Aside from putting some stickers, a vent and some rubber on it, nothing else was done to sell it. I called and spoke with their Manager Neil multiple times, as well as left messages. Was told I would be called back by the manager (Neil) himself multiple times, never happened. It was like they did not want my business. Almost 7 weeks.... Beware who you do business with. If the manager (Neil) acts like this, I can just imagine the nightmare the employees are! I've never felt so disrespected by a company I was trying to do business with. Negative stars if it was an option. Response to Owner's response: Neil is the one I worked with to begin with. Why would I ever subject myself to being overlooked and discarded out of hand again? He literally agreed with me when I told him it was unprofessional and that he "forgot" about it. Country Blacksmith Trailers (Owner): We're sorry for the frustration surrounding your consignment experience, especially the callbacks you were promised but did not receive. We understand why that left you feeling overlooked. We would like to know more about where we fell short and have the opportunity to address your concerns. Please contact Neil at neil@countryblacksmithtrailers.net, and we will do our best to help.

You can say you now have concerns about whether the hour meter accurately reflects the mower's use. I'd also make the lost time and lack of trust very clear. Review I'm extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing a used mower from Wild Dave's. I understand that used equipment is sold as-is, and I accepted that when I purchased it. What I did not expect was to be told that there was nothing wrong with the mower, that it was ready to mow, and that it had recently been used multiple times by the business. I have those statements in writing. The mower did start while I was there, which is why I felt comfortable purchasing it. Once I got it home, however, it would not start again. Since then, we have spent a significant amount of our time trying to figure out what is wrong with it. We are in the process of moving into our new house, and instead of being able to spend this time getting settled, we have spent our time working on a mower that we were told was ready to go. The more we look at it, the more concerned we become about how long this mower actually sat unused. It shows signs that make it appear to have been sitting outside and not run in quite some time, which does not line up with what we were told about it being recently used and having nothing wrong with it. I was told, "It's a nice one," and made a $2,000 purchase based on the information I was given. At this point, I also have concerns about whether the hours on the mower accurately reflect its actual use, although I cannot say that for certain. What has bothered me most is the lack of trust. I would have been much more understanding if I had been told upfront that the mower had been sitting, that it had an issue, or that they could not guarantee its condition. Instead, I was given the impression that it was a good, working mower that was ready to use. I'm also being asked to pay for them to come pick it up. Given the circumstances, I do not feel that expense should fall on me when I purchased the mower based on representations about its condition that now appear questionable. At this point, I would not even feel comfortable having this business attempt to fix the mower because the more we inspect it, the less confidence I have in the information we were given about its condition in the first place. I have family members who have purchased brand-new equipment from this business and previously recommended them to me. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed my opinion. Based on the lack of trust this situation has created, I would not purchase from this business again, even if I were buying new equipment. $2,000 is a significant purchase for my family. I don't expect a used mower to be perfect, but I do expect a business to be honest about what it is selling. If I had been given an accurate description of this mower's condition, I could have made an informed decision. Instead, I made the purchase based on what I was told, and I now deeply regret it.

I love Wild Dave's! They peddle a little bit of everything but mainly quality mowers to utility…read moretrailers. You can even rent yourself a storage unit onsite. Hell even pick yourself up a designer wrist watch at a very fair price. They also do small engine repair. Everything they do with utmost professionalism. Inventory is usually well stocked and they do finance if you want to pick up a new Gravely for those big lawns out there. This family is the pinnacle of good people, and I applaud them pulling their sponsorship of the Du Quoin State Fair. The state of Illinois is run by fascists and it is high time we ALL started standing up to their bullshit.

Larry, a rider himself, was excellent in helping me secure a bike with the correct straps and methodology, which doesn't seem like much but one wrong move can cost you thousands if your bike falls in transport. While I was on his lot, I noticed a trailer that was priced right. After he had taken about 40 minutes with me to get my bike supported on my current trailer I asked to see his trailer. I had to ask as he was not pushy at all and I was impressed with his knowledge and attitude. He was well educated in all aspects of his profession. Upon leaving his dealership that day, I then made a call to where I had gotten my current trailer and traded it back to them and procured the Stealth enclosed Aluminum trailer from Desoto Trailer Sales . Larry went over a sheet of information at delivery of the Stealth and had the trailer prepped for me upon my arrival. Mark and Darren, his mechanics even fabricated a few parts to help with securing my bike chock to the floor of the new unit. If you are looking for a professional staff with excellent pricing and will even provide their cell phone number for direct contact, then Larry and his team should warrant your consideration. I thank them and look forward to future business with this group. Anyone can sell a trailer, but do they have the experience of this staff and the owner, I doubt it.
