'd have him ready. Comparing this to taking him to one of the big pet chains where they charged me double the price and kept him for 6 hours (apparently rush service was 10$ extra and no one told me this) plus he was probably in a cage for a long time, What a great value at Shear Elegance. Tabasco came home looking great - didn't have to be muzzled, is happy and didn't nip or growl at anyone. I even got to watch the last few minutes. These groomers were really great with Tabasco and you can tell they really do love what they do! I would highly recommend Shear Elegance!

Todd is amazing with them - all we have to do is tell them they're going to see Todd and they immediately begin to bark, run to the truck, jump in and out and do the same sorts of things when we arrive. It's a bit of a drive for us but well worth it when we pick them up and they're still happy boys. We tried a couple of other kennels with our first two German Shepherds but they just didn't quite measure up - unless Todd closes down (please NO!), he'll continue seeing the Kole dogs on a regular basis. Thank you, Todd, for such an awesome safe place for all the fur babies you've kept over the years! L. Kole

Dr. Collins is one of the most compassionate, caring, and dedicated vets we have ever known. He is always accommodating, takes the time to answer questions, and genuinely wants what is best for our dogs. He personally returns calls regarding questions about the care of our dogs, which speaks volumes about the level of care he provides. When it was time for us to say goodbye to our beloved boxer, Dr. Collins came to our home with Charlie and another vet tech to help him peacefully rest. I cannot fully express how much that meant to our family. Their kindness, professionalism, and compassion during one of the hardest moments of our lives will never be forgotten. If you are looking for a veterinary practice that truly cares, Park Place Animal Hospital is the best. We are beyond grateful for Dr. Collins and his amazing staff.

Richard was recommended to me by a friend and I've been working with him for the past two months now. Richard is patient, understanding, and uses positive reinforcement. He empathizes with dog owners and I really feel as though he has seen it all. During my feelings of frustration, Richard helped me gain more confidence as a giant breed owner which was something I really needed during our sessions. He understands dogs and people, and helps you understand your dog even more. I am so thankful for him. If we were not moving to another state, we would still continue to use Richard. Great highlight to note: We first met at my house and did an intro session. Then we worked in many different settings, which was so important to me-- in the house, in the backyard, at the park, during walks throughout the neighborhood, and at a different park. Richard wanted to make sure that my pup and me were comfortable in a variety of different settings. I found this extremely applicable and personable. Highly, highly recommend.
