I was a graduate student at Le Grand Ecole Superieure de Commerce in 2002. The owner and his lovely wife welcomed me and helped me understand haute French cuisine. I dined at Grill Parisien several evening every month for a year and most often chose the Plat Dujour without asking for any specific description. I trusted Chef Cartillier would serve me a dinner that was unique to France and I was never disappointed.
In 2010, I brought my wife with me for a ten-day vacation that started in Paris, then Grenoble, Nice, Monaco, Torino and back to Paris. The night we spent dining at Grill Parisien was outstanding! We started out with a variety of Tapas small dishes. My wife had the fish and I had beef with truffles. We had three deserts! See attached photos.
I am planning another trip to France for next year which prompted me to look up Grill Parisien on Yelp! Dining here will certainly be a priority, more important than seeing the Eiffel Tower in Paris... read more
