My husband and I were traveling to Virgina for vacation with our 8 month old. One of the trucks that was hauling dirt had a rock fly out and hit our windshield and cracked it. We got the license plate number and called the company. It took a couple calls to get ahold of them. Once we did the receptionist was very nice and told us that Brady, the found and owner would call us back that night because he was in a meeting. We waited all night and never heard anything. Then we waited another day hoping they would call back. They didn't call us, so we ended up calling and they wouldn't answer. Finally two days later we got in contact with Brady. He told us that we didn't have proof it came out of their truck. He said it was impossible because the truck was only hauling dirt. He was very unprofessional on the phone and was not trying to deescalate the situation. Brady said they would not accept responsibility and since we had no proof. I had higher expectations since he is a veteran. My husband is a veteran and a first responder. Thought that would count for something. He also stated he was a first responder also but I have not found any proof of that statement. read more
