I reached out to several contractors, and John was by far the easiest and most communicative from the very first conversation. He answered questions quickly, explained the process clearly, and never left us guessing about what came next. He took on the full rebuild, including new cabinets, countertops, and flooring, and he handled the details that are easy to miss. He stuck to his timeline, worked efficiently, and kept everything organized from start to finish. We left our house in his hands while the work was happening, and he updated us on progress the whole way, which put us at ease. The quality of his work is outstanding, and the kitchen looks better than it did before the flood. If you want a contractor who communicates, shows up, and gets it done right, John is your guy. After a nightmare contractor experience to begin, I was confident when I then hired Red Hammer I would be in good hands. While things started off well, they quickly declined and I was left with half finished projects yet I was out the full amount as if everything was fully completed and correct. Towards the end everything was rushed, so things weren't completed to the quality you'd expect for the price and some other items were simply not completed. I was told I would be reached out to when there was additional time to finish items, but never was. This left me having to find someone else to redo and/or complete some of the work which is extremely disappointing and a significant financial strain for a first time home buyer.

Steve coated and repaired my roof in Aug 2017 and approximately 1 month later I found water in my basement. After I did an exhausting search for the source of the leak and Steve coming to assess his work (which was still in excellent condition), through our discussion he suggested other potential causes and how to investigate them. Ultimately, I found that the source of my basement water was a leaky toilet next door. His suggestions and guidance really made the difference! Overall, his professionalism, timeliness in responding to emails, ease of payment, pricing, and of course his work are all top notch. I especially appreciate how he walked me through the process of getting my roof done (as a physician, I knew little about) and supplemented with before/after photos. Highly recommend!

I really liked his quality of work and his work ethic. I decided to ask him for a couple more estimates for other jobs that still need to be completed. I hired him for those jobs also. Sean's work is top notch at a fair price. Sean knows what he is doing without question. He's honest and has a great deal of pride in his work.... and it shows. There's only two that I would highly recommend. Sean is one of them. The other contractor was the electrician. I still have more work that needs to be done in the future. I trust Sean enough to make sure he will be the contractor I'll call when I'm ready to start getting those jobs completed.
