    Buddha Bowl

The Buddha Bowl was so good! Packed with enough stuff for 2 meals. It took a little longer to make than the pizza but the result was a delicious goodness. It's got a kick so if you like spicy food go for it. If you don't, stay away. My husband wasn't impressed with the pizza so you may want to consider something else. The service was so amazing! We were so well taken care of I thought maybe we grew crowns.

Super friendly, patient service as first time diners. Answered questions we had about for and the cane sugar soda (a must, plenty of variety). Modern farmhouse decor, table and booth seating. Order at walk in, food delivered to table expeditiously. We barely had to wait, maybe 5-7 min. My daughter and I both ordered salads - phenomenal! The menu has something for everyone! I hate to leave a bad review especially because I love modern market, but my experience tonight was not good. I ordered the salmon Cesar with onions. The salmon was cooked like a jerky. Almost inedible and they forgot my onions which I was still charged for. So sad as this is my go to salad .

"grilled" cheese that smells and tastes burnt even though the bread is extremely soft

Modern Market has gone way downhill. Issues with every item we bought listed below: Ordered blackened chicken thigh for protein for a plate and a bowl and got tofu and chicken breast Ordered a kids grilled cheese. The bread was not grilled at all, super soft like its fresh out of the bread bag and somehow it tasted BURNT. Not sure how this is even possible. Modern market used to be good but the last few times it doesn't matter the location it has not been good. This was the last straw for us. Never going back.

    Half-effort pizza

Worst pizza I ever ordered from a modern market. I've been to other places and the pizza was spectacular. There was barely any cheese on this pizza. Would have gone back and asked for my money back if it wasn't 20 minutes awa

Been here twice now and my family really loves it, healthy fresh and delish! I wish there were more vegan options though.

Waited 45 minutes for a salmon protein bowl and got home to find that one of the sides wasn't included and neither was the sauce.

Then they gave up and brought in another vendor to provide the food: Felipe's 109. Mid-level burgers (and taco burgers) for decent prices. That apparently didn't work out so they contracted Chuckwagon 719, a BBQ place off Powers to provide the food, and they apparently rebranded Hammond's Pastrami & Delicatessen and the Seared Steer Steakhouse. Who is providing the food is important. That would tell me who to blame. On opening day today, my wife and I spend $46 for lunch: regular sized (they had been called a half) pastrami and prime rib sandwiches, and a side sauce. 2 waters. I would gladly spend this much for sandwiches at Katz's in NYC. But this wasn't Katz's. It wasn't Colonel Mustard's or Eastcoast Deli. This was nothing but disappointment. The quality of the meat seemed good, but it was lukewarm and not trimmed. At least 30% of my sandwich was fat. Once I opened the sandwich and did my own surgery on it, it was almost enough for a meal. I left the plate of fat, and told them about it. They apologized but offered no remedy. My wife had the "prime rib" sandwich. Cold roast beef topped with unmelted cheese. The Taproom has some of the best beers found anywhere, and it's certainly worthy of better.

Great sandwich spot! And soon to be open for breakfast :D…read moreThank goodness for smartphone maps because it is a little hard to find if you don't know, it's there. There's n o "big" signage on the façade, but the owner said they will have some soon. The place is clean and bright, and the owner, Mike, and his son Mikey were friendly and welcoming. There is quite a bit of Air Force and patriotic decor on the walls. There's plenty of seating with 12 low 2-person tables & 3 high-top 2 person tables. You order at the counter, and be sure to know that they are willing to work with you so that you can get exactly what you want. Note: there are only canned and bottled drinks available. And my husband was happy to see a Recycle bin to reduce waste. My husband ordered the Veggie Grinder (with the avocado on the side for me). It had amazing amount & variety of vegetables on it and he was very happy. I decided to try The Bobby, which sounded like a grilled chicken Asian salad on a bun. And that's pretty much what it was - so delicious!! But also so huge that I had to give half of my bun to my husband so that I could finish the chicken and vegetables. While talking to Mike, the owner, I learned that I could order that sandwich as a bowl, without the bun. While the bun is delicious, I do try to eat low carb so I will try that next time. This is a wonderful family owned restaurant that I hope we get lots of business. I look forward to returning soon. Local community involvement as seen by Falcon football "thank you" framed art

Nicole, the owner, was already giving him the 411 about everything we wanted to know about the building, her vision and Fritz. She welcomed me in like we were old friends. Big menu of pizza choices, all from scratch, but we were there for the Bunzies! Specifically, a Mushroom-Swiss Bunzy! Ground beef, onions, sauteed mushrooms and Swiss; simply but mouthwatering! It was too hot when Nicole brought them to us, so we finished off our Green Chili Fries, while we waited a few minutes. My Bunzie! No doubt the dough was homemade fresh! My Bunzie burger had lots of flavorful beef, not too much Swiss but perfect onion offering. I thoroughly enjoyed my piping hot and delicious Bunzie! I am looking forward to our next visit to see Fritz, Nicole, and have another Bunzy!

We were greeted by Nichole who we assume is at least one of the owners. Since we had the place pretty much to ourselves at 11:15am, we got her full attention. She took a genuine interest in us, was amazing to our 7.5yo son, and gave us the low-down on the history of the 'Bunzy'. There's a lot of family history in what they make, and many of the recipes have been passed down from Nichole's grandma. The second one to greet us was Fritz. Fritz is an adorable old dog. He swung my for a quick hello, then back to his spot. We ordered three Bunzys - I tried the Philly, my kiddo had the cheeseburger, and the wife had the smothered veggie something-or-other... All three were terrific! There's a full bar, live music and such from a small stage in the corner, and an authentic feel that is difficult to pull of well - but they do! This may well be my new long term favorite eatery in the Springs! A must try for a decently priced lunch, dinner, or evening of fun!
