0 stars if I could. The management at this salon is…read moreabsolutely awful. The way the salon workers are treated is extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable to witness as a client. I have personally been present while certain employees were talked about negatively in front of me, which I found completely inappropriate and very unprofessional. The mother-and-daughter owners create an uncomfortable environment, and their treatment of the employees speaks volumes about the kind of business they run. I should not have to sit in a salon as a paying customer and listen to employees being discussed or put down. I would not recommend this salon. There are plenty of businesses where you can get good service without having to witness this kind of behavior from management.

Today I had my first appointment with Bethany. I have recently decided to embrace my curly hair and…read morestarted my curly hair journey. Over the past couple months I have learned much (online) about the DevaCurl products and the Curly Girl Hair Method and was implementing the products and methods with only mediocre results. I decided to find a local curly hair specialist and found Bethany's website. On the phone, Bethany was very professional and helped me figure out what services I needed. During my appointment she was very professional, personable, and knowledgeable. I am oh so happy with my cut, pintura highlights, and curls! She taught me about my hair and how to use the products and methods for more curl and less frizz. She is very passionate about her career and clients and has accommodations for all needs including a private suite. I am floored to finally have someone who can help me understand my curly hair. Thank you Bethany!

BEWARE!!! Terrible customer service! I scheduled an appointment two weeks out. Got there at my…read morescheduled time and another customer was there because Noeile double booked. I was told I would have to come back later because the other customer was there first. I came back at 1p (only because all of the other places I called were booked). She offered me a $10 discount for the inconvenience. When I got finished and ready to pay with CashApp, I was told I'd have to pay the CashApp fee ($5). So instead of a $10 discount, it would be $5 for waiting 4 1/2 hours PAST my original appointment. When I offered to go to the ATM for cash, they wanted me to leave my phone with them as a type of assurance that I would return. I refused to do that as well, because how do you expect me to trust you with my appointment, but you don't trust me to pay? I was then yelled at and told not to come back (which I had no intention on doing) when I told her to take the $190 on CashApp or I could go to the ATM. The icing on the cake is that when I got home, my twists were ALREADY coming down and my hair was sticking out. The twists were uneven (the right side was an inch longer than the left) and she didn't mix the color well (it's an ombré look instead of blended). PLEASE go to one of the MANY other braid shops where the quality is MUCH better, the braiders are nicer, and they don't act like you're doing them a favor by patronizing their business! Oh yeah, I requested a refund for the terrible work and she denied it so I disputed with my bank.
