A lot of bark! I pulled my car up to the curb to quickly take a look at this place that I was considering bringing my dog to. The owner came out flailing her arms and questioning what I was doing there and why I'm parked there. I was literally there for 4 minutes. I was so taken aback by her abrasive behavior and audacity that I obviously did not bring my dog there after all. Maybe consider not staring into people's cars when they pull up and interrogating them if you actually want their business. I definitely wouldn't leave my pet with someone so high strung! read more

I've been coming to Debbie since I got my first puppy over 20 years ago. I don't trust anyone else with my dogs. She is kind and always does an amazing job. She and her staff work hard so that these dogs all look their best. This was the only groomer I fell in love with and my dog did as well. I have an 8 pound Maltese who loved Debbie! Her energy of her and her staff was always amazing. From the confirmation calls to the pick up calls she always made me smile and my dog always looked fresh to death. This business owner is CRAZY and the rest of her staff is rude and unfriendly as well. They are very confused yet demanding at the same time. I took my dog here for 4 years and every single time you never know what you're going to get as far as customer service is concerned. They make rude comments, they scream, they're pushy and totally unprofessional on all accounts. They're so ridiculous they almost make you feel like you're the crazy one when you speak to them! Throughout the years I've had instances that always made me want to go somewhere else but this last time should be shared. A dog grooming appointment should be as simple as: phone call, drop off, payment, pickup. But it never seems to be that easy here. I called 2 weeks ago way in advanced to be courteous, for when I actually wanted to bring my dog in, and was told she didn't have anything open for 3 months due to the pandemic lockdown since she was closed and hangs up the phone on me. THEY call me back today out of nowhere and I asked if the end of July would be okay to which I hear Deb screaming in the background that she's on vacation that week. Umm OK how would anyone know that ? Isn't the purpose of the call to provide options, hello? She then confused the employee on the phone with me rambling on and on until the associate got back on the phone saying if I do not bring the dog in consistently she can no longer cut his hair because she just had hand surgery ? and it is strenuous on her hands ? and that I have to bring him in every 4 weeks. Meanwhile THEY called ME, and how could a 4 week visit be possible if they were closed. They are CRAZY and WEIRD. This is only the most recent story but again throughout the years dealing with the owner and staff has always made me dread coming here you really just never know how they will respond or what they will say to you. They also change and confuse the price, make comments to you when you drop off your dog and are ALWAYS inconsistent. I have finally had enough and cannot wait to go elsewhere. I do not recommend this kind of service for anyone ever. It is NOT worth it. Trust me when I say you will not be happy. Even if they do a decent job on the dog, it is not worth dealing with their madness. I am honestly surprised that they are in business with attitude and service like that. I presume all the customers are old or familiar and know what they're dealing with because anyone new would be scared and unhappy with such abrasive treatment. read more

I rarely write reviews but after reading the one by Bryan G that is hidden by yelp because it's "not recommended" I felt like I should write one. My dog had been going to Debbie for about 7 years. We never had a issue with her until I picked my dog up one day and her eye was SWOLLEN SHUT. We took her to the vet and he said that it was probably caused by soap in her eye that hadn't been washed out. We brought the dog back to Debbie but she denied all responsibility. We chalked it up to a one time thing and brought her back to Debbie the next month. It happened again. Her eye was swollen shut and again, Debbie denied all responsibility. I have the vet bills to prove it. I understand that accidents happen but clearly this wasn't a one time thing. Keep your dogs away from Debbie. read more

This groomer will only groom a persons dog if they only stay loyal to her. She will make assumptions that you have been to another groomer and refuse to do your dog if you haven't been to her in a timely manor. She will tell you this over the phone and proceed to hang up on you before you can finish explaining yourself. Sometimes it's not all about the grooming skills. My dog use to hate being groomed until I met Debbie. He use to cry and pull away from the old groomer. The dog now walks in and gets excited to go see Debbie and her staff. He is a big dog and because he is always outside has dirty ears. He smells amazing, his ears have never been so clean and oder free. She treats every dog and customer like family. My dog will continue to go to her and so will any of my families dogs in the future. read more

