It is a really bad thing that I live within 1 block of this place and that I have to walk past it every day. Whenever I'm feeling tired, peeved off or stressed out, I succumb to it because the burgers are out of this world. Its just a burger but I can't help it, I love it. The Simply Grill'd burger with side chips is my usual order, with either herbed mayo or sweet chilli dip. I'll try the others one day, but for now I'm happy with my simple order. So good! The actual place is very open and has a direct competitor with Mad Mex next door. The burgers are pricey at $9+ each because they are 'gourmet' but people seem willing to pay. The restaurant is licensed and there are also specials posted regularly so keep an eye out for them. The burger industry has evolved and now grown up. This is one of the best, so try it either at the Crown St branch or there are others floating around in Sydney and other Australian states. Check the website.

Sunset Burger and regular Grill'd chips with herb seasoning. Deliciously tempting!

The Australian version of an American Diner - full bar and all! I've watched this chain grow from this the original store to now a total of 15 restaurants across Sydney, the latest being World Square CBD. Not the cheapest burger in town, but the product is always consistent and extremely tasty! Burgers of every kind can be found here - Beef, Chicken, Lamb, Vegetarian, Sliders, Steak sandwiches and Salad options. Mini burgers too for the 7 and under kids. I'm exhausted writing about the choices - it's like that having to make your mind up when ordering as well. Choices, choices, choices! You can't eat burgers without the chips. More choices - the best and thickest Grill'd Chips with a lovely mixed herb sprinkles, the healthy Sweet potato version and even Zucchini Chips! All chips have the option of having a dipping sauce (as recommended) for 70 cents more. Firstly you get to choose your bread roll-Panini or Traditional. There is even a Gluten Free or Low Carb Roll (for weight watchers) available for $1.50! My burger choice for this visit was the Summer Sunset. Grilled grass fed lean beef, avocado, crispy trim bacon, golden pineapple, salad, relish & herbed mayo. If you want to add another filling like beetroot or egg it's possible too for a little extra per item. I love this place for its variety and charity. Every order gets you a token that you put in a token jar for local charities. Every month Grill'd Burgers give $500 back to the unsung helpers of the community. Five stars from me for your business vision, product and customer service.

This place is awesome! I went here during my visit to Sydney, and I had an amazing burger! The staff is super friendly, and was checking up on the customers regularly. One of the workers suggested I try the Lamb Burger with hummus and goat cheese, and as odd as that might sound, it was DELICIOUS! I have never had a proper lamb burger being from the US, but this burger was done just perfectly. The lamb meat was tender and juicy and the hummus complimented the meat perfectly. The decor of the place is also awesome, with old edison bulbs and a modern feel. It's a great place to go alone for dinner, or good for a date. Only reason I am not giving this a 5 star rating, is because the sweet potato chips were quite burnt, and the burnt taste over took the other flavors of the chips, and I was pretty must drowning the chips in the sweet chili sauce they have. But apart from that, a great burger spot and a must try when visiting Sydney! TLDR: Great burger place! try the sweet chili sauce!

Ask for extra napkins, they never rest the patty long enough so it does drip quite a bit of juice.

I hadn't been to this one before, and I loved it!! I loved the outside area, which really isn't…read moreoutside as it's in like a little shopping centre type place. But the inside as so cute, and more seats than I thought there'd be!! The lady that took our order was so nice too!!! Their chairs aren't that comfy though!! LOL!! But they actually have USB chargers as well, but the lights that are on the end of the bench seating along the wall where the chargers are are weird. It's like being in a library LOL! And it's awkward if you're with someone cause you have the light there between us. We used it as a spot light for the chips we were sharing LOL! But again, I love their burgers, and it didn't disappoint! https://www.tripadvisor.com.au/ShowUserReviews-g255060-d7255842-r646700822-Burger_Project-Sydney_New_South_Wales.html#

We were looking for a burger place to eat and one of the locals recommended this place. We were…read moredisappointed, they don't got nothing on Five Guys! Sorry maybe I need to stop comparing, but when you find a good burger and fries stick to it. Too bad no Five Guys in Sydney, they don't know what they missing. I got the Outback Burger which was small and flavorless, my Hubby got the Deluxe Burger it had a big beet on it, I've never seen that before, that was different. He wasn't impressed with his either. We also got Fries(Chips) is what they call them with a Soda. The Burgers are ridiculously overpriced we paid $39 for Burgers that weren't fulfilling. And they surcharge you $1 for using your Credit Card, because they don't accept American Cash, seriously who turns down American Cash?
