If you want an attorney that makes you feel like your case is the most important thing they are working on, she's not for you. If you want an attorney that understands the importance of time sensitivity, she's not for you. If you want an attorney that values your feedback when they ask for it, she's not for you. If you want an attorney that will give up on you the moment you make a mistake because you've never navigated a divorce before, she's definitely the one for you. If you want an attorney that will give you an excuse for ghosting you for weeks, she definitely is the one for you. When asked "have you ever been through a divorce before" her answer "no, but I've been a divorce attorney for many years". An attorney that doesn't understand that going through a divorce and being a divorce attorney are two totally different things is NOT one you want on your side. Begged her to remain my counsel, only because I was afraid of starting over (financial burden). Big mistake. Glad she left and gave up. It's who she is. A quitter. My experience with Mr McCrary was anything but successful . If I would have continued listening to Mr McCrary I would have no control over my child visitation. At consultation he told me I had a great chance. And it became very clear during my experience Mr.McCrary was inexperienced with my situation. When I discontinue his services Mr McCrary then inform me he has a non refund clause found under Method of Payment (iii) so l was not able to get the 3600.00+ back that was not use. I ask Mr McCrary could he please give me atleast some of my money back. In his contract it also said under certain circumstances refund. But he refused. Working with Dustin McCrary has been one of the worst experiences. He would say one thing one month and then go back on it and say something different the next month - multiple times. He did not answer emails, phone calls, or texts. I had SOOOOO many questions during the custody and divorce process that simply never got answered. Maybe he deemed them not worth his time THAT I PAID FOR, but, as a layperson, I don't know the law and that's why I hired him. Here's the kicker of the whole experience, it took me calling a third party to understand what was happening because he couldn't take the time to explain to me so that I understood. He was was rude, condescending, uncompassionate, and showed zero empathy. When everything was all said and done, I didn't even get a phone call thanking me for my business or congratulating me that the process was over. That is poor business practice. I highly suggest you speak with a few different lawyers before choosing this one and overpaying a retainer that you won't get back the unused portions of. I called around after the fact, my mistake, and other retainers were thousands less. His was a very sizable amount that I used a fraction of. how can you leave less than 1 star. horrible experience. they get you in the door and talk about what a case you have and how hard they will fight for you. then do nothing but waste your time, your money, let the apposing attorney run the show and tell you what they will and wont do, then do a 360 on you and suddenly you don't have a case, miss phone appointment (and the office does not even call you to apologize or reschedule just that another client was more important and you have to contact them), and not show up for court appointments (again another client was more important), change tactics on you and delay, delay, delay. Then when action is finally taken after a year of waiting and wasted money they don't even include any of the items the opposing party was in contempt of and needed to return or reimburse me for. Take the easy path, give in, and give all your money all to walk away worse than when you walked in and not one word about it. read more