I took my dog for grooming and all I received were nasty attitudes from both Debbie's! They have no concept of customer service and are extremely RUDE!!!!! I took my dog Snowball to Debbie for the first time through a reference from a friend. Snowball can be very nervous and gets stressed easily by groomers but he got the best cut and seemed calmer than normal when I picked him up. He was ready on time and looking so handsome. My dog groomer that I had been using for years called me and told me they no longer could groom my dog because he was too big and wouldn't stand the night before my appointment and a holiday weekend! Debbie not only took both my dogs but did a fabulous job. They had tons of hair in their ears that hadn't been pulled out in a while, and they were groomed beautifully. My one dog came back so clean and white I would swear he was bleached (he wasn't - they just did a great job). I took our elder dog to have his nails clipped. The staff was excellent in handling an older dog who is easily upset with his paws. The groomer was calm and patient with Hunter, and eventually he stood still for the back paws and allowed the front paw nail cut with little resistance. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service.. READ THIS!!!!! I called Debbie and asked to schedule an appointment (My mother had reccommened her to me) well... not only did she seem to rush me off the phone but she wasnt very accomodating as well. Basically telling me she was way to busy for me and didnt know when she would be free. Not very nice (not the kind of attitude I want around my fur baby) THEN.... Today my mom called Debbie to schedule another appointment for her yorkie (She hasnt been there in a while being that she wanted to grow her hair out to get a perfect longer cut) AND DO YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED??? DEBBIE TOLD MY MOTHER THAT SHE WILL NOT TAKE HER BECAUSE SHE HASNT BEEN THERE IN A WHILE!! Debbie then says to my mother something like " I have a steady CLIENT LIST and once I take your pet out of the system they are NOT welcomed back and its done! FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO TAKE YOUR DOG! " And then HUNG UP ON MY MOTHER! ALL because she hasnt brought her there recently ( Meaning 2 months ) because she wanted HER HAIR TO GROW FOR WINTER! ABSOULTELY DISGUSTING!!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! The ladies that work here are extremely rude and disrespectful. On our first visit we asked if their were any first time specials and the lady started laughing and passed racial comments. After this we still agreed to give them a chance so we dropped our 7 month Shih Tzu off and the lady called us saying they will only accept cash EXTREMELY rude. At this point I commented on her attitude and she demanded that we pick our puppy up because they refuse to groom him. I bring both my dogs to Grooming by Debbie and never was more satisfied with her and her staff. My dogs never looked so clean and never smelled so good. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that needs a groomer. What other people are saying could have something to do with their dogs. She is a business person and does the best job considering that some owners are a little neurotic with their pets and she needs to deal with both. Sometimes the owners are worse then their pets. I am so pleased with their customer service and the TLC they gave my fur baby, Oscar. He has never looked as handsome as he did after his haircut with Debbie. And he was so clean. Some other pet grooming salons seem to just dump baby powder on top of the dogs , but don't really wash them well. My Oscar smelled clean and fresh for so long after the grooming. Left my dog with an ulcer and accepted ZERO responsibility!!!! I've been taking my dog to Debbie for 1 1/2 years. Last Thursday when I picked up my dog I noticed his right eye was half closed. I thought it was strange, but took him home. In the car ride home, the eye was still closed. I began to get real concerned. Call Debbie and she said "when he left here he was totally fine, but bring him back I will take a look". I brought him back and Debbie said "he looks fine!" And then she moved to the back of the shop, away from us. What a joke! His right eye was CLOSED at this point. She's in total denial. We took him home thinking to give it some time. By the eve, we forced his eye open and saw it was all red. Called vet who agreed to meet us at 9pm at animal hospital. Did full exam and vet said he has an ulcer on his right cornea 100% due to soap being left on the eye and not immediately washed out. Dealing with cones and drops and pills now. And a $348 vet bill. Called Debbie back and she accepts ZERO responsibility, sticking to her story that "nothing happened here, we didn't get any soap in his eye!" What an awful, awful person...complete lack of care or concern for my dog, just wanted to deny any wrongdoing and walk away. read more

We brought our dog here a few times and after the attitude we received we refuse to bring our dogs here anymore. I was told that if I am not committed to bringing my dog there every 6 weeks then they would not groom her. My dog does not need to be groomed every 6 weeks...we basically bring her to get her hair cut and every 6 weeks is not necessary. Then we asked for our other dogs nails to be cut and were told that our 15 lb puppy is "too wild" for them to trim his nails....our vet doesn't seem to have a problem trimming his nails. The final straw was when we brought our one dog in to be groomed we were told she was infested with fleas....she WAS NOT! They insisted we bring in our other dog to be treated and they would then charge us about $100 to treat both dogs.....our dogs did not have fleas! Also, they tell you to bring the dog in between 8:30 and 10am.....we would not get our dog back until 3:00 sometimes......so does that mean my dog spent the whole day in a crate until she was groomed.....why does my dog have to go in that early if she's not done until 3:00? first off this is by far the WORST grroming service i have ever experienced in my lifetime. my maltese is 16 years old. we have tried taking him to multiple places but they "do not except dogs that old". so i tried calling grooming by debbie and some man picked up. I never went there before and he was interrigating me on where i went before and why and all these questions in a very rude manner. so i said i do not appreciate his tone of voice and hung up. she then called me back and told me that he was not being rude on the phone because of the fact that he is GAY. She said every gay person is nice and that he was not being rude to me simply because he is a gay man. i find that unprofessional and disrespectful to tell a custome that. NEVER go to this place they are rude people and do not deserve customers!!!! read more

I have been going to Grooming by Debbie for about ten years now , I have three dogs that I bring there and I wouldn't bring them any other place, my dogs LOVE Debbie, all I have to say is who is ready to go see Aunt Debbie and they all line up at the door, wagging their tails ready to go my littlest dog when it is time for me to pick her up she never wants to leave. Debbie and her staff are amazing I trust them with my animals I know that they are going to be treated right and they always come out of there sparkling from head to toe, I always recommend her to other people who inquire about groomers, I find her and her staff extremely nice and very accommodating, Debbie is a great business woman, and I wouldn't believe all that is written on here, she does an amazing job always I never have a complain , if I was you I would check it out for yourself before you judge someone or their business, trust me you will be not be disappointed =) read more
