Very good grinders. Especially good was the crispy, heated bread. Made the grinders even better.

Tried to come again, closed again at 1:22 on a Friday. I believe this business is permanently closed.

Clearly also busy getting other orders ready and such. The next one to come to the counter wouldn't let my mother finish her sentences when trying to ask a question and wasted her own time repeating what the first one had told us. She then called the next person in line (who had just arrived - like 30 seconds ago) while we were standing there ready to order. She came off with even more of an attitude when we took exception. I walked out so I wouldn't get overly nasty to her. I might come back some time and give it another go. Hopefully the rude lady slows down and shows some grace for folks like my mom in the future. I'm almost sure that she was just amped up for the lunch hour but unfortunately struck out.

To be honest I thought the Mac n Cheese was the best part of the meal. The sandwich was hastily thrown together and all messed up. One big chunk of chicken salad was mashed into my croissant. The Classic Carol salad tasted quite dry, and lacked flavor. The lettuce and tomato were slapped on one side of my sandwich. I had to rebuild the sandwich just to take a few pics and eat the sandwich . Meh! Won't return.

Ordered 2 drinks and then after paying walked over to the fountain drink only to discover it was out of order. Instead of talking to a person.. it's Kiosk or online only.  Ok.. I'll do the kiosk since I was in the lobby already... I want chicken as a protein.  Nope.. never shows up.  I asked an employee " how can I order chicken?"  A sweet young lady comes out and tells me " You have to push this button that says 'Signa...'. I figured Signa ... was supposed to be Signature Chicken but the button icon was too small.  Does anybody proof read or use focus groups anymore? I go through the sauces and get down to the pita bread.  I was required to make a choice of "no pita bread" and... nothing else.  I want pita bread, but it was not a choice.  So I didn't click no pita bread.. and tried to checkout.  Nope!  Incomplete order!  I need to select a choice of pita bread, of which there was only one... no pita bread.  Sweet lady comes back and says "we ran out of pita bread a few days ago and took that option off the kiosk.  But, we have it now!  I'll give some if you want it."  So.. they can take it off the menu but never put it back on??  Weird.... By now I was frustrated with the kiosk.  I can point to what I want behind the window that requests I stand at least a foot away from. I said.."I'll try ordering online".  That took things from bad to worse. Online was ordering with zero description of what the item was along with a BB size picture.  I'll be honest.. I don't know the difference between a tabuleh (sp?) salad and a road apple horse salad.  And no matter what protein you choose, the picture never changes.  I believe the picture was falafel, which I'm sure would not be considered a protein.  That's the first step.. not a great introduction to what I should expect further down the page. Oh... due to a medical condition, I can't eat onions.  Tough to order when I have no freaking idea what the hell tabuleh salad (or everything else on the menu is because NOTHING has any description to it!) No descriptions, or even useful pictures of food, and absolutely no way of indicating I wanted the sauces on the side and not dumped on top of my food which made my lunch.. unknown lumps of something swimming in sauces I never even had the chance to taste separately and determine what I liked the best. Bottom line.. "we begin eating with our eyes".  We see something we want to eat and go from there.  Blindfold us.. and ask "what do you want" will never work at Garbanzos. And then I heard from a staff member that this store will soon be having the kitchen in the back, and only interact with customers when their food gets dropped off at the counter.  Garbo zoos is NOT McDonald's!  If I order McDonalds, I know exactly what to expect. Garbo zoos (yes, that's spelled the way I intended it) is not a burger place.  Good luck!  I'm certain you will achieve all the low expectations I have for your future. Garbanzos redefined what POS means in the service industry.  They took away any personal interaction and replaced it with 2 POS systems.

They also are closed on Sundays, so they do this offer the Saturday before. Their French toast is some the best I've ever had, so fluffy and comes with whipped creme, strawberries, and thier Carmel syrup, which, if you haven't tried, is beyond amazing. I ordered the ham, egg and cheese croissant, and it was devine. The croissant was fluffy, flaky, and sweet it paired so well with the savory of the ham and cheese. The razzelberry smoothie was just the right amount of sweet and tart. It was so hard to pick what to eat because everything sounded and looked good. They were very busy, obviously due to the great deal, and they did forget a few things we ordered and messed up some orders, but they were quick to resolve them. The food also came out quicker than expected. The staff here were so nice and answered all questions.

From the moment you walk in, the immersion is incredible. The outside is set up as Castle Byers, and then you walk through a short hallway designed to look like the middle school dance floor from Season 2. Right away, you know they put real thought into the details. Once you enter the main seating area, it gets even better. They had Chrissy on the ceiling from Season 4 (yes, that scene), the couch from the Byers' house, and the iconic alphabet wall with the Christmas lights. Our table even had a Pac-Man game built in that we could play while we waited--such a cool touch. The themed menu was great, with a whole lineup of Stranger Things-inspired drinks. I ordered the waffle sliders, which are tiny waffles with a burger inside, served with fries. They were absolutely delicious--perfectly sweet and savory at the same time. My son ordered the large TV-tray-style plate inspired by the show, complete with turkey and gravy, stuffing, green bean casserole, and more. Everything on his plate was genuinely delicious and comforting. Even though the Stranger Things pop-up is no longer available (they rotate themes--SpongeBob is currently up), I'm so glad we made the drive. The experience was fun, immersive, the food was solid, and we got a ton of great pictures. I would absolutely do it all over again and can't wait to see what theme they roll out next. If you enjoy themed dining experiences, the Wobbly Ollie is 100% worth the trip.

He was incredibly friendly and reassuring... and honestly, they didn't seat us on time anyway, so it all worked out! The whole setup was super cute, and everyone in the speakeasy looked like they were straight out of an Eras tour concert. The themed cocktails were cleverly named after Taylor's songs. Yes, they were a bit pricey, but you're really paying for the ambience and the whole experience. And the food? Shockingly good! For a kitschy, themed event, we didn't expect high-quality dishes, but we were pleasantly surprised. The décor was adorable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and we even met some fun ladies while we were there. My daughter is already excited for whatever theme they do next!
