Ms. Christine is the best groomer I know.. She's so kind hearted & is a true dog lover. I have 3 dogs, 2 whom are used to being groomed & are no problem for her. And well then there is her Lilly, I found her wondering the street in my neighborhood & in so many words she was a "HOT MESS", mistreated & very matted. When I found her she was still a puppy, Christine came over to my house & met all 3 dogs & fell in love with Lilly. At first Lilly was a Tasmanian devil, but after almost a year she a totally different dog to groom. Christine took her time with Lilly do to what she has been through, she didn't mind taking extra time with Lilly. I am so glad that I have a groomer that takes that time to get to know your dog. I have a very anxious shihtzu who absolutely dreaded going to the groomers, I found Christine because I was at my wits end and I saw that she specialized in just that - anxious dogs. I cannot stress enough what a relief it is for me to know that my dog is in the hands of someone who understands her needs and will work with her. I definitely recommend her if you have an anxious pup like mine, or just if you're looking for a better groomer in general. She took the time to get to know my dog and to bond with her and play with her so that the grooming process would be a smooth one. Who knew cats needed grooming too. They are so soft and refreshed after Christine grooms them. It helps with one of our cat's dandruff and both of their shedding too. Cats don't like to be messed with and she's great with them. I have also referred several people to Christine and they rave about her and refer her to people they know. Christine has been grooming our three cocker spaniels for over a year. My neighbor recommended Christine after I expressed concerns about my elderly dog being in a cage all day at the previous groomer. One of our dogs is difficult to groom and needs a "doggie downer" before grooming. I warned Christine about him and she said "no problem." Christine is a life-saver! With the first grooming, she asked how I wanted the dogs to look, what cut and then explained everything that is included. My dogs look so good, smell wonderful after they are groomed. Christine even brushes their teeth! One more thing, Christine always cleans up the bathroom so well you can't tell she and the dogs were in there. read more

I usually take my dog an hour away to get his haircut. It always turns out to be a 7 hour ordeal. I ran into this company through Google. Out here in West Virginia it's like pulling teeth to get a return phone call or an email back from any business. Christine emailed me back in a reasonable timeframe with prices, directions, etc.....I set up an appointment and dropped the little guy off. Amazing, it didn't take 7 hours. About an hour to an hour and a half later I get a text saying my dog will be done in 45 minutes. I was very pleased with the professionalism as well as the dogs haircut. We used to dread grooming day at our house. My two sheltie's would get all worked up on the car ride to the groomers, like it was the vet. Those days are behind us! We love Christine. She really takes the time to not only make my Sadie and Coco look great but she teaches me a lot about them along the way. By having her regular scheduled visits; my dogs coat is soft, smooth, and healthy. My dogs prance around so happy after she has been to our house. No more quivering in a cage with strangers. I am beyond thankful for the incredible care that my dog has gotten here over the last few months. My dog's always been a bit anxious, but with each visit he's gotten more relaxed. I know he is in good hands, and I can even stay and comfort him throughout the visit. Melissa is really gentle and patient with him and has therefore established a lot of trust. It's such a relief to know that even if I wasn't there, he would be taken care of at all times - not put into a cage like they do at big chain stores. I tried a few different groomers before I found Christine and I could not be happier. She has taken the time to teach my puppy, gives me helpful tips on how to train her, and genuinely cares for Harley. I love that she comes to my house and does not use kennels. She works with Harley to make sure it is a good experience for both of them. Harley is always excited to show off her new style!! We have had the privilege of having Christine Groom our Shih Tsu Mr Darcy for a year now. . .but she is more then just a groomer! She has taught us so much about care for, training, etc of our dog. Melissa was beyond amazing with my baby boy Mavik,he instantly took a liking to her. She did an incredible job on his dew claw that has proved to be a huge issue with other groomers.
