Five stars if you're a "newbie" traveler who has little/no experience searching out flights, hotel…read moredeals, tourist "hot spots," etc., but if you have even the slightest clue what you're looking for and/or have access to the internet, one visit here will make you understand why travel agencies have gone the way of the dinosaur.... AAA offers GREAT road service, and I'm not arguing that at all!! They've gotten me out of a few tough jams, and they do have some pretty good travel-related discounts, but their travel agency is pretty much useless, and if you don't pay close attention, you'll pay a pretty high price for their uselessness. The Mr. and I are planning a trip "south of the border" for Christmas, and online searching left me a bit frustrated, so I thought I'd go "old school" and check this place out. First off, their hours are somewhat limited (Sat. 9am-1pm is your best shot if you work during the week) and although there were four people there (two at the check out desk and two back in the office) only one woman was offering booking services, while the second one sat at her desk and apparently was backing up the first agent (who complained the whole time about her slow computer!!) I got there at 9:15, and they were busy with one other person, who went from booking a trip to Michigan (other side of the UNIVERSE?!?) to looking into AAA cross country bus trips and (no lie) a future trip to Iceland...!! AAA has a good selection of brochures (though NADA for Mexico) and I thought I'd finish reading ALL of them before it was my turn, but sooner or later, I got my chance. We reviewed my plans, and I let the agent know what I had already found, and if there were any other options available. I think she went over to the same sites/info that I had already checked, and confirmed that there was not much more available... While I sat there, I saw the notice that AAA charges $30/person to book flights (with membership!!) and even charges you (if you take more than 1 hr) for their time to get info. YES, I do understand that their time is valuable, and POSSIBLY might use their services IF I were planning some sort of complicated, multi-point getaway one of these days... This day and age, the internet's your first stop for just about all of your travel research (AAA has a pretty good website itself, check it out...) and these brick and mortar locations are, (un)fortunately, not nearly the "one-stop" travel shop they've been in the past. Purchased an Assurant Vehicle Care Powertrain Limited Warranty through my dealership and have had a…read morefrustrating experience getting a legitimate claim honored. A TPMS sensor failed as a direct result of wheel hub removal during a prior COVERED repair, yet my claim was denied on the basis that there wasn't enough paperwork explicitly connecting the two -- despite the fact that this is a well-known and predictable mechanical consequence of hub work. The contract itself states that a non-covered part's failure IS covered if it results from the breakdown of a covered part, but the burden placed on the customer to document that causal link after the fact (when the repair facility wasn't asked to note it at the time) feels like a built-in way to deny valid claims. I had to escalate to the Better Business Bureau just to get a substantive response, and even then, the company's position was essentially "prove it," rather than engaging with the obvious mechanical connection. If you're relying on this warranty for peace of mind, be prepared to fight for every claim and document everything in granular detail, because the company will use any gap in paperwork -- even for an issue with an obvious causal explanation -- to deny coverage.

It's impossible to get anyone on the phone, it goes to a call center where they do nothing to help!! nothing!!! If you call the actual location a security guard answers and can't contact you to their office. I wonder if there is an actual office. please avoid at all costs. oh and why is everyone there named Mr./Mrs. Cooper?
