My appointments are with Kaleigh and she is a gem of a talented stylist with an amazing personality. My two teenage boys will go to anyone with availability on short notice and have never been disappointed. They both rave about the cuts and head massages so much that Papa now goes to Vogue too. Papa loves the pampering and looks forward to the herbal tea, conversation and massage. My 21 year old daughter came for a visit with badly bleached hair and Kyle fixed it back to a brown with dimension and it looked natural leaving my daughter feeling gorgeous again! All of the stylists at Vogue are blessed with wonderful personalities, talent for their trade and they listen to the client in the chair! Vogue is at a new location now which is just a block away from their old space. Parking is much easier although you need to be certain to have quarters for meters and the building is gorgeous and open. Without reserve I recommend Vogue and its stylists to seasonal visitors such as myself and residents of the area. A good salon is more necessary than a good mechanic shop!

We were lucky enough to find Vogue Salon and specifically Rachel and Katie. They were so sweet and most importantly provided great service. We were looking fabulous when we walked out the door and the best news is, they continue, 10 days later, to be perfect. We sure wish we lived anywhere in the state of Michigan because we would drive to get our haircuts with them. Lakeside Spa...ugh. Where do I start?…read more My friend and I scheduled two massages there while on vacation on Mackinac Island. We both had Jacob the masseuse - a young fellow who we both question if he was even a licensed massage therapist. The massage was such a light touch - it didn't help relieve any muscle tension for either of us and he skipped "massaging" my friend's arms all together! You have a significant upcharge for any "service" other than the basic light to medium massage (it was never even near medium) that included deep tissue, reflexology, anything. We both said to the front desk girl it was the worst massage we ever had! Girl shows mild interest and says "Oh? Sorry." My friend asked "Isn't there anything you can do for us?" Girl: "Umm...I could give you 10% off or you could come back tomorrow." Us: "No thanks. We'll take the 10% off." So, the $186 (!!) massage - $155 for 60 minutes plus a 20% mandatory gratuity add-on was minorly discounted. Gee....thanks. How about you get a qualified massage therapist instead? They count on one and done customers as they know they're not returning to this vacation island. Lakeside Spa has no right calling themselves a spa - absolutely terrible. They literally ripped us off as we didn't get what we paid for. Stay away from this place!
