Our…read morehouse closed YESTERDAY, and it's 10:00 am the following day and our mortgage still has NOT been paid off - even though the title has already been filed at the courthouse. And our home equity loan settlement has NOT been paid off. They are being slow in distributing the funds to us, the seller. And we are the ones being charged extra interest now on our mortgage loan and home equity loan (T&G built extra days into the payoff amounts in closing was delayed so this is not skin off Thomas & Godley's back.) I feel that they are playing with a HUGE amount of our money - are they making a little interest sitting this????? I don't feel good about these settlement agents now.
